This hotel is amazing and I cannot fault any aspect of my stay. If you get a chance to stay here I would highly recommend it. Great value for money. From the amazing, friendly, accommodating staff to the location, the views, decor, the room with its layout, inclusions and technology - all brilliant. They have thought of everything to make a short or long stay cozy & comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with options to suit most / all cultures and diets / dietary requirements. There is ample space and seating options for guests to sit in the 24 hour lounge and read, work, grab a snack or socialise. I didn’t feel out of place sitting there to read my book at night sipping my wine. No pressure on guests to purchase food / drinks to use the lounge - just a great space to hang out. Location is within walking distance to most of the top tourist attractions, in fact, I’d highly recommend (weather permitting) that you take a walk around the local streets of this hotel to view the beautiful and amazing architecture. Close to the Tivoli Gardens, breath of other restraunts, quaint / quirky shops, local designers, shopping and convenience stores.

Great location, very modern (too modern for our taste) Breakfast very good. Staff friendly. Lovely view and nice seats on top floor balconies. Issues were resolved. Very hip and cool looking.

Very expensive. -Stay, breakfast and bar. All do it your self by ipad. Very buisness orientated, that is probably good for most, but didnt work for us. No sauna or any spa facility. Bed is by the window, you cant walk around it. Bathroom and shower /wc is separated and narrows room space and privacy. We had to book on short notice so we chose the location. Nice place, just not to our taste and budget.

The room itself was smaller than I’m accustomed to, but was large enough that I didn’t miss the extra floor space. The location is great for hitting Copenhagen’s downtown museums too (highly recommend hitting the Copenhagen Museum for the model of CPH on the top floor!). I did not eat breakfast with the hotel (upcharge, ew), but can recommend Next Door Cafe, about two blocks NW of citizenM, as a cozy and quirky start to your day.

citizenM went all-in on smart rooms via their iPads or apps. However, neither of these control surfaces is fast to use - the in-room iPad took about 30 seconds to be ready to make a change (and didn’t actually expose as many options as the app on my own phone did). The motors for the electric shades, both the day and night shades, are loud as well, and loud enough that I could hear my neighbors opening or closing their shades as they went about their day.

Overall, the accommodation was excellent — thanks to its location, very friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, and also the price (compared to other accommodation in Copenhagen). We stayed on the 4th floor with windows facing a busy street, but despite that, we didn’t hear any noise thanks to the good soundproofing of the windows. We did the check-in/out ourselves using a machine (although the staff were available and helpful if needed). The room was controlled via a tablet (I think they were just introducing this system): temperature, TV, curtains, lights — everything could be adjusted through the tablet. We could also choose via the tablet whether and when we wanted cleaning, breakfast, or even a late check-out. It was great! You should keep in mind that the rooms are quite small and the bathroom is kind of “inserted” into the room. However, this is clearly written in the accommodation description. We will choose the same hotel in case od our next visit. Thanks :)

Very comfortable, cozy rooms. The mattress and blackout curtains made it easy to sleep and recover from the jet lag. And there was a good amount of space for my partner and I. The hotel was in an extremely convenient location and made it easy to pop in and out throughout the day to change or drop things off. First couple nights while we adjusted to the time difference it was also really convenient to have 24/7 access to food in the canteen.

There was limited counter space in the bathroom and the shower drained a bit slow, which sometimes caused some sewage smells to come from the plumbing. But was not a deal breaker.

The hotel's location is truly fantastic, with a variety of amenities nearby and easy access to everything. The interior design of the hotel is very stylish and modern, with every detail thoughtfully planned. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The room cleaning was regular, and all the services were very satisfying. I would definitely stay here again, everything was perfect. If I return, I would choose the same hotel because it exceeded all my expectations in terms of comfort, service, and location.

The only downside was having to select the cleaning service through the system ourselves. It would be more convenient if cleaning was provided automatically every day.

The location of the hotel is just perfect, both from a logistical point of view and for sightseeing interests. You can explore many beautiful and famous places in Copenhagen without using any public transport. And if you need to visit other districts, travel to another city, or go to the airport - the central train station and metro are right here too.

It is a very comfortable and nice hotel with great, helpful staff. Every detail is carefully thought out to make your trip perfect. However, the rooms might feel a bit too small for two people, with limited privacy when using the restroom and so on. Therefore, it is better to book a separate room for each person.

Comfortable bed, comforter and pillows, motorized blackout blinds, wonderful staff, tech-forward, location, rooftop view, bar and vibe, quiet rooms and common areas, and most guests were adults so no obnoxious children running around

Minor details.. rain shower pressure is light and shower leaks considerably into toilet area so the bath mat is routinely soaked, the noise the blinds make going up and down in other rooms can be heard in our room, also we avoided breakfast because of the price, even though it looks great. Don’t let these deter you though, the hotel is amazing and would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, nice/modern hotel. Bed was comfortable (and large, rare for Europe), and blackout curtains and soundproofing in this room were AMAZING. Heard almost no street noise, and we were on the first floor facing a busy street. Blackout curtains were literally the best of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Water available for guests on the 7th floor was clutch.

It would've been nice if breakfast was included (we didn't partake, but it did look good), but not the end of the world...more opportunity to try delicious bakeries!

It was five years since my first stay at The M…and so the original shock of the online self-service check-in has faded as we’ve all become used to the technology take-over. Actually all the staff were very friendly, fun, and helpful in the seventh floor welcome area and the bar and at breakfast. The pod-style bedrooms, with all controls on the app or iPad, still worked well and the bed was comfy, shower welcoming, and the blackout blinds excellent. Breakfast was good, coffees excellent, and the location central.

Missed not having a bottle of water in the room and a coffee machine / or old fashioned kettle is pretty essential these days. Maybe those services stripped back too far? There was also far less selection of TV channels to watch than I remembered from last time in Copenhagen.
