Efficient service once we figured out how to get in (small notice off to the side of the door). Location was close to train station; excellent wine shop & deli with eat in service across the street; great bakery and breakfast/lunch place also just across the street. Room was spacious and clean, shower was good and beds comfortable. We had 2 trying and long days - many hours on a stopped train, then lengthy lines at train stations, all due to the power outage. This accommodation helped us decompress.

Location is superb, you are near all the museums, Madrid sights are also in a walking distance and you are in the center of the beautiful area. Super super clean. You will have daily cleaning of the room and fresh towels without asking. Comfy bed and pillows as well, huge plus!

The sound isolation is a huge problem of this place. Depending of the situation you will hear other guests on the corridor, public cleaning service on the street at 3AM, checking in and outs because the front desk was in front of our doors, renovation works in hostel below us..

Very clean simple room in excellent repair, tall doors open onto small balcony, good AC and hot water. Lift was available and working, if desired (we typically took stairs). True double bed and good mattress. Excellent location in Old City, easy walk to both museums and Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor.

Complimentary toiletries were a little sparten, few creature comforts in room, such as no hot pot for tea or instant coffee. Check in with hosts was on second floor under a different hotel name, a little confusing at first.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and spacious enough for all of our stuff, but the best feature for me is how well located it is. I walk everywhere when I'm on holidays, so this is very important. The shower was great, the lift was a plus, and the staff were very kind when we checked in and when we asked for recommendations.

The pillow was a bit too soft and flat, and the room was cleaned and tidied even when we didn't explicitly request it as per the rules, which wasn't a big deal, but it was unexpected.

Great location in the Las Letras neighborhood. The simple, clean room met basic needs. Good breakfast spot across the street and other restaurant choices. Be aware of the flights of stairs to reach room.

When you arrived at the address, check-in instructions (to call, walk up to second floor and through door, etc) weren't clear, but check-in went smoothly. Towels were clean (and classically dried on interior clotheslines), but a little frayed.

Very good location with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants well within walking distance. Two metro stations are close by but most attractions within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean with comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom and good ‘housekeeping’ service. Our room was up a few flights of stairs but there is a lift - especially useful when carrying luggage. Also the hotel will look after your luggage until it’s time to travel.

As would be expected in a city centre hotel, the street could be noisy at night but with windows closed, air conditioning on and earplugs in, this was a small inconvenience for the excellent location.

There was no correspondence from the management. I tried to book an extra night, but there was no reply. On arrival, I addressed the lack of communication, and the manager told me he does not read the messages on the Booking.com platform! Guests have to contact the hotel on the private number, which we did not have.

My expectations weren’t high when I booked this property. It was a very reasonable price and so I thought it would be average. I was very surprised. The hostel was in a great position. It was very safe. There was a lift so I didn’t have to drag my suitcase up lots of stairs. The person on reception was very helpful. My room was clean and comfortable and had a full length windows and a small balcony. I was happy

The location of this place is beyond perfect. It is in the center, minutes from Sol, parks, stations and supermarket. Just across the front door there was a perfect breakfast place, and plenty of tapas spots. The room was big, with natural light and good air-conditioning for the hot weather. The bathroom also had a window for an even better ventilation. We enjoyed staying here, and would definitely come again. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very good location, nice room for a short stay, was comfortable, no drink making facilities, but everything else in order. Would recommend for a short stay.
