The hotel is stunning. Overall the beach, the corals, the personnel, the beautiful building and interior is so impressive. We spent so much time snorkeling, we saw a turtle a few times. Definitely one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed. We didn't have any problems with the room or food, even though the food wasn't any special. Grilled options outside were always tasty, breakfast with the stuffed omelettes were nice. Waffles at 17 were good, waterslides real fun. We took a Dolphin House and a Sunset desert quad cars trips arranged by the hotel and they were great even though you can book the same tours for half the price online. If you doubt, give it a try. I can more than recommend.

The pasties which looked very attractive didn't taste of anything and the drinks were bad, really really bad. We don't drink alcohol, so sprite, Fanta, cola did not resemble the real ones, mocktails just four and very basic, nothing familiar. Only tea and bottled water which you could get without limit from the bar were good. The shops in the hotel don't have price tags, so they charge you by your appearance.. very much, then calculate the quoted price in pounds and use the rate which is much more than official. If you need to buy sun lotion, snacks or games or something small, there is a decent small and cheap supermarket in Serenity hotel 5 min drive away. Pillows are bad, if you have space in your luggage, take your own.

The sheltered bay provided a fantastic swimming experience – the calm waters were perfect for enjoying the sea without worrying about strong waves. The staff were friendly and helpful, although there were occasional communication challenges. Overall, they went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations based on online photos and reviews. The white buildings were immaculately clean and well-maintained, creating a picture-perfect scene against the blue sky and sea. Having read some negative reviews about the food, I wasn't expecting much. However, I was pleasantly surprised! While I wouldn't say the food was exceptional, it was certainly decent, and the desserts were absolutely delicious! Even though I don't usually have a sweet tooth, I couldn't resist indulging in the amazing cakes and cookies.

We booked a bungalow but received an unexpected "junior suite" upgrade. While spacious and modern with a nice bathroom, the room unfortunately backed onto a building complex with a generator running 24/7. This made the room very noisy, especially at night. We requested a switch back to a bungalow due to the noise. While the bungalow offered the desired quietness, its interior was dated. The biggest issue, however, was a persistent sewage smell in the bathroom. Unfortunately, we had to choose between a noisy suite and an unpleasant bathroom odor.

Fabulous approach to the resort. Upgrade to garden villa. Beach area and sea life in cove. Staff amicable and did their best.

Lots of stairs and walking, no information available about the resort in the the room. Hard sell on spa treatments. Wifi expensive for in room. Only small area in reception covered by wifi. Need to pay for shuttle if a visit to the town wanted. Dining arrangements not enough tables and chairs at dinner. Villas need some TLC and modernising and new AC systems and fridges. Ours kept us awake and on occasions did not cool the room. We discussed all these with the reception manager and was assured things would be improved as the resort is in the process of reopening after the pandemic and things take time. He genuinely believed that in 12 months things would be better. The description on booking.com is misleading and not really reflective of the resort now.

The whole hotel was wonderful. All the meals were delicious and plentiful, with a huge choice. The room, the beach, the sea, everything was beyond expectations, we had a great time. The staff deserve special praise. They were polite, courteous and attentive. I would like to highlight Mr Mohamed Elsayed, in charge of the restaurant, and Mr Hassan Elbarbary, head chef, to whom we owe a special thanks. I would highly recommend this holiday place to everyone, as it is second to none.

Beach - The property’s private sandy beach is exceptional. You can snorkel just by the beach with many corals and fishes to see. The beach is very clean and the hotel provides towels and beds to relax. The ‘animation’ (entertainment) team also run beach volleyball and aqua gym late morning which is really fun! There are 3 bars serving good food by the beach. Hotel accommodation - the accommodation was very good, clean rooms and excellent service staff. The Air-condition in the rooms were very good and the shower/bathroom was very clean too. Staff - all staff were exceptionally friendly and very accommodation but a few deserve a specific mention! Khalid in the entertainment team was super and amazing! The main chef was super accommodating as we had some vegetarians in the group and he made special dishes for them everyday! The front desk reception staff were very helpful - Abd Rahman and Ali were very helpful when we first checked in very late at night. Sammy in the pizza area makes the best pizzas ever but he specially made us ‘mano’ousha’ for us and it was superb! Food - food choices could have been better - it was quite mundane every day and although the quality was alright it would have been better if they had more hot food choices and meat and vegetarian choices. The plates and cutlery were not always clean so they need to work on that. Facilities - excellent facilities overall but wifi was very poor and we had to get Egyptian phone sim card for data. Wifi was a huge let down. Swimming pool was very good and excellent for kids with slides.

