The facility was good and the pools had many different options for example volleyball or a goal.

The hotel didn’t provide enough amenities. The ocean was low tide during the day so you need to walk far to get to the water. My son got injured on his feet - animation team did not care to find a first aid kit - they told me to go to kids center, I went and the girl showed me the first aid box which literally did not have anything in. She didn’t have a bandage nor she cared to look for one for me. I find the attitude of animation team very discriminatory and not kind.

This was my eighth visit to Stella Makadi Resort & Spa. Everything about the hotel is exceptional the rooms are spotless and comfortable, the food is delicious and varied, and the staff are warm, friendly, and attentive. The beach is stunning, and the snorkeling experience is breathtaking, with vibrant fish and beautiful coral reefs. Special thanks to Mr. Nabil Nageh for his outstanding service and kindness; to Mr. Mohamed El- Assad from the restaurant for his professionalism and warm attitude; and to Ali, along with all the amazing waiters and chefs at the main restaurant, for their wonderful hospitality. I wish I could remember all their names, because every single one of them truly made our stay special. Thanks also to the beach bar staff — Remon, Omar Awad, and Sayed for always being cheerful, friendly, and helpful; and to the lifeguard at the main pool, who kindly looked after my son while he was sleeping nearby; and to Magda, the lady who prepares the fresh bread outside the restaurant her kindness and hard work added a special touch to our stay. and to the housekeeping team for keeping our room spotless and comfortable throughout our stay, and finally, to the lady at the entrance of the buffet restaurant is one of the kindest people we’ve ever met always so pleasant and always smiling. I had a wonderful time, and we can’t wait to come back. We will definitely be returning very soon, Insha’Allah!

The quality of the juices could be better than what we experienced. I noticed some unfair treatment among the children by the person overseeing the mini disco, especially towards the Egyptian kids, which was quite disappointing.

The hotel was very nice, lot of trees, flowers, green grass, every place is clean even the restrooms. We got a very nice and comfortable room with pool and sea view (room 4221). It was just perfect. The room door was quite noisy and hard to close but on our second week they changed the lock everywhere so it wasn’t problem anymore. The airconditioning and TV worked fine, the wifi was also good except that sometimes it was not available during the day. Our room cleaner, Rami from Cairo, was very friendly, cleaned the room and gave us enough shower bath and water every day, many times some surprise towel-animal as well. He did a really great job! Marina, from management team was also very kind, she asked several times if everything is good or if we need anything and helped us with the taxi driver when we checked out. It is not the bigest hotel in the bay, but for us it was more friendly and familiar. The food was good, big selection (meat, fish, salad, pasta, grilled food, fruits and pastries) and every day the dinner was from different countries national dishes, however it was prepared in Egyptian style. The restaurant staff was excellent, they didn’t stop for a second of cleaning the tables or serve you. Beach bar restaurant offers pizza, pasta, sandwich and fruits if you don’t want to go inside for lunch. We tried the italian a la carte restaurant, it’s worth it once, but almost the same dishes and flavours as in the main restaurant. Animation team organized many programs like yoga, water-earobic, dance, waterpolo, volleyball etc. Beach is nice but there are a lot of died coral and shells, you have to walk a lot in the water or on the pier to be able to swim or do some snorkling. However at the end you can see some nice fish. It’s worth to visit any beach of the Mahmya island where the sand is almost white and the sea is beautiful. All in all we had an excellent time in this hotel and Makadi bay!

Little annoying were the guys who came to us every hour (mostly on the first 4-5 days) to sell some extra service (massage, snorkling etc). Wifi connection was broken sometimes during the day

Whether it was the housekeeping team keeping our room spotless, the restaurant staff remembering our favorite drinks, or the activities coordinators ensuring we had fun by the shore, everyone contributed to making our beach getaway perfect. We left the resort not just with beautiful memories of sun, sand, and sea, but also with heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful team who made our stay so special. We need to tarin the customer services especially in the restaurant and over the pool and seaside to better contact and communicate with the clients as they are not considering their way of communication in good way especially for Egyptians. The management is overcoming this in a very good way, Mr Ahmed in the restaurant for example overcome the miscommunication with the service provider and the accountant with me as they were not really considering the main principles for better communication and customer satisfaction. They certainly need more training and feedback from the management for their ProFormance.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The facilities were amazing, and the activities were fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Hassam for the crazy quad ride—it was absolutely thrilling and one of the highlights of the trip! The entertainment team was outstanding; I wish I remembered all their names because every single one of them, from the girls to the guys, made us feel like friends right away. A huge shoutout to Lazis (I hope I spelled his name right), who took us out at night and made sure we were safe and taken care of until we returned. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun—I can't wait to come back!

Hotel area, pools and beach etc. were really nice and clean, that was absolutely the best part.

Food quality and hygiene were poor altough there were lot of variety. They only used 'homemade' local liquors in drinks, nothing imported. Most drinks were pretty afwul, altough the bars where nice. Front desk guys were unprofessional and didn't help with almost anything. They didn't listen to your questions nor answered any of them - guess their english was not very good? Many other employees didn't speak much english either, and weren't very keen to help you. Some waiters and our housekeeping guy were really nice. Hotel taxi was bit expensive but worked well. Room was nice altough old.

Animation music is too loud, staying at our jacuzzi pool was not very calm, the personal is very nice, if you are lucky to be able to make reservations at the 4 restaurants, do it, Italian and Indian in particular are very nice (we seated outside). The main restaurant is OK. Room service and housekeeping is excellent! Evening shows are OK if you like that. Beach is superb, the sea is going very far, but still nice. Diving club is good.

Animation music is too loud, lack of food variety (fish in particular), security personal not very pleasant, but at lest they are very present. Spa could be better.

Fantastic location on the south of Makadi Bay with a huge beach and generous poolside. All inclusive option includes meals at A la carte restaurants twice a week but (very large) main restaurant offerred good variety of tasty foods and I found the middle eastern options particularly good. There is access to the sea via a long jetty for open water swimming and snorkeling. The reef to the south is excellent

This is a big property so a bit impersonal and there are no other local eating options. You would need to taxi anywhere off site
