Everything was perfect — the location is in a great area with plenty of delicious restaurants, shops, and very close to the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are clean and spacious. The air conditioning system is excellent, providing fresh air. I visit Paris from time to time and have rented various apartments and hotels, but this one is simply a cut above the rest. I will definitely add it to my favorites because it’s truly a great place for a reasonable price, with very friendly staff and spotless cleanliness.

No drawbacks at all, only advantages. Perhaps people who are used to checking out at 11 might find it unusual, but here the checkout is all the way until 12, and you can even leave your luggage and explore the city until 11 p.m. — that’s incredible. I just want to add that this is truly a worthy place for a holiday.

Absolute fabulous experience at this hotel and Paris! We didn't know when we booked but this hotel is on a pedestrian cobblestone street with open markets, restaurants, chocolate shops, wine shop, etc. I believe 3 of the restaurants are in the top 10 on Yelp for 3 dollar sign restaurants. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and about 40 minutes to the Champs Elysee, The standard room is a little small (Paris size) so we asked for an upgrade since we were staying 10 nights and they gave us a VERY large room. The entire staff was fabulous, and the hot American style breakfast was fantastic! We got a great restaurant recommendation from the hotel, Bouillon Julien, a metro ride to a place where the locals eat and it was excellent food at a great price! We took a day trip on a motor coach to Normandy which is highly recommended! The museum and cemetery was quite informative and a chilling experience. We have never taken a dinner cruise on vacation before believing it is too "touristy" however we had a great time on the Seine River, the food was excellent and a lot of the sites like Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, etc. were beautiful to see at night.

I really like the location now it was close to a train station near overwhelming amount of people was in close proximity. I was super cute and the window to my room out directly to the Rue Cler which was quintessentially French. I also loved the petite elevator- it was truly one of a kind!

The restroom was super tiny and the water from the shower sometimes drained onto the floor. Also there was no real place to hang dresses since the closet was so short so I had to hang them from the light sconces. I requested a true full size bed but it really was two twins put together. I used the stairs more than the elevator since it was always in use.

Well located and friendly staff, good breakfast with several options. Although the room space is quite small / tight, it is well functional.

Elevator is unbelievable small, it worked for us as we travel only with carry-on but is challenging for large luggage.

The folks at the reception desk were lovely, generous and helpful! We loved our cozy location...no view...but we were okay with that and noticed that there are several rooms with a view and may book one next time...there will definitely be a next time and we will definitely book this hotel again and recommend it to friends! We were obviously very pleased with our experience...and by the way...the location is excellent! Near the Eiffel Tower and so many other amazing sights! Within a few steps of our hotel we were greeted with wonderful restaurants serving scrumptious delicacies! Though we were not able to try them all over the week we were so delighted with the choices we did make!

We were pleased with everything! We could not have asked for more...a superb holiday in magical Paris! We have visited several times but this was our preferred location...and we will be back in a couple of years! Until we meet again...

Our room was large, sparkling clean, fabulous, and very comfortable. In Paris, we always stay at the Grand Hotel Leveque because of the safe area, quality of the hotel, plentiful breakfasts, excellent hotel staff, and location with many restaurants on Rue Cler where the hotel is located. The man who checked us into the Grand Hotel Leveque was wonderful. I misplaced his name, but I request that the hotel management look up his name and praise him for his exceptional service and directions to the historical sites in Paris. Also, the man who checked us out was Hossam, and I request the hotel management to praise him for his exceptional service, too!

Smart hotel with nice simple design, large windows looking out over the street in our room and a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. we had a double bed and a single in the room for our 5 year old. comfortable beds and room big enough to rest in after walking round Paris. near to the tower and the river boats. Didn’t take the breakfast but it’s set in a quiet street with lots of cafes. Generally a really nice neighbourhood that doesn’t feel like a tourist trap, while having everything a tourist needs.

The shower dribbled water onto the bathroom floor but otherwise non issues. If you don’t like stairs you might ask to go on a lower floor.

Booking was made on the day while travelling to Paris. Helpful, welcoming and friendly staff with delicious complimentary croissants on arrival. Hotel is in a great location near Eiffel Tower and close to restaurants. Small room and bathroom but clean with great hot shower. Tea, coffee facilities in room with complimentary bottles of water. We were on 5th floor and there is a one person lift. Breakfast was very good. They stored our bags after checking out while we explored the sights. Very happy one night stay.

Just a very small room, no view but a window to open and tiny bathroom but satisfactory.

Exceptional service! My luggage got stolen at the train station and my medication was in the bag. The hotel found me a doctor, stayed on the phone line for over an hour while they put us on hold. Also, they personally walked me over to the pharmacy so I could get my prescription! The neighboorhood is perfect for families - next door to grocery stores, lots of cafes and (and STARBUCKS! IF YOU NEED ICE!) with great takeout options, and most importantly 10-15 minute walk to the Eiffle Tower.

Rooms are small! So email the hotel and let them know exactly how many people are coming so they can recommend the right room. Their standard room really only fits one person. We upgraded to a suite and it fit our family perfectly.

The hotel was fantastic, from the staff to the room to the location. I've stayed on Rue Cler before, but this is the best hotel with great value for money. The staff at the hotel (front desk, cleaning) were very accommodating, helpful and were happy to be there. The room was Parisian small, but that's expected in Paris. The hotel has a small lift suitable for 1 bag and 1 traveler, but beats taking bags up the stairs. The location cannot be beat - close to Tour d"Eiffel and metro station (but of course, Paris is for walking). The street itself is very lively, with grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and shops - very much for the locals, but welcoming to tourists. If you stay at this hotel, you won't be dissapointed.

Nothing, to be honest. We didn't take part in the morning breakfast, as it should be enjoyed in a neighbourhood cafe.
