it's the 6-7th time I've stayed at Seres hotel and so far I've had nothing to complain about, everything was a 10.. BUT this time a new receptionist or someone I've never met before asked us to pay before. upon arrival. ALTHOUGH ..... we had chosen to pay during the stay... and... UNPLEASANT SURPRISE... we received a single room with a small bed, not as we had booked a double room with a double bed and view to street... when we asked to change the room, he asked us for another 50 euros... which we did not give him. ) ..only the next day a known receptionist changed the room...as it was in the reservation

it was very clean staff was very friendly and always ready to help you with the necessary information! breakfast was great and it was fresh and extensive every day, Ali and Didem always very helpful during breakfast and very friendly! I recommend this hotel to everyone, the location is really perfect! the cleanliness, clean rooms, friendly staff, on our last day Ali baked delicious eggs especially for us, just as a gesture! Our last evening we had dinner in the roof bar with a great view and a delicious dinner! Also compliments to Huseyn, very friendly and professional! We will definitely go back and we will also stay in this hotel.

Location is great. Old city hotel location is walking distance to all major attractions and on the main tram route. Room was small but clean and air-conditioned. We stayed in summer with 34C weather which meant aircon is essential. Roof top terrace is a great place for included breakfast and one of the nicest places we found for drinks or a meal. Prices for rooftop restaurant Mezze360 are reasonable and food and service is excellent. Staff were super helpful when Booking.com let us down over airport transfer.

Booking.com offered airport transfers included but then made it impossible to get these transfers which meant we were stranded at the airport on arrival. The airport is more than 1 hour drive from the hotel. Hotel staff made arrangements after I contacted them directly. NB If airport transfers are included in your deal then make sure you know they are organised well before you travel. If you booked with booking.com then the airport transfer is an arrangement directly with booking.com and NOT with the hotel.

When we first got there, we were a little disappointed with the size of the room and the lack of view from the windows, but the minute we stepped out and got a look at the area, we realized how perfectly it is located. So many great restaurants within walking distance. We walked to nearly all attractions, and took the tram for the rest, which we also got on after a very short walk from the hotel. The breakfast itself is well worth the stay, and the view from the rooftop makes up for the view from the room. Everyone at the rooftop and front desk was super helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed our mornings at the rooftop, and all 3 servers were great. Highly recommend staying here, and cannot wait to go back!

Double beds are very very small like they are for one person or they thought that only chinese people will visit them 🤣 Really they should do something about the beds.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of all the main tourist attractions, with excellent service throughout. The staff are all friendly and happy to help. Special thanks to the hotel owner and Mehmet, who went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide range of options, and the terrace view was simply stunning.

Everything was good apart from the rooms being small but that’s not really an issue as we were there to explore the city not to be in our rooms!

Very friendly staff and exceptional breakfast location and rooftop restaurant. Especially Ali and his team up at the rooftop were stellar and provided amazing service while being ever friendly. Spectacular view from up there as well, plus the location of the hotel in general is obviously great and right next to both the Sirkeci and Gulhane stations.

Not much to dislike. Maybe a few of the items around the room were showing their age a bit, toilet wobbled a bit for example and the shower was hard to keep at a specific temperature.

Hotel and location: The hotel is small but very sweet. The staff is very helpfull and caring. The location is great, between Gulhane and Sirkeci tram stations, in 2-3 minutes of walking distance from both. Also in 5 five minutes of walking distance from Eminonu boat station. Also in 10-15 minutes of walking distance from the main places of interest (Sultan Ahmet, Hagia Sophia, and etc). The tram passes in every 5 minutes, there are lots of souvenir shops and small restaurants around, lots of noise during day time (that was not a problem for us), full silence is only after 2 a.m. There is a mosque almost in every street of Istanbul, so be ready gor morning azan around 4 a.m. in the morning. The exhange offices close to Sirkeci tram station in Hamidiye street had good exchange rates (like in Kapali Charshi and Laleli). Rooms: Rooms are small but very clean. The linen and towels are changed every day, new bathing sets every day, daily complimentary water bottle. I don’t have enough words to praise the cleanliness, it was perfect not just in rooms, but everywhere in the hotel area. Be aware of the small bath area, but you are getting used to it. Breakfast: During our stay there were some maintenance works in the area linking the terrace with the main hotel area, due to that the breakfast was served in the restaurant next to the hotel. It was good: variety of cheese, jams, honey, eggs - boiled and omelets, bakery, different boreks, variety of breads, hams, fruits, oatmeal and etc. You have to try their menemen - tradional turkish dish that includes eggs, tomatoes, green peppers, and spices such as ground black and red pepper, cooked in olive oil. I will never forget that taste. Also cleanliness of this area was in top. Restaurant in the roof: The restaurant in the roof was open after 4 p.m. and it had a different entrance from the side of the building (due to maintanence). The personal is caring, smiling, everything and everywhere is clean, the service is excellent.

Location was very good, within easy walking to shops, foods and sights. Breakfast was very good but different. Service and staff are very nice. Room is clean and comfortable.

Shower cubical is on the small side. If you are a large person you may struggle a bit.

It is an amazing hotel with very helpful staff. Men from the reception advised best hamam, ordered the taxi, and helped with luggage upon arrival of the taxi on the other street. There was an incredible view from the roof of the restaurant. Normally all tables are already booked in the evening, but the staff always helped to find me the place on the roof. I was alone and spent my birthday there, the waiter came back with a delicious piece of cake and candle in 5 minutes once he heard that it's my bhd. Very nice cleaning lady asked me every day whether i need the cleaning today. The location is also very good. You can get in 10 minutes to Hagia Sofia , bus and tramway station. I would highly recommend this hotel.
