The resort had an amazing facilities that has a modern and premium look. The Reception staff was extremely helpful. Never seen such hospitality anywhere before. Each and single member of the staff carried a broad smile. Everyone made sure that your stay is comfortable. The whole experience was an amazing one and will definitely go again. 3 different restaurants and each one was amazing in its own way. Access to the nearby aqua park made the stay even more fun.

The hotel and the rooms are very modern and clean, they are designed in a boho-chic style and are very big. We had a room with pool infront, and it was amazing. The beach is beautiful and the beach-beds are clean and comfortable. It has a corall-reef infront of the hotelbeach, it‘s perfect for snorkling and freediving! I really enjoyed it. Mahmoud from the reception was always available for help with any needs. You are allowed to use the partnerhotel beach/restaurants and entertainment, what‘s a big plus point.

I wish they would have more variety in the restaurants cause they are a la carte, but the food was good. The partnerhotel has restaurants you can visit too, one of them is buffet.

Everything was amazing..the staff was very helpful and cheerful.. We received a complementary upgrade to our room, and it was really a nice gesture. The food was delicious..the place was very clean.. Everyone is trying to help you enjoy your stay. Definitely we will come again.

Everything but especially the people, In particular Mahmoud Eldeeb from Reception, we met him last year in our previous holiday and he always makes us feel at home, he is super nice and professional at the same time! We also want to say that Said the chef is amazing, he cooked amazingly well always available for our request especially for our daughter. All the guys in the restaurants especially Gaia and Lucina restaurants made our holiday unforgettable, the reception team in the person of Said treated us 5 stars, we will be back for sure ❤️

Posh Club, Posh Club, Posh Club! Simply incredible. I stayed in a swim-up room, and it was nothing short of amazing! Every detail, from the beautiful decor and bathroom to the room itself, was perfect. The daily room refresh, the thoughtful amenities left in the room, the laundry service, and, of course, the wonderful people made my stay exceptional. I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for the best experience, I highly recommend booking the Posh Club. Hossam, my personal butler, was outstanding—he exceeded all expectations. I only have positive things to say about him. Kareem and Radwan were also incredibly helpful and provided excellent service whenever I needed assistance. Lastly, Georgina, the receptionist, was warm and extremely accommodating.

The first thing you notice about the property is its stunning Aesthetic beautiful pools, beach and facilities. The resort boasts 7 restaurants and leaves little to be desired. Upon check in my partner and I immediately decided the 2 days we had booked weren’t enough…that’s when we learned the resort wasn’t just pretty pool bars and beautiful balconies the staff at the resort were without fault. Specifically Ahmed Adel (we asked his last name bc there are many 🙂) Ahmed helped us smoothly book another night and made everything in our stay feel like it was his pleasure to assist with. With his above and beyond attitude and welcoming attitude it was hard not to believe him when he “welcomed us home”. The staff also periodically checked in with us from the house keeping to managers and bar keeps always asking us if everything was going well. It’s clear that the service is just as high as the beautiful vision of the resort and we are already planning our next stay.

Everything was great

Excellent food. Well presented and always a joy to come along to the various a la carte restaurants and the main restaurant. Waiting staff were always polite and friendly and added a personal touch to meal times. The pools were kept clean and the water temperature was good. Loved the attention given to us around the pool by bar staff. Toilets by the pool were kept so clean, a credit to the cleaner. Bed was very comfortable which meant a good night's sleep. Room cleaner, Mohammed was polite and friendly and did an excellent job. Thank you for the upgrade to junior garden suite. Evening entertainment was good and kept us amused. Loved the dancing groups, belly dancer and whirling dervish. Singers were also good. The morning musicians, violinist, guitarist and saxophonist was a lovely touch to greet us in the morning! The beach was well maintained and the loungers were comfortable.

The music around the pool wasn't to our taste.

The hotel is so beautiful - well designed and feels luxury. The beach area is lovely - comfortable sun loungers and bean bags so you could always move to find sun. Easy access into the best part of the sea and staff frequently walking up and down asking if you would like a drink which they would bring to you. Drinks were all in lovely glass or beautiful China and not plastic which was really nice. Great location and you can walk along the beach to other resorts. The tiramisu in the Italian was delicious and the Greek restaurant was our favourite - best staff and beautiful setting right on the beach for breakfast, lunch, dinner or sunset drinks at the Yades or Eos bar.

As a vegetarian there wasn’t a huge selection on the normal menu for dinners which I thought was a shame as a lot of people eat veggie even if not vegetarian. However the resort was quick to let me know that I could order anything from the Roots restaurant in the sister resort and they would have it there for me. Just had to let them know a few hours before.

Honestly, Sunrise Tucana Hotel was unreal – a solid 10/10! The reception crew had us sorted in no time, super friendly and smooth. The food? Oh my god, amazing. Samer at Posh Club and Marocious at Yades were absolute legends – they looked after us so well, always with a smile, and honestly made our trip something special. If you’re thinking of booking here, do it just for them! Housekeeping was bang on, our room was always spotless, no complaints there. We didn’t get around to the entertainment stuff, but the pools and beach? Wow, perfect. Mohamed at Posh Club was a total star – always chatting, grabbing us fresh towels, sorting shade, just top-notch service that made us feel so taken care of. The bars and drinks were wicked too, never a dull moment. Loved every second at Tucana – we’re already planning to come back!

I think the most unique of this resort is the constant request for feedback. The hotel grounds are nice and the hotel is much newer and in better shape than any of the others we saw in Makadi Bay. The staff from housekeeping to butler to restaurant was amazing. We liked the Posh Club concept and would recommend you choose it. It makes a huge difference on the experience you will have and the Swim up rooms are great. If you prefer quiet and more privacy choose swim up rooms in the back side of the property.

Wifi was terrible, dont stay here if you need to do any type of remote work. Reception staff was poor both our check in and check out experience were terrible.
