Overall, I feel it was a good choice of hotel. The staff was really friendly (Ayesha was absolutely lovely and helped us with good advice and answered all of our questions). The amenities were really good - electric kettle, hairdryer, mini fridge, ironing board and table, conditioner and body lotion. Slippers were available upon request (you could also request other items through their app). The gym and sauna were free of charge. You could also rent umbrellas for 3 € for 48 hours. The beds were really comfortable and we were provided with two pillow options. The location of the hotel was relatively ok - a plus was that the bus stop was right in front of the hotel. It was also next to the Amsterdam Bos, a plus for those who enjoy nature. Otherwise, if planning to explore the city on foot, expect walking for a minimum of one hour until you reach the central area.

The flooring looks terrible - scratched and dirty looking, even when clean, not really appropriate for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast room delivery was a big disappointment. We paid almost 58 € for 2 people, what we selected through the app was absolutely irrelevant so we had to scramble to order on the phone from an employee who was at the breakfast buffet. The vegan choices were the saddest salad. And although we made sure to confirm at the reception the night before, they've forgotten about delivering the breakfast so we had to call the reception. I wouldn't recommend getting room service for breakfast, honestly.

The room and the amenities were the best. The breakfast was also good and consistent, but the meat options were very less and limited to chicken and pork with limited mention of the ingredients which can be depressing and misleading for people who are vegan or have religious faiths. Arrangement of room facilities is nice, love the details where they offer self counters for snacks and drinks in the lobby. And the umbrella and bikes rental spots. The bed was very comfortable, I have a sore back so I can feel it when it’s good support :-)

The checkout was not very smooth. I’m a new member to the Nh group and I thought there’ll be a line for check out/service for members only, but no. Then there was only one staff at the desk at that moment, who spent over 8 minutes recommending where to go what to do to the couple. I was standing there the whole time and felt very neglected. Plus my uber was approaching to arrive, so I had to barge into their conversation to give back my keycards. But the staff was not very happy… interesting!

The room was very spacious and clean, with a big comfortable bed. Everything was in great working condition, nothing was broken or worn out. The windows had proper blinds that closed completely, and the room was quiet — perfect for getting good rest. The staff at the reception were also very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or assist with anything we needed. Overall, it’s rare to find a hotel with this level of quality. We were really pleased with our stay.

If I had to point out something, the bed was a bit too firm for my taste — but that’s really just a personal preference.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with joined twin beds that still allowed us to have our own space. The bathroom was large enough for us to comfortably shower and get ready. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was extremely convenient—close to public transport, a shopping plaza, and some nice food spots nearby.

The room cleaning policy was a bit inconvenient. We were told we had to request cleaning 24 hours in advance, even though we had just checked in the night before. It would’ve made more sense to allow same-day requests in that situation.

Brilliant hotel! The staff were friendly, courteous, polite, and professional. The room was gorgeous. Big spacious room and immaculate bathroom. The room came with an iron and an ironing board, which is always a struggle to get in most hotels.. There is ample space to relax in the communal areas. The breakfast was simply amazing. I could not fault anything. The chef (from Venezuela, I didn't catch his name) was very helpful and polite and made me a next to perfect fried egg. We were spoilt for choice for the different breakfast foods.

Unfortunately, the location is a little remote and if travelling via public transportation, it is only accessible by an infrequent bus.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was extremely convenient — the hotel is situated right at a bus stop, and from there it takes only 5 minutes to reach the nearest metro station. From the metro, it’s very easy to get both to the city center and to Keukenhof flower park. The hotel itself was spotless; everything felt very clean and well taken care of. I also really appreciated the privacy and professionalism of the staff — they were always polite, discreet, and ready to assist when needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit!

Treatment by members of the team is probably the best one I've ever received. They even knew it was my birthday so they prepared a surprise for me in my room. The chef team is absolutely amazing, particularly Hermann, who made our stay great with fabulous breakfast options, always done to the preference of the client! The room was quite comfortable, big bathroom and good wardrobes.

The location is a bit far away from the centre (~30 min public transport), but the neighborhood is safe and quite nice to walk by so it is not really problematic. Soundproofing of the rooms could be better.

Very quiet location, the double room was quite large with all needed amenities (a small fridge, ironing facilities, kettle, aircon, perfect wifi connection, large desk and comfortable chair, a safe large enough to store a laptop, good hairdryer). The fresh fragrance when entering the hotel and the room. Big plus for the fluffy soft towels and the green tea toiletries. Having the bus stop just outside the door was very convenient on a business trip, and easy to reach the 3 main stations nearby, Zuid, RAI, or Amstel, from where metro, buses, trams would take one anywhere in Amsterdam. A small corner near the hotel's entrance functions as a self-service mini-market with essentials, drinks and snacks. People at the concierge are very helpful, charming, and welcoming.

We stayed at NH Amsterdam during our honeymoon and had the best experience. We originally booked a standard room but got a free upgrade to an executive suite after mentioning it was our honeymoon. They also welcomed us with chocolates, fruit, and a sweet personalized note. The Zuid district was the perfect base—peaceful, upscale, and full of local charm. We loved the calm vibe, nearby parks, and cozy cafes. It was a great escape from the city rush while still being super accessible. Highly recommend this place!!
