Unfortunately we are dissatisfied, the hotel is being renovated and the room we got is above the garage and is very noisy. For the price we paid (195 Euro/night), we are very dissatisfied. There must be a price difference...

A very pleasant hotel. Well-maintained, clean rooms. Great diverse and substantial breakfasts. The staff was extremely nice, the room was clean and in good condition, and the location was perfect for a tourist trip, right by the station and Tivoli Gardens, with the room well-insulated, so there was no noise from outside.

There were minor issues with the cleaning service - for two days, I requested a refill of shower soap, tea cups disappeared after cleaning, and tea and coffee were not replenished daily. Such small inconveniences should not happen in a hotel of this class.

The locality is great, everything in walking distance. We had room with amazing view. Beds were very comfortable. Did not try the breakfast as we do not get hungry in the morning, but there is great coffee house just right around the corner. Unlike many others, I appreciate that the cleaning of the room and change of towels is upon request only, it helps the sustainable use of resources. There was an event at the City Hall square, so it was noisy, but it stopped by 11PM every night, so it was OK and I think it is not fair to expect total silence in such exposed place. Otherwise the soundproofing of rooms was good, the air conditioning worked well, too.

The location, the staff, the breakfasts (absolutely superb and extensive + great value), the bathroom, responsiveness and helpfulness. I'd definitely recommend this place and would stay again, especially as they're refurbishing the lobby at the moment so it'll be even better next time.

The air conditioning was relatively ineffective so I found the room a little too hot when trying to sleep - to be fair I didnt pick this up with the hotel whilst I was there so they didnt get chance to solve it. It would have been nice if the hotel had a free-to-access bar and, better still, a restaurant for serving evening meals - these may be in the pipeline as they were significantly refurbishing when I visited with my family of 4. The location (including being very near to great restaurants and pubs) also largely mitigates these issues. I would stay at this hotel again notwithstanding these points.

The Square Hotel is perfectly located—close to all major attractions. It was easy to get to from CPH Airport via train, followed by a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the hotel. I traveled solo and felt completely safe in the area. Most attractions were within walking distance. Tivoli Gardens is just a 5-minute walk away, and Strøget (the main pedestrian shopping street) is right across Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square). The breakfast was excellent—fresh, plentiful, and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, safety, and quality.

We arrived quite late at the airport, about 21:00 and booked a room only after landing. When we arrived at the hotel about an hour later we learned that we had just managed to place our reservation 2 minutes before they closed their bookings because they were fully booked. So no room for us. Good thing, they already arrange a room at same price and conditions with a partnering hotel of same or superior quality about 5 minutes walk across the street. When we got there, their staff was already informed and welcomed us warmly. So thumbs up to the staff for solving this situation to our full satisfaction even before we arrived and being very sorry about the circumstances it caused for us. Which weren't really any apart from a nice 5 minutes walk :)

My room was very comfortable, clean and spacious for a single bed room. It was a quiet room at the back of the hotel. The location was perfect. It is a 10 minute walk from the central station and easy to get to using the train from the airport. I was able to walk to many of the sights from my hotel. If I had to take the train and metro, those stations are close to the hotel and easy to find. Breakfast was plentiful and had many choices. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. I like that the hotel has umbrellas for the guests to use if it is raining outside. The lobby is comfortable to sit in and people watch or even to have a drink from the lobby bar, which is not big at all but well stocked. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and when I go back to Copenhagen I will be staying here again.

There is nothing I didn't like.

We liked the hotel so much as it was overall comfortable and clean, its toilets were clean and equipped, we loved the location, which was second to none, the staff are so friendly and would go out of their way to help, they even lend us a stroller for our 6 years old daughter. I would highly recommend this hotel over any other in Copenhagen.

the cleanness as usually we bring our own fitted sheets and when trying to change them underneath the mattress was not clean at all, which by the way is the case in most of the hotels everywhere we travelled. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The breakfast room, which also served as the lounge during the hotel's renovation, was bright and airy, with complementary snacks and beverages offered each evening. The breakfast buffet was extensive and the hotel's location near the central train station was perfect for getting out of the city as well as being near Tivoli and the city center. The beds were comfortable and the space was small but adequate.

The shower stall was too small for the size of the rain showerhead, so the water overflowed onto the bathroom floor.

The front desk staff especially Stefan are super helpful. I love the idea of the complimentary snack and drinks offered on the 6th floor in the evening. Really nice touch.
