Just as Expected So, I recently stayed at the Ibis Budget Madrid Centro Las Ventas, and it was... well, pretty much what I expected from an Ibis Budget. It wasn't anything fancy, but it did the job. The room was basic but clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. Everything was in working order, no complaints there. The location was actually pretty handy – close to the metro and buses, so getting around was a breeze. Plus, there were tons of shops and restaurants nearby, which was super convenient. The staff were fine, did their thing without any fuss. Overall, it was a perfectly okay stay. If you're looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly option in Madrid, it's a decent choice. Just don't expect to be blown away.

Although the location is on a secondary street, you can access the hotel directly from the main street since there is a pedestrian alley with lights so it is safe. The beds are very comfortable and even though the room is very tinny, it is enough for a short stay. The room doesn't have a hairdryer, however, you can ask at the reception and they will lend you one for free with a previous deposit of 10€ that will be returned when you hand back the hairdryer. The location is perfect since it is near the subway which connects you downtown in just 17min (direct line).

The room was mainly quiet, nevertheless, you could hear the ambulance or police with the sirens when passing by since the hotel is near a busy street.

Good location: approximately 20 minutes to the center of the city by metro, all needed are around (restaurants, shops, etc.) Parking is right under the hotel, so you can park and use elevator to move up to your room. Pet friendly hotel. Good service) Well served breakfast (which is great for the 1* hotel) !

Great location, less than a block from metro station from where you can connect everywhere. Also good cafes nearby. Rooms are enough, I had a two bed room with a bathroom (private) shower and washbasin (in room, with no door to separate from beds) You’ll be busy in Madrid so, not really staying too much in room. Just to sleep, more than enough.

There’s a vending machine, could have more drinks options, but is good.

This is a good hotel for 1-2 nights. It is very close to the 5th metro branch station (just around the corner), which is convenient for getting to the city center. The breakfast is good, too.

There is no fridge in the room. But if you stay for 1-2 nights it is not a big problem. The water can leak from the shower, be careful with that.

Friendly cooperative staff. They were very helpful. Nice quiet place. Good breakfast.

Being budget no frills eg no complimentary water in room, no kettle in room but hot water was available at reception at all times. Dining area for breakfast a bit limited but staff managed it well.

It was a clean room in minimalistic style. Our child loved the bunk bed. Breakfast was good for the price.

The receptionist (lady) at night time on October 23rd was trying to sell to me an adapter for 8Euro, when the next morningI boughtit from them for 3Euro only. The bathroom had an almost transparent glass door, and the toilet had no lock on the door. The room is really small, so there is no privacy whatsoever. Not the best choice if you're traveling with a toddler who likes to open doors.

We arrived quite early but they let us check in, which was amazing for us. And another thing I like is they have their own parking place downstairs (need to reserve on the day of arriving), feel much safer and convenient.

Light in toilet. It turns off every few seconds. And there is a smoke detector, and shining strongly during the whole night, disturbed us a lot. And we got a room with an extra kid bed above, good for family travellers but not us. my head got hit two three times. Pillows are bit soft

You get exactly what they advertise. It is a budget hotel with tiny rooms and that is perfectly fine if you need to spend a couple of nights in Madrid close to restaurants and a VERY CONVENIENT Metro station that will get you everywhere in the city in no time.

The location is great: 150m near metro station "El Carmen", there are several cafeterias and stores in the area; the room was clean, organized, minimalist with the essential; the bathroom was clean; shower was great with hot water.
