The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although at first it appeared to be like a youth hostel from the front, inside it was clean, with all you can drink tea and coffee....and cookies! There were couples, singles, and families all staying here. Hotel was nearly right across from the trian station and about 1 mile walk from the centre of Copenhagen. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling alone, with friends, or with family. Double room was spacious and very clean.

No coffee maker/kettle in the room - but that's ok as free coffee all day in the lobby.

It is very convenient to get to from the airport. Track 2 from the airport, at Copenhagen central, go left out of the station, and walk a few minutes. Which also meant that whenever you walk into the city, it is easy to relocate central station. Tivoli gardens are opposite the station on the other side. Reasonably secure, your room pass has to be used to operate the lift. The bed was very comfortable and a great breakfast.

The room was very warm when returning to it at the end of the day. The corridor is chilled, and I was able to leave the door open to let the room cool.

Getting to the hotel was very easy from the airport as it is located very close to the main station in Copenhagen. Very friendly and helpful reception staff who let us store our luggage till check in and also after check out before we headed back to the airport for our flight. The reception staff always said hello/goodbye and were very helpful if we had any questions and were able to fulfil our request of two rooms next to each other. Breakfast had a good selection and the staff in the restaurant were efficient and kept everything filled up.

Nothing, the hotel was comfortable and a good central base for a city break. All the staff were very efficient and friendly. The hotel rooms were clean and it was as I expected.

1) Warm welcome by the staff - handwritten note wishing me a good stay and a welcome message on the toilet mirror 2) Free water and tea in the lobby 3) The bed and pillows were really comfortable 4) The location is excellent - just a few min walk away from Copenhagen Central and the Metro, Tivoli, Stroget, the Meatpacking District and the Catholic Church 5) Other staff were friendly and helpful, giving us towels, a fan, and a hairdryer when we needed them

1) The shower area is tiny and my bathroom is always wet after a shower. Asking for more towels help but it feels like such a waste of towels. 2) I had enquired at the front desk several times about a parcel that my relative sent to me from Hamburg one week before my check-out date. She had called the hotel before sending it to inform them about it. It should take 3 days to arrive but I was told they did not receive any parcel. Two of the three front desk staff whom I approached about this seemed nonchalant and didn't make much of an effort to locate the parcel for me. Information provided by the staff about the parcel return policy were also inconsistent.

It was a perfect room for a solo traveller to just recoup after a packed day of new experiences and studying Danish art and design. The single bed was super comfortable and hard to get out of in the morning. The location is so central and well connected to everything Copenhagen. I was shocked when everything was less than a 10 minute metro ride away. The staff were so kind, I was greeted with a smile everyday and it actually put a smile on my face and made me feel welcome.

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the shower curtain as it was too short so the water was getting onto the bathroom floor a little bit. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Lea at reception was absolutely lovely and generally all staff were good. The room was comfy and clean and quiet. Great breakfast range which included gluten and dairy free options for those that need them . The breads and pastries were beautiful. Nice that you can buy a beer or a glass of wine and chill on a lounge. Literally 100 metres from train station makes it very easy for getting about. I also liked that you can also open the windows.

The shower was tiny - about barely 50cm wide so when standing facing the shower your shoulder is constantly rubbing on the shower curtain. Not sure if that’s because I had a single room, but it’s still a tad too small. Some of the breakfast items were almost cold (baked beans and baked tomatoes). When I raised it with a staff member all she said was “that’s because this food warmer isn’t very hot!” 🙄 A little staff training to actually help fix the problem by offering to warm it in the microwave might not go astray. I did raise with reception afterwards and got a more appropriate response.

This was my second stay at Goodmorning City Copenhagen Star, and I came back because of the excellent location—just a few steps from the main station. The area feels lively yet safe, even at night. Rooms may be a bit dated, but they’re clean and, compared to many city hotels in Copenhagen, quite spacious for the price. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly (I had no trouble streaming Netflix), and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful.

This time, I stayed in a corner room, and the bathroom had a rather narrow shower that felt a bit uncomfortable to use. It’s a small thing, but worth noting.

The location of the hotel was really convenient for the central station. Our room was really nice and clean and quiet - lots of space, beds were really comfortable, 2 chairs to sit down and the bathroom had everything we required. The breakfast was amazing - so many options, cold and hot breakfast options ranging from croissants to cereal and scrambled egg so something for everyone! Lots of space in the dining area too and a lovely little courtyard outside. Also you could help yourself to free water/tea/coffee at any time. The reception staff, waiters/waitresses and cleaning staff were all so friendly and helpful. Great environmental initiative of only cleaning the room when requested. Good helpful maps and guides available from reception. We really enjoyed our stay here!

The location as great - a two-minute walk to the train station and 10 to 20 minutes from all the sites in the city center. Breakfast was ample and varied. The room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. I was also glad we could open the windows. The staff, especially Sebastiano, were friendly and gave great advice for restaurants and sites to visit.

The rooms were spare and the bathroom was small, the shower in our room was a triangle. The doors and windows were clean but a bit run down.
