A very nice small hotel. Convenient and spacious parking. The check-in process is well organized: you receive an email with the entrance door code, then pick up an envelope with your room keys at the reception. The room was very spacious, with two separate areas and a large bathroom that included both a bathtub and a shower. There is a play area for children, and the breakfast was quite good and sufficient. A real bonus was the absolutely stunning view from the window overlooking the town from the hillside. There’s also a restaurant where you can have dinner if needed. I highly recommend visiting Baden-Baden and taking the funicular to the top of the mountain — the views are breathtaking!

The only thing I missed was a small fridge in the room — it would have been nice to have one.

The hotel was clean and in a good location. Our room was huge, with a lovely view, and there were facilities for drinks on the landing.

Breakfast was basic, and the one member of staff made no attempt to engage with us, disappearing for long periods of time. We arrived in the early evening and, whilst our key was available, there was no one on reception and it took us a little while to locate our room.

Near Baden Baden and the area for the scenery A comfortable room. The hotel restaurant was great for dinner. Check in was simple and the keys were waiting on the counter for self-check in.

The room appointments were simple and efficient. The facility has too many steps for people with some difficulties. The restaurant and breakfast hall are reachable by a winding staircase.

We stayed at the family room. Wonderful renewed bathroom with wonderful shower and bath. Got great support from the staff.

Two minor downsides. Was expecting outstanding breakfast. But it was rather simple buffet. Good quality, just little options. Secondly the beds were boxspring but had quite a bit of a pit in the middle of the mattresses. Side note, their kitchen was closed on Mondays. We didn't noticed that. Our fault, but therefor sad surprise after a long journey driving.

We stayed only for 1 night, wished it was more! Super efficient check in and lovely rooms which had everything in place. The owner went above and beyond to take us into Baden Baden so we could visit the delightful Christmas market. Breakfast was plentiful and relaxed. This truly is a gem of a hotel and we look forward to another visit. The location is stunning also, a quiet residential area on the edge of the Black Forest. 10/10

Absolutely nothing.

This hotel is perfect for a short stay. Close to Baden-Baden it is a perfect spot for a great rest after a long day. The hotel rooms are spacious and very cosy. Bathroom has a bath which makes nice for relaxing. The breakfast is very good and the host makes sure there is always food available for the guests. The restaurant is closed but will open soon again with a new cook. The hotel is extra quiet so if you are planning on relaxing and having a peaceful night, this is the place.

Coffee/tea machines in the room would be nice.

Very comfortable room, clean and most likely recently refurbished. Quiet and warm. The location was very nice with a convenient parking right in front of the rooms. Probably the fastest check in, I have ever had, the key was just left ready for us at the (unattended) reception. The staff we met (in the morning) did not speak english however they were still very nice and helpful.

Unfortunately there was no staff in the afternoon and the restaurant was closed on the day we arrived (Wednesday). This was not very clear when we reserved via Booking, but it's clearly stated on the website of the hotel. Still there was nowhere to ask where we could get some food nor some fliers or other info, but luckily we found a very good pizzeria with delivery service!

Check in was a mess. Instructions stated to go to restaurant if checking in after 4PM, however the day we arrived the restaurant was closed. Thankfully some other guests returned whilst we were trying to figure out what to do and let us inside, where we grabbed our room key left on the reception desk. So make sure that the restaurant will be open that day if you are going to be a little later arriving

We arrived late due to traffic. There was no staff available, but the key waited for us in the reception. The restaurant below the property was open so we could sit down with a drink on the terrace. Breakfast was good. Lots of fresh choices. As the weather was good, we could sit outside during breakfast. Check-out was easy. Very quiet location.

Other guests were smoking on their balcony and on the terrace. This floated into our room. Even during the night, someone very addicted was smoking outside, waking us up because the smoke ended up in our room. We do realise that this depends on other guests, but it bothered us as non smokers. Other than that, it was a great place to stay!

Quiet and out of the way. Simple and unfiltered. Friendly.

They had changed our room (one number scrubbed out and another written), though the room they then put us in was made up for only 1 person. So 1 bottle of water, 1 pack of welcome sweets, 1 towel, I pillow and a single duvet. This caused confusion and embarrassment on both parts trying to rectify. But it got sorted and we slept well.
