I am pleased to share my experience, marking my fourth or even fifth stay at Raffles Dubai. My visits have spanned both business trips and Christmas family vacations, and without fail, I have encountered exceptional service on each occasion. During my recent stay with my husband for business purposes, we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's renewed swimming pool area, which has undergone renovations two months ago, now presenting a fantastic ambiance. What sets Raffles Dubai apart is its intimate atmosphere due to its modest size. The pool area, in particular, provides a sense of privacy, with few people present, creating a comfortable and VIP-like experience. Notably, the hotel effortlessly fulfilled some special requests we had, without any additional charges. The Reception and Concierge Service staff left a lasting impression with their remarkable assistance and attentiveness. Our dining experience at the Italian Solo Restaurant within the hotel was equally delightful. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the service maintained the highest standards. For those seeking outstanding service, privacy, and a unique atmosphere at a reasonable price, I highly recommend choosing Raffles Dubai.

This was our second visit to Raffles, again part of our wedding anniversary celebrations. We love Raffles because everything is just the very best it can be. Tye location is excellent with easy access to the old town and the airport whilst not being as busy as some parts of the city. Located as part of the Wafi City development the hotel has everything you might need right on the doorstep, literally as there is an entrance directly into Wafi Mall. Raffles is clearly very upmarket but worth every Dirham. From the moment you arrive to when you leave the fantastic staff take excellent care to ensure your stay is perfect. We didn’t have any particular requests but we did ask for sun loungers on the terrace of our diplomatic suite (they are not automatically provided) and they were waiting for us on arrival. We we also delighted to receive a personal note from our butler together with an anniversary cake. We ate most nights in the Solo Restaurant which offers a wide menu at reasonable prices. On our last evening the maitre d, chef and restaurant team presented us with a complimentary desert, and we all had a group photo taken.

There is nothing that we didn’t like.

Did not use the pool as too hot. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and quick service. Only criticism I have is one morning I ordered eggs and they were cold. Room was really spacious and had everything I needed. Opted for the upgraded room with the club lounge access. Don’t get much support from the butler service, but then I didn’t really ask for it.

Really not a criticism but….had to drink my prossecco from a wine glass rather than a flute. I would have expected in a 5 star hotel they would have got me a flute from another restaurant.

The hotel is beautiful and every member of staff we met was welcoming, friendly and attentive. My wife and I loved this place. I think the most impressive thing was how nice the staff were - in every department, from the the fantastic breakfast restaurant to the main Lobby bar and restaurant and the people who cared for our room, as well as the lovely people in the Raffles club - all fantastic warm, friendly and totally professional. Some special touches like a surprise birthday cake and balloons for my wife’s birthday and a tray of sweets for our last night made the whole experience extra special. Thank you to everyone at Raffles Dubai for a great stay.

I can’t think of anything that wasn’t perfect.

The service and attention from all the staff is excellent from the very beginning. A real pleasure to have been hosted in the hotel. Directly connected with the Wafi Mall wihout going outside. Pool and gym available. Excellent rooms and beds. Located on the way between the airport and the main street Zeikh Zayed. Metro station 200 m

Great hotel, you feel like you are a Pharao! Good breakfast, and good service. The food at SOLO especially, was great, best chicken pizza I have ever eaten. The rooms were very big and the club lounge is a nice addition because you basically do not need to eat anything else. Excellent and cozy mood lights, great bed and pillow. Quite close to the metro station.

They should do something with the birds outside of Azure breakfast restaurant as we found stains on the chairs quite often. The location is good in relation to the airport, but quite far to Palm Jumeriah. As other reviewers have already mentioned, anyone can enter the hotel and enter the floors without cards needed, which might be a cause of concern. There were also concerns about stealing from the cleaning staff, but we did not have those issues.

Fantastic clean room, with superb views of Dubai. Excellent customer service particularly in the Club room, and also at Breakfast particularly Syra, but also Ambika, Lovell and Sonia) Gym equipment of a sufficient standard given we were on holiday. Easy access to DXB airport.

Pool Area - Since our last visit this area has declined in its standards. Towels were placed on sun beds, but owners were not appearing until after 11am. It wasn’t overly busy during our stay, but by 10am the majority of sun beds had been taken. There were however, Cabana’s to purchase??? Free water offered, but empty glasses not collected on a regular basis.

Depending on what you plan to do, this might be the best place to stay! Travelling for vacation or with my family (Teenagers) this is good for one or two nights only. If you want to go to the beach, look for something else. If you’re travelling on Business or sightseeing, this is the best place in Dubai! Book a club room, it pays out as you have a stunning breakfast and a very delicious afternoon tea free of charge. We never went to the other options as there are so many beautiful food places in Dubai. The skyline view is the best you can imagine and I come to Dubai over 20 years. You get your own balcony which I find huge with big chairs. Size of rooms generous, same as the bathroom. Highly recommended!

Whoever trained the staff in this hotel did an excellent job as they were all superb, particularly those in the club lounge. Our room on the 9th floor was fabulous! Absolutely huge, with an enormous bed, sitting area and large balcony to view the wonderful city skyline including a prime view of the Burj Khaleef light show in the evening. I really recommend choosing the club lounge benefits which were incredibly generous and included breakfast, afternoon tea and unlimited cocktails and buffet for two hours in the evening. It's proximity to the metro was an added bonus and we used it multiple times over our 4 day stay. This hotel really exceeded my expectations and was fabulous value for money. We will definitely be back!

A few more English movie channels, or Netflix would be great. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints and 100% recommend this hotel.
