The hotel is located close to Jefferson County Fairgrounds which we come to visit with our family who are very involved in the livestock showing and inner workings of running the fairgrounds This is a yearly tradition of ours and really appreciate being able to acquire reservations at this facility… Comfort Inn and Suites Watertown 1000 Islands is one of the better hotels for us to stay at… The fact that this property is pet friendly is a huge plus for us as we like to bring our fur babies along with us on our travels The outdoor grassy areas for the furry hotel guests are easily accessed and acceptable with minimal risk of stepping in other furry guests feces(of course there’s always those human guests who are inconsiderate of others by failing to do the decency of removing their pets poop) so you do have to be aware while using the outside grounds The disabled accessibility is acceptable with the elevators being easy access to the upstairs rooms and the disability accessible rooms are adequately setup for disabled guests The indoor pool, exercise room and the free breakfast dining areas are all included and available with your reservation for the duration of your stay… We really enjoyed the free breakfast and want to extend our congratulatory thanks to the breakfast team for being able to keep up with (even an at capacity crowd of guests) the restocking and cleanliness of all areas of the breakfast room

The fact that there are no ground level rooms available for the easier access to disabled and furry guests is mildly inconvenient but the use of the elevators for all of the above ground level rooms makes it quite convenient for everyone to have available easy access to all areas of the building

A great Hotel not too far from the border to spend the night when traveling from Canada into the USA at night. Room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. It meant all of our expectations.

2 things: First, our room description said to queen size beds, we were met with two double beds. Second, This isn't so much on the Hotel amenities but something for the hotel to consider doing. Because other hotels do this. Unfortunately the staff does not walk the hallways at night (after 11pm) to ensure that each floor is respecting quiet time rules. We had a block of rooms of middle-aged women on the 6th floor who acted immaturely by slamming doors and screaming in the hallway waking us up more than once at 1am and 2am. And when you've been traveling all day, the only thing you ask for is a clean shower, a good bed and some peace and quiet.

Loved the location! The room we stayed in was great.. and the breakfast was delicious! All staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful and patient considering the busy weekend they were having. We were in town for a softball tournament, and the place was at full compacity .

Our room seemed very warm.. even with the AC turned way low. The bedroom was cooler.. but it never seemed to make the living area cool at all. We ended up purchasing a couple of fans. Also, the elevator situation was kind of a nuisance.. having just 2 elevators for 6 floors and a completely booked hotel , and it definitely slowed things down. But it would not stop me from returning. Lastly, the ice machines on floors 3 and 6 could use a little upgrade.. every time I used it, it took forever to get the ice out of it.. it could have been bad timing, but again, something to overlook for a future stay.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make all of my family members feel welcomed upon our arrival. The breakfast was delicious, and everyone could find something that they enjoyed. The room was immaculate, and the beds were so comfortable. Ohh, we discovered the lights behind the headboard on our last night! It was so cute and added a little more elegance to the room.

I loved the location.

I did not like the fact that I could not use the pool, as there was multiple kids and adults jumping into the pool. Also, the one father of the children was vaping in the pool area. Which as I am sure it states there is no smoking or vaping inside the hotel. I was more surprised when an employee of the hotel walked into the pool room as the man was vaping and did not say anything. As for the people jumping in the pool they seemed to have stopped when the employee was in the room but continued when he had left. I did not waste my time to tell the hotel at the time as the pool was soon closing and I had a headache after the children were screaming non-stop.

Clean and great amenities from 12pm check out and free breakfast and a pool.

Staff could have been a little more informative at check in. eg. letting us know where pool is and it’s hours, where the breakfast area is and it’s hours. The pool area was full of wet towels and only one clean towel left on a Saturday evening around 7:30. Was there for an hour and no one had come to refresh them.

Spacious rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of towels, free breakfast, friendly staff

Not the hotel's fault but a lot of door slamming from the other guests. There is a very large gap between the door and the floor, somebody could actually look under it it's so big. I shoved a towel in the big gap for privacy and also hoping to muffle the sounds from the hall which didn't really help. Also, it's great being able to adjust my AC but it makes a lot of noise when starting up.

Great location and breakfast was a plus!

Had to wait over ten minutes for someone to get to check in counter Toilet handle was broke had to get up several times to jiggle it bc it ran so loud… but this happens! Only other thing is carpeted rooms are not sanitary anymore would pick a hard floor anytime over carpet

Clean room bright areas decent breakfast pool was closed for maintenance- no advanced warning!!!!

The pool was closed for maintenance which was a very big disappointment as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel! There was nowhere indicating that the pool was closed on the website when we were booking our room & I feel that there should have been a discount for the pool closure!

Breakfast was good quality and variety. Staff was pleasant, welcoming and accommodating.

There were a few guests using the pool each time we went, which was nice. But there were never enough towels provided in the pool area. Even after we went and asked for more, only 3 more were brought, which was still not enough. This happened 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed.
