The staff, location, and room were outstanding, making my stay truly enjoyable. The area is incredibly convenient, with everything you could possibly need just steps away.

I could easily hear when people were coming in and out of their rooms, which felt a bit unsettling at night. Additionally, there was some noise from outside, which is to be expected in le Marais—a vibrant and lively area. While it did wake me up once, it’s part of the charm of staying in such a bustling neighborhood. If you're seeking complete silence, this may not be the ideal spot, but it offers an authentic Parisian experience.

There are a lot of young men just hanging out on the street. They were there from day until way into the night and sometimes talking loudly. No one approached or bothered us, but it was unnerving. I don't think a single woman would feel safe.

The location is perfect. right next to a metro. About 30-40 minute walk to many of the Parisian attractions (but you could also use the metro and bus). It is in a great area for getting food in the evening, in a very busy neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants (which meant it felt very safe at all times). We didn't have any breakfast so can't comment on that. It is right across from a supermarket (and there are loads in the area also) if you prefer to get your own lunches. The sweets by the door are a lovely touch.

There was some road noise, as it is a busy road, but it did not affect sleep too much, but you could hear the occasional ambulance or police passing. The room is small but not uncomfortably so, and is what would be expected in a Paris central hotel.

It’s an amazing location where you get access to the main touristic attractions in Paris. I’d like to mention as well that the hotel staff is very approachable and friendly. They are proactively care of your stay. The room service is also good. The heating worked well and it was a rare time when I didn’t get cold. I liked the most the fact that the gym is open 24/7.

We did an extra payment for a room with balcony and we got it, however, the facilities like a table and 2 chairs were not usable. There were not some basic sets for bathrooms like toothpaste. I didn’t get how to connect my phone to tv but it’s not a big deal for sure.

I particularly loved the bathroom in this room. My daughter and I chose to have what I would call a "split queen" (two beds) and they were very comfortable. But the bathroom was great! The "tile" was in a wood pattern so it looked like wood. This was very attractive. Also, the shower head was a "rainforest" shower (from the ceiling) which was INCREDIBLY fantastic since I am 6'1" tall! In France I have often had to "bend over backwards" to get my hair washed! I loved our room - it overlooked the street. There is a fantastic cafe across the street (best french onion soup and also hamburger I have had), plus next door a pizza place where the pizza is "magnifique"! You are very close (around the corner) from the Metro. I also felt safe in the area. We did not purchase the breakfast for every day, though we did have it on 2 days of our stay (we were at the hotel for 12 days). They do a GREAT job. (but La Mie Caline - around the corner - has lovely pastries!) We even received a thank you note from the management with *amazing* Odette treats! If you look at my photos they are all of food LOL! We didn't take any photos of the hotel itself or our room. Sorry about that. If you happen to want a blow-by-blow of our trip, I blogged every day at BeABondGirl.com - including links and history to where we went and what we did :-)

We had some trouble with the coffee machine in the room, though it was fixed. We also had an issue where a few times the room was not made up, perhaps because it was on the end of a corridor. But these are very small problems.

Pretty reception, warm and welcoming. I was really impressed with my room. Lovely large, comfy bed. Beautiful bathroom with an amazing shower and lovely smelling shower wash, hand wash and lotion Cute little balcony. The room was compact but all that I needed. Plenty of outlets for devices The TV was disappointing but thankfully I took a tablet with me Check in and out was really easy and the staff super friendly

The neighbourhood was a tad scary but it’s busy so I felt safe enough It is right by the metro which is handy. The only slight disappointment was as a solo traveller I wasn’t confident stopping for a drink after walking around all day so as the hotel had a honesty bar I thought I’d have a little nightcap Except - no wine at all. Sacrilege in Paris , so I went without but I think they’re missing a trick not having any wine

It was comfortable and they upgraded my room! - the view was stunning and the I really loved it. Location was just wonderful! The staff went over and above for me, and they truly are eco - friendly with free water (cold, sparkling & Temperate! Always a plus!

The rooms were small but that is okay. They have a ton of used adapters (obviously people left them behind) and they let you use it for free but if you want to take one along with you as you check out it is 30 Euros (absurd). They did not have enough free toiletries, but I understand they are trying to be very eco - conscious.

We spent two nights at the Hotel Marais Grand Boulevards. Cannot fault the hotel. It was spotless, rooms extremely comfortable and staff helpful and friendly at all times. The location is superb for visiting Paris, either by foot with an easy walk to the Louvre, Chatelet and Ile de la Cité but also right beside a metro station at the Strasbourg-St.Denis stop which meant travelling around was easy. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Paris. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location, the staff the room were all very good. There are so many amenities close by and in walking distance. The tube station is like a 3-5min walk depending on which one you use. It is a major connecting hub to all tourist attractions where you can connect to the secondary tube line if needed.

There is always a lot of people across the road that are standing there and sometimes you feel uncomfortable however this is not always the case. Due to the Olympics there is a lot of police travelling up and down the road so you hear the sirens throughout the day and night.

Overall, good experience. Lots of restaurants nearby, safe part of the city, decent walking distance to and from the Adidas Arena.

For the size of the room, even though the location was fantastic, the price may have been a little too high. Also, I wasn't able to figure out the coffee machine. That part was probably my fault. They didn't give me wifi or gym info at check-in or in an email, but I could've asked the staff at any time, as they worked 24/7.
