Staff were excellent from main reception , house keeping, food and beverage, lifeguards, animation. The hotel was generally very well maintained and pleasing to the eye. Wi-Fi was very good in main hotel, including our room, not always the case in Egypt. Beach and sea were wonderful. There is an on-site aqua sports club. Breakfast buffet was very good . Special thanks to Rania and Mabrouk at the breakfast buffet , and Mahmoud who cleaned and supplied our room 541.

The odd smoker, we could smell , on our non smoking floor. We thought the room could do with a lick of varnish or paint. We used to walk out in the evening , on the Mamsha or promenade , to view and use the local restaurants and shops. On the down side, the local authorities have not maintained the pavements well on all sides , and the hotel is surrounded by unfinished or abandoned building sites. Maybe Marriott could contact the Red Sea Governor. On the bright side , this probably gave us a quieter time.

Right on the beach with its own dive center ! Makes it’s very convenient especially if you want to dive on your holiday . The massages at the spa are good too

There is a general problem in Egypt where they will over quote prices for services and then one has to negotiate like at the spa or dive center. Considering Marriott is an international chain - the prices should be fixed

The vast array of food offerings at meal times, as well as quality was really good. Location onto the beach was fantastic.

The island bar is a lost opportunity. It closes too early, an evening sundowner at the bar would’ve been really good, but it closed at 6.

The hotel overall is good with a good beach and sea view rooms. And the most exceptional thing is the staff (all of them) but especially Ms. Hagar (Guest Relations) and Mr. Mahmoud (Shorouk Restaurant).

Hurghada Marriott beach resort was beautiful clean and as advertised. The rooms are comfortable but tired, beds very comfortable but hard pillows, the view was exceptional. All facilities including wheelchair access well maintained, the gardens are lovely. Staff attentive friendly and respectful. The beach access was our highlight. The communication prior to our arrival was excellent, my requests addressed and greatly appreciated in receiving early check in and connecting rooms.

Depending on what you would like to achieve the hotel is a short drive to town and harbour, this was no issue for us. The cocktails left a lot to the imagination, not the best. The buffet breakfast was slightly poor in quality and selection of hot food, they provide wrist bands that indicates breakfast included however there was no one to greet / seat or check the bands.

The highlight of our stay was the surprise cake they generously provided to celebrate our special occasion—it was a sweet and thoughtful touch that made our honeymoon even more memorable. The resort’s amenities, from the pristine beach to the delicious dining options, exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, exploring the beautiful grounds, and indulging in the fantastic food. The service was top-notch, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. The facilities of the hotel were the best I’ve ever experienced. Although the pools aren’t the biggest, the absolutely beautiful beach allows plenty of space to swim with enough lifeguards stationed around to ensure safety is a priority. The room was large with two double beds that were super comfortable. The best part of the hotel were the staff, everyone from reception desk staff to cleaners provided the best customer service. The breakfast was top notch with a varied selection of savoury food, pastries, fruits, desserts, juices and teas.

Breakfast is one of the very best I have ever experienced, and have travelled quite a lot. So much choice, the same for evening meal too.

We ordered two salads from pool bar and they didn’t arrive for 50 mins. I could understand if they were busy with food, but didn’t see any other food going out. Reminded waiter, who said they were on the way after 30 mins. They didn’t arrive until I went to reception to complain. An isolated instance, but believe the waiter on pool bar just kept fobbing us off. He wasn’t happy either when management spoke to him, he came over and told me I shouldn’t have complained to them!

I recently stayed at your hotel and would like to share some feedback regarding the food services. Unfortunately, I found the overall food quality to be below expectations. Several items lacked freshness and flavor, and the presentation could have been better. Additionally, the variety of dishes, especially in the breakfast and dinner buffets, was quite limited. It would have been appreciated to see a broader range of options catering to different tastes and dietary requirements.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Staff were great. My room steward on 3rd floor, Mohamed was amazing. On top of his adventurous towel origami daily, he made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful memorable one. The 3 ladies in reception were also wonderful. For us, as 2 lady travellers, it is very reassuring to have ladies front facing, especially when it is often just men. They were extremely helpful and friendly.

Scraping the barrel I can only say location. It is about 20 minutes walk from the strip in a pretty quiet part of town. However the cost of an Uber to the strip is only about 70p and arrive in seconds. Do not touch the local taxis.
