Super location and super view from the room, and a nice room with space + good lighting. Staff was very helpful and nice, especially the receptionist from Argentina. We could stay in the room longer than until 12:00, which was comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious, a big choice and tasty juices.

I expected to have some drinks in the cooler, some coca or vine. I did not like that the bathroom and toilet were separate but it is an old house, it's understandable. The bathroom side was cold. Toilet lighting was terrible, the lamps in the mirror were too strong and ladies could not do make-up, because it was blinding. Probably the designer was a man! The sink is too small, according to the bathroom size. And it would be nice to have a mobile charger beside the bed. There was 0 charging place beside the bed or night table.

Bathroom had shower and bathtub to pick from and hotel provided us with toddler travel bed available in XL size which sleeps comfortably even 3 years old. Amazing! - Breakfast was really worth it and had plenty of options for everyone to pick. Really above average hotel breakfast.

The only thing I didnt like was clock towers sound. I understand its part of the city and nothing can be done about it, but its way too loud and every hour until midnight it makes very long annoying sound, so there is no way to sleep before midnight or past 8 am. For adult travellers it might be no bother as they can sleep when that clocktower is quiet but it was a problem for a child....

Breakfast selection was very nice; eggs were served boiled, scrambled, and as omelets. The bread was delicious. The breakfast area required a reservation with 3 time slots (07:00, 08:30, 09:45), which helped to avoid crowding and made it more comfortable. The hotel’s location was excellent. Although we arrived early, they allowed us to check in right away. After check-out, they let us store our luggage free of charge. Housekeeping also worked with a reservation system; we booked it every day and the cleaning was done properly without any issues.

We stayed in a Superior Plus room for 3 people, but the third bed was a folding bed instead of a standard one, and it was very uncomfortable. There were only two types of cheese at breakfast, more variety would have been better. The coffee was poor in quality and tasted very bitter.

Although the overall experience at Scandic Palace Hotel was great with friendly staff and a fantastic location, the room we stayed in had some drawbacks. The bed was comfortable but a bit small for two people, and the bathroom could use renovation as the lighting was poor and there were stains in the bathtub. Managing room temperature was challenging due to old cooling systems rather than modern air conditioning. The hotel would really benefit from some room upgrades and renovations to enhance overall guest satisfaction, as it already has rich history and great potential to be even classier.

The location was perfect, close to the train station, Tivoli and bars and restaurants in walking distance. The beds were extremely comfortable and breakfast was excellent

Guests need to organise room servicing, clean towels etc, via an app. Assumes everyone has a smartphone. The app for luggage storage didn’t work so the manager stepped in to resolve the situation quickly and effectively, only for us to be told off by a member of staff for not using the app when we returned to retrieve our luggage! There is no bar to relax in with a drink after a day sightseeing. The restaurants and bar are managed by a different organisation And the worst, glass doors to the bathroom which do not actually close completely!

That being said, it's located in the middle of everything significant with walking distance to all you need for a good weekend in CPH. Its location is ideal—walkable to plenty of great restaurants and attractions. The building itself has a cool historic charm while being updated with a modern, clean aesthetic that still preserves its character. The unique room layouts worked well for us as parents traveling with little kids. The staff was both accommodating and efficient, making our stay smooth and enjoyable.

There is a regular sound from the nearby clock tower in the City Hall. It didn't bother me, but maybe you have a different taste.When it comes to the price level, I do consider what I paid to be in the high end. But all in all I enjoyed a nice couple of days here.

The room was very comfortable and had good soundproofing between the rooms which made for a restful stay. The church bells could be heard through the window, but they didn’t disturb sleep at night. The mattress was medium-firm, and the room was well-equipped with everything I needed, including an iron and ironing board. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were also kind and helpful. The location is unbeatable.

While the room was generally clean, the bathroom could use a deep cleaning, especially in the shower area where limescale has built up on some surfaces. Someone had removed the light bulbs from the hallway lamps near the mirror, which was a bit inconvenient.
