The best location in Thessaloníki, near all the popular places and in a lively area

The elevator! They have a bar-restaurant that's accessible by public that uses the same elevator as the guests. So annoying trying to get to your room after a nice swim at the pool and having to wait for 10' for a free elevator! The second bed wasn't comfy at all. The hotel doesn't have a parking for the guests and there isn't anything easy to get to or reasonably priced in the area.

I've stayed at this hotel for one night last weekend (17th Feb). I booked the classic room, but the receptionist was beyond nice and upgraded our room to a premium one. It was spacious and also had an amazing side sea view from the balcony. Customer service is beyond excellence, the hotel/room is very clean and comfortable. They also have a SPA, Gym and Rooftop Restaurant. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly from the beginning until the end of our stay. Breakfast buffet is rich and varied with fresh and very tasty products. The rooftop restaurant is one of a kind with a very relaxing view of the sea, where you can enjoy drinks (especially good signature cocktails), food, snacks and/or desserts. The location of the hotel makes the whole trip much easier as it's located in the center of Thessaloniki so, almost everything is very walkable. Taxis and buses are also easily accessible. Long story short, the hotel offered very good value for the price paid. I'd definitely come back again and again.

Everything! The hotel is lovely… brilliant location…amazing staff (especially in the restaurant on floor 7). The breakfast choice was excellent. Fabulous hot drinks made to order… The only small disappointment was the ‘English’ cooked breakfast was luke warm every day. We did mention it several times and was told it would be dealt with… Sure it will The room was spacious and immaculately clean. Cleaners came in morning… And turn down service with chocolates on bed at night! A lovely touch… The small pool on the roof (7th floor) was perfect for relaxing after time in city sightseeing! In truth … Everything a 5* hotel should be! Our first stay in mainland Greece… We will be back!

Nothing!

Electra Palace is a very attractive and well maintained hotel on the central square overlooking the sea. This is the best location in Thessaloniki. Our room had a large balcony with a full sea view. This is a professional operation with good although not warm service. The breakfasts are of good quality and there are extensive choices, I would rate them good plus.

Although our room was large, the bathroom was relatively small, and poorly designed. The toilet was directly behind the opening door, and if someone walked into the bathroom while another was using the toilet, there could be a serious collision and accident. The hotel desk refused to change a 50 euro note and told me to go change it at a kiosk.

The location is perfect for thessaloniki. You have everything in walking distance. The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are very nice while the breakfast is amazing and you even have a pool on the hotel top floor.

There is nothing that you can’t like at this property

The wow factor is the exceptional staff. At every level they were professional, personable, helpful and moreover, chic in black. I would call it Michelin quality. Also outstanding is the incredible 7th floor breakfast experience, with breathtaking views of the ocean and an outstanding hot and cold buffet of extremely high quality and choice. Pancakes, sweet and savoury pastries, breads, cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, fresh fruits, nuts, yoghurt, fresh juices and smoothies, a real honeycomb, a choice of eggs, mushrooms etc, freshly made tea or coffee. The service was exceptional. Although it is a large hotel it has a boutique, personal feel, with a contemporary art deco style. Lovely elegant rooms and bathroom. A perfect location. It was very well organised, easy to find a taxi etc. We wished we stayed longer.

The rooftop pool is not as advertised. It is very small, maybe 6m x 2.5m. It is a pond. On the day we visited it was also very busy. The staff were so kind and attentive. Sadly some guests took advantage of this, eg demanding a light to smoke by the pool. The other recommendation is to have more drinking water available in the room as 1 litre is not enough in those hot temperatures.

Superb hotel — undoubtedly one of the best locations to stay in Thessaloniki. The facilities are excellent, and the rooftop restaurant offers a truly breathtaking view. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade from a standard room to an executive one.

What could be improved: the pillows were too large for our comfort. We asked for a smaller pillow, but unfortunately, none were available. Also, for a 5-star hotel, it’s not acceptable to be unable to provide something as basic as a lighter or matches when a guest asks for one. True five-star service means finding a solution, not just saying it’s unavailable.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in celebration of her upcoming wedding, and it was truly exceptional in every way. The hotel was spotless, modern, beautifully maintained, and smelled absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt pampered. The staff was kind, attentive, and always available to accommodate any request we had. The meals were delicious, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the shower – what a dream! The scent of the luxurious soaps lingered after each shower, filling the room with a heavenly aroma. The location is perfectly central with stunning views that added so much to the experience. Without a doubt, we will return. This hotel exceeded our expectations and made our stay unforgettable.

very professional, great food, excellent practical tips for getting around (parking space for our friends). i really appreciated the gym. the rooftop pool and bar are awesome.

the room was rather small for a 5* hotel, but it was at a very good price so i don’t feel like it was unfair. the faux bamboo around the pool had a sun-faded colour. it’s an absolutely minor detail, but as everything else around that area is perfect, it’s an unnecessary and easily fixable imperfection, so if you appreciate constructive criticism, i’d suggest changing the bamboo.

It was a nice experience. Staff, Location, room size, cleanest was exellent. The breakfast at the roof restaurant was also a nice experience.

I did not like the fact that I have to park my self my car in a private parking, remote from the Hotel facilities around 700m far. Hotel, not only does not have parking, but they do not offer parking car service. Which to be honest was not convenient at all for my stay at this hotel, where due to the trafic restriction, you have to come around every time you park or you want to move with your car. If you are travelling with your car than this hotel is not a good option.
