Location was good and we were able to walk to Centro easily. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our dinner at the bar one evening was pleasant and food was good. When we complained on our first night about the pounding music above our room, we were immediately told that there is a dance going on and it would go late into the night. The receptionist or manager immediately suggested we changed rooms from 10th to 7th floor and gave us one that was a double bed and had a lovely city view. In addition, they provided us with complimentary chocolates the next afternoon for the inconvenience that caused us as it was almost midnight when we proceeded to change rooms. Well done to them.

As a married couple, we had asked over a month ago for a room on a high floor with a double bed. We agreed to one where the twin beds were together but thought that they had made up the beds to look like a double with a double bedsheet and double duvet cover. Instead they were only physically together. Perhaps they need to rethink this. Also the initial receptionist should have mentioned that although we were on the highest floor, there was going to be a night club above us that will be playing late into the night on the Friday and Saturday nights and giving us the option to choose a lower floor room instead. Anyway, it all worked out well in the end.

The staff was absolutely incredible - they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were genuinely caring and provided excellent recommendations for activities and directions around Madrid. What impressed me most was how sensitive and attentive they were to our needs, even helping my wife overcome her fear of elevators. Their warmth and helpfulness made us feel truly welcomed. The hotel location is also excellent, making it easy to explore the city.

The gym facilities were quite basic and not very luxurious, which was disappointing. Also, the hotel doesn't have a pool, which would have been a nice amenity to have during our stay.

It’s a very good hotel. The location and staff are AMAZING. It’s located near everything, we just needed 3 minutes to be at Gran Via by walking, and 15 minutes to be at Salamanca or El Retiro park by walking as well. Also, you can find a lot of nice restaurants and cafes, so it’s at a GREAT location indeed! Now let’s talk about the staff. In my opinion, they succeeded in choosing their staff. They are really AMAZING, SMILING, HELPING…etc. I really want to thank every one of them, and I can remember some names, Khalid, Javier, and Marco. If I will come to madrid again, I might stay in this hotel again only because of the location and staff.

There are 2 things I didn’t like, I should say that they won’t let me not staying here again, but I will mention them anyway for those who care. First, I was staying at the 1st floor, so I could hear everything from the streets, which was a bit annoying at my first night, because I was tired and couldn’t sleep well. It might be different if my room was at a higher floor. Second, the lighting. It was really bad, like I couldn’t do my makeup very well, and I couldn’t see my outfits on the mirror, so ladies if you have an important day that you need to do a good makeup, then it would be better if you bring a ring light or something else😂, because I needed a good makeup for my brother’s graduation ceremony, but unfortunately I couldn’t made it because of the bad lighting 😔.

The location, situated in a vibrant area with geat access to most touristic attractions, it could not have been better suited for our needs. We found it to be both convenient and picturesque, adding to the overall charm of our visit. Moreover, every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and cared for. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist us with any request truly enhanced our stay. Javier and Mickey left a lasting impression on us with their outstanding service and genuine hospitality. Their attentiveness and warmth made our experience truly memorable. In summary, the setting is absolutely fantastic, combining excellent service with an ideal location to create an unforgettable experience!

The bathroom in the shared rooms featured frosted glass walls, which dramatically compromised personal privacy and made it challenging for occupants to feel at ease while attending to their needs. That created an uncomfortable atmosphere, as one could easily be seen from outside, leaving little room for a sense of security or solitude.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was excellent, close to Gran Via and many other popular attractions. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid!

The breakfast buffet was very limited, and there were not many options for Muslim guests. We had to request special dishes each day, which was a bit of a hassle. I would suggest that the hotel offer a wider variety of breakfast options, including more halal-friendly choices. There were rainbow flags displayed throughout the hotel, which was a bit overwhelming for us as family

the location is perfect for being close to almost everything. the service is top notch. the ambient is very nice.

The rooftop, which claims to be part of the hotel, operates as a private place, open to public. While a I do understand that it's fine I was dissapointed to learn that a few days during my stay it was closed for private events. When we finally went, there was no room for hotel guests or dedicated space, so we decided not to stay since the available places were scare. We decided to stay in this hotel, based on many reasons, being the rooftop one of the them and we were not prior informed of the conditions of the rooftop. Next time, I know that when it comes to the rooftop, it's the same being a guest or not. On a side note, the rooms are on the small side and consider that an upper floor (we were in floor 9) comes with the rooftop noise. The gym is minimal.

I liked the room I was given. It was on a quiet floor and it was a great place to rest after a long journey to get to Madrid. I rented 2 rooms since I was traveling with my adult daughter and her boyfriend. I especially liked the bathroom. I like that the toilet had its own private door. I have actually stayed at this hotel back in 1999 but it wasn't renovated as it is now. I like this hotel because of the location. It was easy to get to the museum row as well as the Puerto del Sol and Plaza Mayor neighborhoods.

I thought the breakfast offering was more expensive than usual so we didn't have breakfast there.

Very central location made is easy to access local bars and restaurants as well as the historic sites. Breakfast was excellent, with freshly squeezed orange juice on tap and a great selection of hot and cold items to choose from. Our room was lovely. It was on the 9th floor so the views over the city were spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset. The bed was super comfy and we both slept very well throughout for 5 night stay.

There was not much to find fault with. We found the rooftop bar a little busy and with pumping music, not the ideal location for a quiet pre-dinner drink, but perhaps it is aimed at a different type of customer. We found plenty of other more relaxed rooftop bars nearby, so this wasn't a drawback for us.

The hotel has an interesting history, which needs to be communicated more. It is conveniently located near the center of the city.

Breakfast needs to be improved, it has variety but lacks an appealing presentation. It can get noisy at night when people meet outside to smoke. The elevator to the terrace needs to be renewed. Business center in noisy and not well lit.
