Very friendly and helpful staff, clean, no real problems. For the price, given the location and friendly staff, I would stay there again, even though there were some disappointing aspects.

Rooms are small, and the toilet door blocks no noise at all. You can hear everything in the hotel, from conversations in other rooms to when someone on the floor above flushes the toilet. A room with terrace has a terrace that is very open to people in other rooms, and they can even see into your room from their terraces. Also, no view from the terrace at all (not even to the street or backyard, it is a "hole" in the building). The hotel charges to store your luggage for a few hours after checking out (though not when you arrive early before checking in). There was no safe in the room, nor a fridge.

Exceptionally clean, exceptionally helpful staff, parking on site which was reasonably priced, air con was good, shower was wonderful

No family rooms, bathroom was part of the room rather than an en suite therefore no privacy showering, fine as a couple but had to share with my teenage son due to no family rooms and this was not ideal for either of us

Clean, modern facilities. Very good breakfast buffet. Quiet room despite very central location in a traditional, busy neighbourhood of Madrid.

The sound of other guests flushing the toilet (either next door or in the room above mine) was very noisy in my room, to the point that it woke me up several times during the night. Similarly annoying, the toilet smells from other rooms were noticeable in my wet room – something must have gone wrong when the ventilation system was installed. The area just inside the door to the room was very dark. I couldn’t even read the display of the air conditioning, which is not illuminated. I used the torch function of my mobile but even then the temperature setting didn’t seem to respond. When I turned off the noisy temperature control system, it automatically came back on after a few minutes. For the price I would have expected a more polished experience.

The location is Great, Breakfast is Great, Staff is Great , very helpful all around. They got us a taxi quickly to go to the Airport .It is close to many of the great places we wanted to visit in MADRID and to The Atocha train Station. Very pleased.

We were there in two different occasions and the TV channels are not the same from one room to another , but no big deal we have spent most of the time visiting attraction around town all nearby the hotel. Very satisfied with the price,

Location was perfect, next to the metro stop, kind receptionist checked us in earlier than check in time. All hotel was spotless and I actually liked signs encouraging people to utilize a stairs. I would also like to highlight the amount of great places to eat around

I have booked balcony room as I am smoker and you apparently cannot smoke on fresh air. No fridge.

I loved the location. Lavapiés is a great area with plenty going on. It's also so central that I was able to walk everywhere. I liked that there was a big Continente store on the same street as well as plenty of cafés and restaurants. The room was spotless and very quiet. The shower was excellent and the staff at reception were very friendly.

I would have liked a hair drier in the room.

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, the place was very clean and quiet, and the bed was amazingly comfy! We slept so well. The shower was big enough to be comfy and the room had enough shelves for organizing our things.

The bathroom's handwash was very tiny and with not enough space to put our toiletries, our hairbrushes would constantly fall to the ground. The area around the hotel was a little lonely and off beat late at night.

The staff are, like most ibis hotels, exceptionally helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with pretty much everything you'd expect from an ibis. Breakfast is a fairly limited selection, but still pretty decent!

Unfortunately the hotel is located next to a fairly busy street, and even with the windows closed I struggled to sleep. There weren't any noisy pubs or clubs, it was just local Madrid life. If you're not a light sleeper it's probably fine. Coffee at breakfast wasn't the best either, but there are lots of really good nearby cafés :-)

The property was clean confortable, bigger than other ibis budget items stayed in, it was near to a 24 hours open supermarket and just in front of the metro. The hotel das in a place where i could go to El retiro in the morning then on my way to sol i could drop by the hotel to freshen up, great location ! And we walked a lot to many places since we knew that we always are a 30min walk to the hotel or 2 to 3 metro stops!

Since it was near the 24h supermarket and a bar, people stayed late at night, some people might like it, but people who sleep early wouldn’t, the price was a bit on the expensive end, the breakfast was not bad but not good, it was alright.

The room was spacious and modern. It was three blocks from Embajadores train station. Good location to go to main sightseeing places. There was a metro station close by.

I was traveling with my friend and the only thing was that there was no privacy for the bathroom when taking a shower but we made it work.
