The location of the hotel was very convenient, it was close to bus routes and taxis. Also you could walk to the shops and beach and old town but it was quite a long walk 30 minutes. It was a nice area and I felt very safe. The hotel was very clean and modern and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and fresh fruit and real coffee . My room had a lovely view of the Santa Catalina hotel. I ate at Bodega an excellent restaurant hidden away in a courtyard next to The Santa Catalina Hotel.

No bar or coffee shop.The roof terrace bar wasn’t open very often.

The staff were very friendly and attentive! The hotel was clean and comfortable. We went out and came back to the hotel at about 11pm and decided to check out the rooftop bar! We were totally amazed to get out of the lift to see so many people dancing Salsa and really enjoying themselves! We loved watching them and even had a little go at it ourselves!!!

The toilet and washing facilities in the room weren't very private. We both like a little privacy and that was the only thing that let it down.

Location. Friendliness. Efficiency. We check in late after the romeria of the Fiesta de PINO. The receptionist, she was friendly and helpful. The night receptionist quickly sorted our air conditioning in a friendly and efficient manner. We will be back. Would be nice to book directly if your web site was more user friendly

The staff at Occidental were fantastic, they couldn’t have been more helpful with booking trip, offering advice into shopping, sight to see or reserving a table at another group hotels’ restaurant. Brilliant absolutely brilliant!

The hotel says it has a roof top bar - it doesn’t open it! The hotel also says it has a restaurant which it hasn’t. It does offer breakfast but that’s it.

The staff went out of their way to help with every aspect of our stay, especially the girls on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay there again. We couldn't fault anything at all. Nearby restaurants were excellent.

Perfectly located and could walk to a lot of places including the beach which was super ideal. Hotel is on the tour route which is perfect for hop on hop off tours.

The rooftop bar was hosting most days I was there and I could hear it in my room which was annoying when I was trying to sleep as the rooms are not sound proof.

Very nice hotel, would definitely stay here again. Friendly, welcoming staff on Reception and a spacious comfortable room. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of options available. The location is convenient for bus stops to get you further into the city. There are restaurants nearby and you can walk along the sea front.

The size of the room was perfect as was the equipment of the room. The bed was very comfortable. It was very clean at arrival. The breakfast had everything you need. Really enjoyed my stay.

Everytime I showered the whole bathroom got flodded.

The room was pretty spacious, you could see the port from the window and also there is a rooftop bar in the buildig. The stuff was friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfy (not too hard or not to smooth mattress).

We spent there a Saturday night and there is an open-door club nearby, you could here some slight music during the night but it was OK. You are in the downtown hotel in a busy area, these things can happen. We could sleep though.

It was very quiet. The room had a large bed. The breakfast was good. Location was good, handy for a No 1 bus

Housekeeping could be better & I didn't like the open bathroom design. Very little privacy. Unfortunately no dining room, no roof top bar & no jacuzzi.
