It’s a very nice resort, the common areas are perfect and staff is absolutely amazing. The beach is also very beautiful, it has a relaxing and chill vibe. Additionally, I am celiac and Mahmoud was the best by showing me everyday (in all meals) what contained or not gluten in the buffet. Honestly, I don’t have enough words to thank his patience and kindness. All in all, the hotel offers a good variety of tasty options even without gluten. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it.

The room is a bit old and there was a leakage in the bathroom, but all in all it was manageable with the floor mat.

The price and quality are well balanced. The service is nice, and we received a free upgrade for the children's room (we traveled as a group of four), so we had chalets next to each other. We were also granted a free dinner at the Brazilian restaurant in the resort. There are small coral reefs in front of the hotel (and near the old broken pier on the left side) with many colorful fish.

A larger heated pool would be a great advantage during the colder months. There is only a small jacuzzi-style pool that is truly heated.

1. Location. Sahl Hashees comprises a nice sheltered bay (and also a part of the coast towards north) and the hotel is placed in the best spot for sun and sea. A nicely paved road runs aside the whole bay next to the shore. You can walk or go by bike for 6/7 kms with no traffic except for few golf like e-cart. There is a recently built residential village aside with shops bars and restaurants. You can walk there as well as in nearby resorts along the bay. You don't feel like being secluded or separated from the outer world as it may happen in beach resorts. 2. Quite and comfortable. Only a little entertainment and music thus little noise which is ideal for me. Comfortable rooms albeit some are a bit old dated. Good bedding. Excellent breakfast, a bit less varied are the main meals. 3. Good price quality ratio. I have had the chance to visit some similar resorts nearby and some did not appear to me to be in line with the higher price they requested at the time I have made the booking and have chosen this one. I absolutely recommend this establishment

Above assets largely offset some drawbacks like some old dated parts of the Resort and not much varied main meals. However, everything is kept spotlessly clean and food has been very good throughout my stay. There is only a small heated pool next to the large Whirpool which is also heated. The main (magnificent) pool is not heated and although opened is not very inviting in winter months

the staff are the greatest asset here. All lovely people, nothing is too much trouble. The relaxing area on the beach was new to me, it is excellent. No animation or sales people allowed, just peace and quiet. It is like a second home. I'm booked already for my next visit.

Not many English language programs on the TV.

The staff are so friendly. They are all lovely..Our favourite staff member Alaa Mahmoud whose name tag says Ali was not working during the two weeks we stayed. Ahmed Mahmod in the restaurant is great. I don't know how he can be aware of so many things going on at the same time. Mahmoud the juice guy made sure we got our freshly squeezed juices. Always joking. One of the Animation/ Activities team does an incredible job too. He invested in our well being every day and made sure we were having fun. I forgot his name. He is a tall Egyptian with lots of curly hair. He was the heart of the team. Also the brains, calculating the darts scores in the fun tournaments.

There is no fresh coffee at this hotel. Only nescafé. That is the only thing missing. We drank tea instead. This is the only hotel we would make the sacrifice of not having our daily ground bean coffee. There is a nice beach cafe with a good coffee machine close by.

Food is great,didn't except so good food in Egypt,personāls was great 👍, I can recommend 👌 this hotel 100%

The hotel may be a little old, but it hasn't lost its charm. The hotel is quit wide so the beach is very wide. You don't lie head to head. There are always free loungers. The lobby, as well as the entire complex itself, is very beautiful. The restaurant too. The food was excellent. But the best thing about the hotel is its staff. Whether in service, or the cleaning staff, or the bar staff, or the restaurant manager, everyone was incredibly nice, helpful and polite. I've never experienced anything like it in my many holidays in Egypt. Thank you! And at the New Year's Eve party, everyone outdid themselves. I've never seen such a lavish dessert buffet. It was simply the best holiday in Egypt so far.

A big surprise! I booked the hotel based on review about the beach and because of the price. Rooms; yes they are old, but I had a beautiful sunrise view (1314) and Hamdy cleaned it so well every day. Frigde, but you pay if you like them to fill it. Good wardrobe/storage space, good wifi in the rooms, aircon ok, bottled water replenished every day. Sope, shampoo, body lotion in the bath. Beach; perfect beach, sandy and no need for shoes to enter the water. Small reefs right out from the beach, so nice for snorkling. Beach bar and Mina gave a perfect service from 10 am every day. Beach is devided in two; one quite zone with no sellers. There is a beach promenade for ceveral kilometers with just bikes/golf cars; perfect to make the morning/evening walk. Felt safe! Small town Sal Haseesh 3 min walk from property with a few shops and restaurants. Food; I only ate at the buffet, but you get on complimentary dinner at one of the other (italian, brazilian). Nice variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At lunch and dinner they barbecued outside, crabs, fish, chicken and more. Huge salat bar, at least 4-6 different main courses. High quality and you could see that the chefs took a pride in the food. Big thanks to Mahmoud for perfect omelet every morning. Service; although I felt that the manager in the restaurant had a leadership style that was more into giving negative feedback, the waiters did a great job. Especially at lunch when we ate outside away from the manager the mood was good, service was personal and Mohamed Ali gave great service! Reception bar; also super service. Tried som premium coctails, about 4 Euro, really good. I found the inclusive wine good! Common areas, toilets, lobby, restaurant; new/more fresh than the rooms

The rooms are really dated, so if you look from brand new rooms this is not the place. I think the beach, food and service makes up for it. The pillows are not comfy, the bed is very firm and the bed linens needs to be replaced. The furnitures at the balcony and poolbar are so old. Parts of the hotel /rooms are closed/not in use. I hope the owners will see the potential and start some updates:)

Excellent service, excellent location. Special thanks to Mr. Mohamed at the front office for looking after my stay I was supposed to stay one night and i kept extending as everything in this hotel exceeded my expectations. The service and the food at this property is exceptional. From the Director of F&B, F&B Managers to the bartenders at the lobby bar and restaurants everyone is always there trying to make your stay a great one. Cant recommend it enough. Another thanks to the decent and always smiling Chef Mahmoud at the grill. Heated pool in a quiet area for best relaxation. Amazing long and wide beach. Food variety really surprised me ( I never saw grilled crabs and grilled quails in any 5 star hotel open buffet )

This is our second time to this lovely hotel. Everything was excellent. The rooms are very clean. (A big thanks to Ibrahim). We had a sea view room, The view was amazing. Staff are very helpful especially in the restaurant. Mr Ahmed, the manger of the restaurant is working very hard to satisfy everyone. Receptionist Mr Anwar was very helpful. We contacted him by phone before arriving asking some questions and he answered all our queries and was very nice and patient. We want to thank every single one serving in this hotel. They all work as a big family trying to make everyone happy. We'll definitely come again.
