Breakfast is very good but I find their coffee is awful. Best advice is to find an Espresso House (a well known national chain of cafes) and buy your coffee there. The location is perfect for links to the Metro, railways and bus network. Situated in a quiet back street, it has quick access to major routes through this part of the city. Only a five minute walk to Tivoli too. The cocktail bar in the hotel is also very nice and "hyggeligt". The staff are very friendly and courteous as always. I am a regular client at this hotel.

The coffee at breakfast. It's from one of those machines which you just press a button and it does everything but not very well. The only other thing I did not like was that my stay was too short but that is not the fault of the hotel.

Very dark rooms with only two low power ceiling lights and 'localised ' bedside and desk lamp. Safe box was floor level in wardrobe which required hands and knees 'grovelling' on the floor with a torch in teeth reading the operating instructions. A constant request for black tea and milk which wasn't available in room. Also a missed request for a room makeover.

Friendly staff who actually remembered me from my last visit. I even got a free upgrade for my room which was a nice touch. The cocktail bar is really nice with a great selection of beers on tap. My favourite is the Jacobsen Yakima IPA.

Every time I always mention that the breakfast is excellent but the coffee is awful. After breakfast I walk out of the hotel and to Espresso House on Rådhuspladsen to enjoy a proper cappuccino.

The hotel is part of the Ascot group, but is cosy since you are on a different level of the building. The room was small but sufficient, and had everything I needed. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options, and with lots of healthy options. Surplus is the hotel is very close to the train station, and right in the city center. You can start you exploration of copenhagen right away.

People in the hallway were often noisy, so isolation could be a little bit better. But this problem is mostly the issue of hotel guests who should respect others.

Excellent location. Right next to a variety of restaurants and cinema's. Directly across from the Pumpehuset. Music food and drink. A stones throw away from Tivoli. Railway stations s-tog Vesterport and Metro Radhuspladsen. In fact this hotel is in the heart of things. Interesting hotel building with a mix of old and new combined. Might be confusing but outside the hotel it has signs saying 'Astor hotel' and 'Wide' and a plaque stating '57 hotel house'. All the same hotel.

Nothing not to like. For Copenhagen this hotel provided good value for money.

The hotel was spotless, staff were very friendly and helpful, it's nice and close to the city centre in easy walking distance, a very very lovely room. We went for our honeymoon as a second hotel and it served us brilliantly.

Smallest, smallest thing was there weren't many plug sockets around the room. Not something the hotel can control and not their fault at all, just the smallest issue. Other than that, it was brilliant and faultless.

The location was excellent. The facilities were very nice. There is a large luggage room which you can use free of charge. Everything is very clean, also the toilets downstairs by the lobby. There is also a large bar right by the lobby.

There was always some humming coming from the air wents in the bathroom, it was ok if you just remembered to close the bathroom door. Although the luggage room is large, there is no one looking after it. Everyone can just use their room key or borrow a key from the lobby to put the bags in while waiting for the check-in. The breakfast just a little bit disappointing, would have liked to see just a little bit more options when it comes to toppings for the toast and maybe some pastries with the coffe after the meal.

The hotel is wonderful, located in the very center, a little noisy because there is construction going on across the street, but quiet at night. There is an elevator. The staff is great, they solve problems quickly. Our toilet broke, they promptly offered to change the room. I highly recommend it. Breakfasts are delicious, good selection

The bathroom needs more thorough cleaning

It is a clean, cosy and very comfortable hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location good Bed was so comfy, bathroom could’ve had bigger towels and at least one suitable for wrapping wet hair when washed.

Plug sockets were not easily accessible with no ports for tech support apart from one located on the back of the TV. Tea and coffee facilities were 2 sachets of coffee, 3 tea bags, one small sachet of sugar and a small kettle which had to be boiled on the floor due to location of socket.

Such a lovely and helpful personnel! <3 The room was super cozy and clean. One of the best things were that our room did not have too rough central air conditioning which usually as a person with many allergies makes me very ill. Also the gym for the customers was in good condition. In addition, the breakfast was absolutely amazing, lots of fresh things, good selection of different cheese products, fruits, tasty bread rolls etc. Highly recommended!