The resort is secluded, with no adjacent resorts on the south side. The bay is perfect for snorkeling with kids, with no big waves and direct entrance to sea (unlike jetties used for some other resorts). Although most of the corals are bleached, still you find a huge variety of fishes (big and small). Also, the resort is not super big (like a small city), which i like. The whole staff is kind and very helpful. There are enough pools for kids to have fun (water slides, etc). The resort is clean and the staff takes a lot of efforts to keep it very clean and tidy. We did a lot of activities without leaving the resort - Massage on the beach, Parasailing (adjacent beach), Quad bike ride (adjacent desert), Wind surfing (same beach). Being vegetarians, food options was a challenge for lunch and dinner, but we always found good options. Most importantly, we had no stomach issues throughout our stay! (this was the biggest worry). The outside grill and fresh bread/pizza counter was amazing!

It seems that all the resorts in the area are powered by captive diesel power units, which i found a bit noisy. But once you are inside your room with windows closed and A/C on, it really doesn't matter.

Easy access to the beach, everything was clean and the staff were always smiling and ready to assist you if you need anything

Nothing,I would say at first the room wasn’t clean and outdated however they didn’t hesitate to fix that and accommodate me with a nicer and cleaner room. I would recommend that if you have anything that you don’t like or unsure about, Manager Magdi and the staff are always willing to help and fix any concerns which means more than anything else. Thank you

The hotel is exceptional, one of the best hotels I have stayed in Egypt, the staff were very helpful and courteous, and not at all pushy. From the cleaning staff to service staff, they are very well trained and help make the holiday better, the bay itself is like a paradise with calm and clear water, excellent for both leisurely swimming and snorkeling. I will try to come back to this hotel for sure as I really enjoyed my experience there.

Quality of food and drink is the same as any all inclusive hotel I have stayed at in Egypt, regardless of 2 or 3 or 4 stars, and the prices for extra things are very exaggerated, for example shisha costs 700 Egyptian pounds, whereas in Cairo you'll never pay more than 100, hotel taxi to the airport costs around 30 euro, whereas you can book one yourself on booking.com for less than 10

The views and the sea are absolutely amazing. The room was cozy and clean, the territory is green, spacious and groomed. The most beautiful was the beach, the entrance to the sea is sandy and safe and there is a lot of fish swimming around.

There were some problems with the quality of alcohol in the bars, since the staff mixed it with water. Additionally the hotel ordered the alcohol of the brand Yahnina- this is the real poison, smells like hell. Please do not order this brand, you have such a nice hotel and there is no need to spoil an impression with a little bit beat cheaper brand of drinks.

This place definitely has its ups and downs. + The golden bay. It has beautiful sealife, even some turtles if you swim further away. + The beach. Comfy sunbeds and always minimal wind. Comfortable for relaxation. + The food. It was tasty and almost always you could find a couple of good meals. You could also eat at the beach between 12 and 16. I recommend pizza BBQ, ceazar salad and hamburgers. Great deserts are available at the bar near reception from 15:00. + Hotel facilities. A new ping-pong table, a pool table, water slides (work 10 to 12 and 14 to 16). + The higher rank staff. Upper management was always nice and helpful. We were treated like VIP guests. - The lower staff: waiters, janitors, etc. One waiter brought us alcoholic coctail, while we don't drink and clearly asked for non-alcoholic. Another waiter forgot our order at the beach bar and we just sat there for like 30 min. I also had to argue with a janitor over a spare bottle of water and he still refused to give it. +- The rooms. The room itself is quite big, includes nice balcony with a sea view, but it has downsides. Firstly, the beds are not really soft. Secondly, there are always some minor things that are broken. We tried three rooms, in one there was problem with lights and sockets, in another there was a broken shelf, etc. Finally, most of the rooms have a door to neighbours. It is locked but totally not sound proof. You could super easilty hear what people were talking about. On a positive note, we were always offered to change rooms for free, if there was a problem.

- Tap water. It is rusty and you can taste metal even when washing mouth after brushing teeth. A couple of times there was no water at all for like an hour. - Noise. There is a very loud electric generator that powers up this hotel. Half of the rooms face their doors towards it, so you may have to move if you are unlucky. Back wing of the hotel is situated above a restaurant (music from 12 to 22) and some other generator. - Renovation. Hotel is still under active renovation so in one room we got awfull smell of paint, especially in the bathroom. They also perform some construction in front of the hotel with an excavator from 8:30 to 15:00 daily. To conclude: We would probably visit this place again in a year or two and it should be perfect.
