Very clean, great location, close to everything, a short walk from the Amsterdam Central train station, has an elevator, air condition is good.

In the same floor there are different levels with up and down stairs in between rooms. Which is not suitable for elders or guests with knee problems.

Beds were super soft, staff were helpful and friendly, shower was good, location was perfect for shops restaurants and walking distance to museums, tram stop, central station etc. and for those who are looking, the RLD is round the corner too. Compared to other hotels I've stayed at in this area this was very clean and very suitable for families.

Roof was low in parts, banged my head a couple of times, but this is the nature of a lot of buildings in Amsterdam due to age electricity went out for 4 hours on one of the days (not the hotels fault) and we had a giant spider in the room terrorising the kids that kept hiding when I tried to catch it.

Indonesia 🇮🇩 The hotel is straightforward but covers all the essential needs. I especially loved the bright mirror in the bathroom. it made doing my makeup so much easier and faster! :) The staff were wonderful: *Roland* was very helpful, *Libby* was such a pretty and kind lady, and *Val* went out of his way to provide me with a kettle since the coffee machine didn’t get hot enough for my liking. During my stay, the hotel was under renovation, but *Arthur, Rizwan, and others since I hardly to remind people's names* remained polite and professional doing their job even they not work in service. All stood out enough that I still remember most of staff names. What I like most is that luggage storage is free for guests who stay. Overall, a no-fuss stay with great hospitality. Would recommend for those who value simplicity and friendly service.

I recently stayed at the XO Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in an excellent location right in the city centre, making it easy to explore all the attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff were lovely and incredibly attentive. We did encounter an issue with hot water on the first day, but once we mentioned it to the staff, they resolved it straight away. This was my second time staying at the XO Hotel, and I will definitely be back for another visit!

The location is absolutely amazing — right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of everything you need. The room was comfortable, and the overall experience was smooth. I highly recommend paying the extra 15 euros for breakfast — it’s definitely worth it with plenty of good options to start your day right.

The only downside was the bathroom: the toilet could have been cleaner, and it would be helpful if housekeeping checked the soap and toilet paper daily. Still, it didn’t take away from an otherwise enjoyable stay. I’d happily come back!

Had a lovely stay, bit of an iffy start as there were mattresses being delivered so lots of trucks blocking entrance. The mattresses are all being replaced in August which is great but there were a lot of used (very stained) mattresses lying around ready to be collected! Then my husband got offered cocaine immediately by some guy hanging around outside but I guess that’s just Amsterdam…inside the hotel is pleasant and welcoming, we are able to safely leave our bags at 10am and explore the city before checking in at 3pm. We had a basement triple room which was clean and well equipped- great shower and a coffee machine which we weren’t expecting! The staff were really lovely and presented our 10 year old with a cuddly toy on arrival which she was over the moon about. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re after a budget option near the city centre.

The stairs were a bit dangerous (spiral staircase) and there was quite a lot of noise though none during the night that we heard. Cleaners/laundry started up right outside the room before 8am but we were in the basement!

When I saw the reviews I didn’t have high hopes for this hotel! But It was in a fantastic location, with everything at walking distance. The staff were lovely and really helpful. The fact that you could store your luggage before check in and after check out was also amazing saved dragging your bags around. Had a lovely stay and if I chose to come back to Amsterdam I would definitely stay again

There was a church outside the hotel and the bells go off every 20 minutes from about 7am, this wasn’t great and also our room was under stairs so you could hear people morning to night walking up and down the stairs constantly. This could use improvement thicker carpet or sounding out the room itself other than that we had a lovely stay

What an incredible location! We were worried about the noise with it being right in the heart of Amsterdam, but the streets surrounding were no issue at all. As one of us had a dietary need, the hotel accommodated for us incredibly. All food was labelled with the allergens and we were supplied with a tray of GF goodies each morning for breakfast. Cannot fault the staff, very friendly. The hotel room itself was okay. Decent and had everything we needed. Slightly dated but with a modern bathroom. The room was cleaned for us each day with a fresh supply of towels.

Great location of the hotel to the station, to great restaurants and the livelier sides of Amsterdam. Also a short hop to the shopping districts and a slower pace to the city.

A few bits in the room were awry. Dodgy leg under the bed. And the shower door was lose and had to be clipped back in.
