Centrally located. All facilities inside the apartment- although iron was missing. Secure and safe despite in the midst of the buzz between Sol and Gran Via, extremely close to both metro stations, restaurants, bars and 24hr convenience store. Location can’t be any better in Madrid. The floors were clean. The owner/manager was readily available on WhatsApp.

There is no balcony. Sometimes toilets didn’t flush the tissues. Wasn’t easy to find the property at first but once knew where it was life was easy. Cabs wouldn’t pick up or drop off at the doorstep. No lift and had to climb 3 high floors with cases- no help as property is not manned. The top step of the property on the 3rd floor is higher than the rest- risk of missing and accidental falls especially if not being careful.

The staff were amazing it felt like we were taken care of throughout the whole stay without any intrusion. The apartment is so quite which is a massive bonus considering it’s close to central Madrid strip and where the happening area is, but still down a quite laneway. Very transparent about being on third floor. We were well aware and factored that in we are all fit young individuals.

Although small it still suited our needs and was great value for money. Maybe another mirror in the common area for getting ready as there was three of us? Also, jardine boutiques is the building signage, be mate gran manages third floor? A little confusing but we figured it out 😄 assume it might be for privacy reasons which is very understandable/ equally important.

I really liked the aparment: it was bright, modern and functional. The location was incredibly convenient and the communication with the host was smooth and efficient!

The only issue to signal, as indicated clearly in the advertisement of the property, is that there are quite a few flights of stairs to climb to reach the aparment, which may be inconvenient with heavy luggage (and a few steps are also irregular and a bit slippery, so reaching the apartment was somehow more complicated than I had foreseen, even if the issue was very well indicated in advance!).

Real gem, in my opinion. I stayed in Madrid several times through the years and this had been by far the best place. The unit we stayed in had a kitchenette, separate toilet and the shower/sink rooms, leaving area with couch and table and chairs and a bedroom. A very well designed and with a lots of attention to details. Simple things, such as a new sponge and wash rug and kitchen towel were provided, all packed in a paper bag! Plenary of single use olive oil and vinegar pouches, water, coffee. Really attentive and nice staff. Great location too. I would recommend this place to my friends and would stay there again.

Be aware that confirmation for door codes and entering the building didn’t come through until around half an hour after agreed check in time. This caused some concern as we were not sure of this process. Please confirm this to people going forward so they know what to expect. It was also a bank holiday on the day of our check in and our phone calls were not answered. We eventually received check in details around 30 minutes after our agreed check in time

It is a great location but also it was quiet. The room was modern and very clean. It was compact but it was perfect for our needs. I loved that there was laundry facilities available. the care packages with the tea and coffee and also the cleaning supplies were really appreciated. The staff were so helpful.

I was really happy with the stay. I can’t really complain - I suppose the cracked stone stair in the stairwell should be fixed - it made me a little nervous stepping on it (mainly though as I had a broken arm so I was nervous in general)

Excellent location, next to Gran Via. Very clean and cozy apartment. Apartment was very quiet, no outside noises or from neighbors. Very well equipped kitchen, with lots of utensils. Host constantly communicated with us and asked if everything is okay.

Shower is very bad configured, if you're bigger than a size S you won't be able to enter the shower because the shower door opens inside and leaves no space to enter. The sink in the bathroom is also very difficult to use, being placed very low and with a big faucet in the middle, water splashed everywhere and could not wash my face properly. We stayed for 4 days and could've used a cleaning of our room at some point, as well more toiletries and coffee pods (only one small bottle of shower gel and one shampoo and 2 coffee pods were provided). They ask for a 300 euros warrant deposit that is returned on the checkout day, which is a little bit high on my opinion but I see is a common practice in Madrid.

Location, presentation, cleanliness.

The bed was ok but not brilliant. When my husband turned over at night it woke me as the mattress doesn’t absorb the movement like it does if there is a latex or memory foam layer on the top of the mattress like we have been experiencing on all the other hotel and apartment beds we have stayed in during this 4 week trip around Spain. It is a small observation though as everything else was great and we will recommend to our friends

Great compact unit with everything you need. The location is excellent. The apartments are really clean and well maintained. The apartments are on the 3rd floor, and there is no elevator. If you have a big heavy bag, be prepared to heft it up 60 stairs. Good communication from the manager, Juan. Laundry room for guests was really helpful.

Well insulated, good security and wifi. Responsive staff, off site. The room is quite new in an old building. Three different codes on different doors to get admission.

65 steps up to room. No lift, no staff to assist with luggage. Only for the reasonably fit. I did no cooking but only 1 size of glass for a drink. The internal door is far from soundproof. Several times I was woken by noisy neighbour's conversing outside my room.
