The staff were helpful.

I booked my stay based on a recommendation on booking.com mentioning that this resort is the most suitable for families however I found that alcohol was being served in lunch and dinner. I suggest that the restaurant could have a separate section for those who don’t drink alcohol which will make it more convenient to the general public.

The staff truly go above and beyond to provide an amazing stay. The food was better than expected with tons of variety daily. The animation staff were excellent as well as the Kids Club offering. The wifi was also better than expected considering the room wifi worked all the way at the beach as well. Already planning in our visit again next year.

It is insane to stay at a 5 star hotel that makes you pay to use the gym facilities. Yes there is access to the beach with chairs and sunbeds but it is a 10-minute walk which is not ideal. Overall we paid for the gym and didn't mind the walk to the beach but good to know.

Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort has been a wonderful experience. We stayed ten days, from the moment we set foot inside the resort we were greeted warmly and immediately felt at home. The staff is wonderful and go beyond lengths to entertain their guests and make them feel comfortable in any way possible. Especially Mohammed and Samuel from the Sunflower Restaurant are amazing. The Resort offers a variety of a la carte restaurants. You get one free dinner per stay, we used ours at the Grill and it was great. The Sunflower Restaurant and Saraya Food Courts offer great food as well, so there is no need to go to one of the restaurants in order to enjoy fantastic food. The pools are nice, there is a daily entertainment program by the animation team. The team really does their best to engage people in the activities and make you smile. Special thanks to Claudia and Boody for the fun experiences like daily Aquagym and dances. There are evening shows with professional dancers which are a must see! We also enjoyed the drinks at the Resort. Great cocktails at the cozy Lobby Bar. On Monday and Thursday they serve champagne at the Sunflower Restaurant, which is a nice addition. The beach nearby is also top notch, with plenty of sunbeds and acces to food and clean sanitary. Bring your snorkeling equipment because there is plenty of reef close to the coast to explore. All in all we had a great stay and will recommend Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort to anyone who wishes to have a beautiful and relaxed holiday in Makadi Bay (Hurghada). We hope to visit again in the future!

The hotel is really nice, the room was big, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. The staff at the Cabaret pool was great, very helpful and kind. The staff at the Sunflower restaurant was the best! The food was good, a bit repetitive but good in general. The drinks and snacks by the pool were great. The coral reefs right at the beach are incredible! Do not miss them, bring or buy your snorkeling gear. Distance to the beach is not long at all! 5 to 10 min, walking with children, and really easy to get to. The aquapark was a hit with my children, they loved it. The stores and pharmacy were very good also, we managed to restock our sunscreen (VERY much needed) at very decent prices.

The bar by the beach is really not good, they only offer soft drinks and beer, so you cannot drink anything "prepared", and they NEVER had ice, and with 40° of course the drinks were warm. Food at the aquapark was not great. The aquapark does not have a pool for those who are not using the slides (so mom and dad are sweating like crazy watching their children play).

There were so many things to like. The food was delicious in general, there was so much food available all over the resort so it was hard to stay fit :) The resort is very clean and the staff is very professional. The beach is a 5 min walk but there are so many large pools all over the resort. We are coming back for sure.

Some parts in the bathroom might need a renewal but they are fully functional.

Staff were great, food was exceptional. Cleanliness was excellent. Nature & landscaping was fascinating. There is a nice playground & kids club . Pool was well heated. We forgot our pram, but we hired one from them (with extra charge), which was life saver for my little one. Price is great for this lovely & nice resort.

Lovely spacious room with large balcony - felt airy and cool despite the heat. Good bathrooms. Very friendly staff throughout the property The free tickets to the waterpark were great - we used that every day

Food diversity was limited because it was impossible to book the 'a la carte' restaurant - despite trying every day, even at midnight! Hotel was nowhere near the beach - I hadn't realised that. It's a 15 minute walk and when you get there, you don't have "access". It's a large hotel in quite a small foot-print. Other Jaz hotels (like Lamaya in Marsa Alam) feel really open since they cover a large area but this felt a little claustrophobic.

We are spend 1 week in middle of February, the location are excellent , gated security communities, the beach are 2-3 minutes walk . The hotel are sparkling clean, the stuff, management are very polite, friendly and looking every minute your wish. I loved the breakfast, lots of varieties of fruits, cornkflakes, müslies, the bakery are a dream, but you can costumes your own omlett, sausage and cheese. Lunch you can have on the beach, burger, fruits, french fries, Salad fruits, unlimited drinks, sodas, juice, wine, beer. The dinner is like also a dream , always had BbQ in terrace, fish, salads, pastas, sushi, 2 kind of soups , children has their own bars, and the sweets and cakes, desert guarantee 5 kilo plus after a week 😂.My children loved the heated pool and also free entrance for the water park, every night has prigramms, live music, kinder disco, Billard etc. All around the hotel has shopes, stores, pharmacy, clinic, massage, spa. Can't wish better to my family Vacation ! Thank you Sarah resort we will be back for sure!

I hated to leave after 1 week 😂😂😂

We loved the very well-mannered staff who did everything to make sure we were comfortable all the time. Our suite was exceptionally large, which was something we appreciated greatly. We never once felt like it was crammed at all. Overall, it truly exceeded our expectations. Not to mention, the food at the buffets offered there was absolutely delicious. There is truly something for everyone. Additionally, we give great thanks to Mr. Mina Magdy, who went above and beyond to help us when we needed it.
