It's a proper hotel with 24-hour reception and a nice lobby that actually makes you feel like hanging out in it. They have a free wine hour from 17-18 hours. You can rent bicycles there. Staff is very professional and courteous. The rooms all face an inner court yard, not the street. You can park your own bicycle secured in the courtyard. The rooms on the upper floors have a good feel and are reasonably spacious.

I spent the first night in a room on the first floor. I didn't like it. The heater was noisy and the ceiling is lower than on the upper floors. I asked to be moved to another room on the upper floors and they fulfilled that request. That room was much better. However, in general the rooms are, I would say, *slightly* run down. The shower hose in my second room was broken, spraying water all over. They replaced it. The bathroom door was damaged from water at the bottom. There were some stains on the carpet. Still, I would stay at this hotel again probably because of the vibe, location, and reasonable (for CPH) price.

The location it's just perfect, tons of restaurants and nice shops around. Very close to attractions like Tivoli Gardens and Strøget, Planetarium, 30 minutes walk to Nyhavn. It's a premium location! It's quite, not a noisy area and you will find restaurants that serve food late at night. Love the decoration in the lounge/bar area, very stylish. Love the fact you can get tea or coffee for free in the morning and wine in the afternoon! perfect! The room is basic, you don't have fridge, kettle, coffee or anything like that, just the bed, bathroom, a place to hang your clothes and a desk. Was enough for me.

I would like a later check out.

We loved the staff in this hotel so much. Everyone was friendly and very interested in our lives. We went to Copenhagen to get married and the staff made us feel very special. We really enjoyed the chill vibe, the free coffee in the morning and wine hour in the afternoon. The location was fantastic as well. Very close to everything. Vesterbro is a lovely neighborhood, full of quirky cafes and restaurants. We would certainly stay there again!

The bathroom was definitely tiny and the shower even more so. We had to put towels on the floor so as not to make a mess in the room. But this is a small thing compared to the benefits of the hotel.

Lobby bar is a beautiful welcome, well stocked with wine, beer and coffee along with games to play if you wish. Relaxed setting very comfortable! The room was comfy & clean. We had a regular double size so it was smaller, but still plenty room for the two of us to relax and recover from the 30k+ steps a day exploring! The only downside is that our room wasn’t done as nicely as the rest of the hotel, but it was by no means horrible at all! The staff were lovely, very helpful and accommodating. It was lovely they had a free wine hour & also free tea and coffee in the lobby in the mornings!

Value for money! Great location and nice environment!! The offer coffee and wine on the house which was extra points! We were given mistakenly a room with two single beds and asked to have it changed. Charlie and Erne(sorry if it's not correct how I spell it) did their best to accommodate us. There were no rooms and we got an upgrade and a nice talk at the reception by Erne.

The bathroom needs improvement but nothing that it can be unpleasant! Isolation is not good at all so if you are a light sleeper you need to use the earplugs the hotel provides in the room .

The hotel was very cosy with lovely decoration! All of the staff were so lovely and helpful! Fabulous location and value (I booked around Black Friday so I think paid about half price). The free wine and coffee went down very well with my boyfriend! Free luggage storage after checking out was amazing as our flight wasn’t until 9pm. A lot of the reviews comment on the size of the rooms but to be honest the fact that it was on the small side didn’t bother us at all. Also the water on the floor from the shower was fine. We just popped a towel down!

There is nothing that we didn’t like really! A kettle in the room would have been fab but I spotted in another review that there wasn’t one so we just brought our travel kettle with :-).

Property is conveniently located for central station as well as walking to the canal and bars and restaurants. The hotel itself has a restaurant and bar, the atmosphere is very welcoming. We chose the smaller hotel room style which was perfect for our short stay. The room and facilities were very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well.

No Water and kettle in room. We missed these items whilst getting ready for the day. Although Coffee is available downstairs free of charge in the morning and a 7eleven opposite. Just something we didn’t think about until getting ready the next day.

The Savoy is a charming 3-star hotel conveniently located just a short walk from Copenhagen Central Station (less than 5 minutes away), Tivoli Garden, City Hall Square and Pride Square (both under 10 minutes away). While the hotel isn’t perfect, it is undergoing a phase of renewal. What truly sets it apart is something intangible—the fantastic, warm hospitality from the all-female staff, who greet guests with great smiles and amazing energy. Annette, in particular, stood out for her attentiveness and willingness to listen to our suggestions for improvement. Our room was cozy and well-organized, but the bathroom had two major drawbacks: there was no shower tray, which made it messy after a shower, and there was no window or ventilation. On the bright side, the bed, although smaller than a standard twin, was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel has two standout features: Breakfast: a simple yet delicious and healthy offering of fruit, yogurt with muesli, filter coffee (unlimited), a croissant, and juice. Guests can choose to have it delivered to their room at a specified time, take it to go, or enjoy it in the lobby—which is adorably designed. Wine Hour: from 5 to 6 pm, guests are treated to a complimentary glass of wine—a delightful touch. A small suggestion for improvement: adding another stool or chair in the room would make it easier to enjoy breakfast at the desk. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return to the Savoy.

The reception staff were all very friendly and willing to help. They seemed to speak lots of languages too. Free tea and coffee at breakfast time even if you're not getting breakfast there. The location was very good, not too far to walk from the train station, Tivoli and the museum. The room was cosy, warm and had a 'staying in someone's spare room' vibe. The wine hour was a nice bonus although I only managed to go once.

Small things that didn't really impact my stay much, but the safe in my room didn't work. I did mention it the first morning but I guess they couldn't fix it. The shower doesn't contain the water so it would have been good if bath mats were provided. The floor was creaky, being an old building, and you could hear everything in the next room. Also not the fault of the hotel but something to be aware of - there were bells at 8am every morning.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. It was in a great location to the train station (and Tivoli), 30/40min walk (which was a lovely walk) from the hotel to the quirky village of Christiania and only a 10min walk from the meat packing District (fantastic for food and drinks). The hotel itself offered a happy hour which was also incredible and were always on hand to help, 24 hrs a day. We didn't try the breakfast bag but it looked great every time we saw someone with one.

Everything was great. You can understand people not being happy about the cleanliness of the rooms, but being a green focused country we were super happy with abiding by the culture and kept it as tidy as we could!
