The hotel is very conveniently located, it has on site parking which is free. It has a very nice leisure centre with a heated pool which was great to relax in after a long day or in the mornings. The room was very spacious as well as the bathroom was a very good size. Everything you need for tea and coffee in the room as well as a mini fridge which was very useful. Cleaning staff cleaned the room fantastically.

Would not recommend the restaurant, food was not very good and a bit over priced, but there are many options not far from the hotel.

The room was spacious and clean, bed was super comfy, temperature of the room was just right and the facilities were great. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, good quality ingredients and lots of choice. Evening meal was also very good, good size portions and good value for money. Staff were always on hand if needed for anything. Room service was also excellent. Fab location for a weekend of shopping at The Metro Centre, ample parking at the hotel available.

Pillows were a bit hard, an option to choose different pillows would be a nice touch. Check in was easy but a small mix up meant we were keep waiting for the room. A welcome drink may have been a nice touch.

It’s a lovely hotel and one we stay in when we can. Rooms are lovely and the hotel has a comfortable stylish feel. Perfectly situated for the metro centre and Newcastle.

Just a few niggles. We booked two nights and then one extra night as we extended ours stay. Despite me e mailing the hotel just checking we could keep the same room it wasn’t straightforward when we checked in. It took about 5 minutes to check in. Also the bollards were up a few nights so when we came back to the hotel we had to drive around the other side of the hotel to access the car park. There was no sign to inform us of this. Just a bit irritating.

Great location for Metro Centre. Modern and clean. Room large and spacious with king bed and sofa. Over bath shower -large tv. Beds comfortable. Bar restaurant and leisure facilities ( not used ) looked good .

The restaurant was quite cold in the evening and food was only average had the Belly Pork which was quite tough and crumble for dessert which was served cold. Did eat here a few years ago and was better. Breakfast was good . Bar was nice and warm and food served in there burgers and fries looked more appetising. Staff were fab though very pleasant and helpful.

Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The room was far better than we were expecting and well worth more money. Good location for Newcastle city centre and the metro centre. Breakfast well worth the money. Evening meal was lovely.

The restaurant was quite cold when we had our evening meal. I don't like the new practice of automatically adding a gratuity onto the bill. I'll leave a tip if I feel it's worth it. The bed was two beds pushed together so went down slightly in the middle. At breakfast there were a couple of people in their pyjamas. I think this shows a lack of respect to the hotel, their staff and the other guests. There should be a strict policy of actually being dressed for breakfast. One of these people was also in their pyjamas in the bar area the night before!

Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious with good facilities . The bar and reception area was comfortable and pleasant to sit in of an evening. The location was ideal, close to A1 and the Metro Centre.

Some room fittings were a little dated albeit they functioned well. 3 days between room clean/ towel change is excessive. 2 days would be ample. A pity this was not explained to us on arrival as it came as a surprise which then had to be sorted out.

Spacious, comfortable rooms.

Artwork, carpets and furniture dated. Staff were ok, but didnt go out of their way to explain things or even smile. For example at breakfast, we werent greeted, we went up to the lady at the desk and she said nothing, we gave our room number, we were told we could sit anywhere but nothing about the protocol of the hotel e.g. breakfast and tea and coffee is a help yourself service. Most hotels they serve you tea/coffee, so this was unusual nd should have been explained

Great sized room, location was perfect for where we needed to be, the pool was brilliant for the kids, a good size and warm with good changing facilities. Plenty of free parking. Excellent price for a Sunday night. We stayed with my sister and nephew and it was great that they managed to give us an interconnecting room so we could have the doors open between them so the boys could play.

The pillows on the bed were too squashy for my liking, would have liked a slightly firmer option.

Room was great. Beds v comfortable. Very little traffic noise so a great night's sleep. All the staff were polite and helpful. The best staff feedback relates to a male cleaner who was working on our corridor. He seemed v busy but found time to get some more tea bags and milk. He was then asked to get a wine bottle opener. He produced these in minutes and was so very, very pleasant about the whole thing and so polite. I have travelled extensively in the UK and many other country's on both business and pleasure before retiring and this member of your team was first class.

Excellent location for Newcastle and Metrocentre. Good room size and facilities, great shower, free parking. 24hr Asda across the road for anything you forgot. Easy check in. Great shower in room and shampoo/ conditioner and shower gel Nice leisure facilities and changing

1 lift working that seems to stop on all floors Service in the restaurant could have been more welcoming and friendlier, there seemed to be other breakfast options and no one explained how it works on arrival. When asked how do we get pancakes we got ‘you order them’ … it was maybe a lack of customer service training. Very shallow end of pool for a leisure pool.
