The staff was helpful. The indoor pool was nice. My husband swam a lot. The beds were quite comfortable. Everything seemed clean. The floors were nice wood laminate, so there was no gross carpet. In all, it was a great place to stay at a decent price. If you like books, I highly recommend going to McKay's Book store. So many great finds (used books, games, musical instruments).

The pictures on the website showed many more choices for breakfast including eggs. But, it was the standard cereal or bagels. We picked this hotel because I thought the breakfast was going to be better.

The room was very clean. Good breakfast. Good location. Price was good.

My main issue was the terrifying, steep metal staircase to the upper floor. I was glad I had gotten my elderly mother the disability access room, she never would have made it up those stairs. When my almost 3 year old would be going up or down them, I'd be a nervous wreck. Honestly, I don't know how, in 2025, there are still hotels that don't have an elevator.

The room was clean with basic amenities provided. The room was spacious and we were comfortable.

The non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoking odor. Obviously I understand with some guests that this cannot be avoided, but perhaps some sort of fragrance or air purifier would be good to have in some of the rooms. The pool also could use more attention and a good cleaning. There was a lot of hair all around and inside of it.

The room was clean and in an ideal location for me and my kiddos, (right by the pool entrance). Normally, this wouldn't be ideal, as my kids are young and are typically trying to go to bed before the pool closes, but the noise of other kids playing was completely contained inside the pool area! The indoor pool water was very comfortable instead of being ice cold as it is other places we visit, at several points throughout our swim you could feel warm water coming through the jets, (nice for old bones lol). There's a Walmart very close, as well as lots of places to eat. Downtown Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain are just a quick drive on or off the interstate.

The property was 10/15 minutes from everything we wanted to do! Cracker Barrel was next door and so was waffle house Walmart was right around the corner. It was a nice view, quite and clean and we loved the pool! Booking.com don’t tell you though they have a $100 refundable deposit if the room is t trashed. I expected this as a lot of places do it now but just beware so your not caught off guard!

Location of the hotel was right by everything you needed. Hotel was very clean and nice for the price. Every hotel staff I came in contact with went above and beyond to make sure my stay was the best. Will definitely be revisiting this hotel.

Front desk employees were all very friendly. Comfortable beds, room was clean.

Drapes broken. Unable to block out light from parking lot. Huge gap under door. Had to block both with towels to stop heat and smell of pot from parking lot.

My mom & my 20month old son stayed here on new years eve(unplanned) we ended up having to take him to the Children's hospital by the time we got out it was 9pm & we were 2 hrs away from home. Downtown Chattanooga was like a huge party and we felt very unsafe. So we headed towards lookout mountain I looked up rooms and we remembered the red roof from last time we stayed in the area I love how safe and quite it is! The rooms were clean, they have a heated pool which is a plus! I gave it a 9 on ratings. The only thing I disliked was they stopped serving breakfast around 9am. Other than that It was amazing. The best part is it could be a family spot for kiddos or a romantic get away for a couple. Also it is between cracker barrel & waffle house.

We enjoyed that in the middle of winter, we still got a chance to swim because they had a well maintained indoor pool.

The downfall of this place, if you are staying on the 2nd floor, the only way up are steps either on the outside of the building or in the pool room. To someone with a disability, this was challenging.
