Great welcome from staff, clean room, and felt safe during the night due to extra security in place. The location is convenient, close to restaurants and main train stations.

The entrance and exit to the carpark as a pedestrian can be a challenge if you check out and don't have a card to go back via normal route through the hotel. We paid for the parking separately, and we had to walk through the car exit way, which might be unsafe if cars drive out at the same time. However, overall, it wasn't busy, so we didn't really have any problems during our stay.

Room was immaculate

Staff not that friendly on initial entry or at breakfast. I booked well in advance and after deliberating about the option of non refundable or refundable for my booking I chose refundable. On the day of my visit I was told the option I chose did not qualify for breakfast which I thought I did. Could the booking.com make the breakfast details really clear as they took this away in my refundable option which was the next option to the refundable room never mind the various room size and bed arrangement options too.

Room was great clean and tidy, robes, complimentary hot and cold drinks (usual tea coffee, water and Pepsi) and snacks (biscuits, crisps and Milky Way) were a lovely added touch to the room after a long day traveling and exploring on arrival, toped off with a hot bath to sooth our aching muscles, Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner, Obviously hand wash and hand cream. The children’s key card is another lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious, we even had an evening meal of pizza and a burger. As I was traveling with my 8year old we could have shared the pizza and saved a few quid. Children do eat free but the children’s menu is limited and nothing she fancied. Location to Regents St makes it quick and easy to access all the tourist hotspots. We were tourists and used the big B open top bus to explore with the nearest stop on regents street 10min walk away. Sainsbury’s local just around the corner and a Nando’s. Usually taxis outside the hotel. Over all we had a great stay and felt safe as a single mother with my daughter we would definitely return. I had a fantastic stay. The manager went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable. I misplaced my phone charger, and the hotel manager personally offered me a spare, saving me a lot of trouble. It was a busy weekend with a marathon event happening in the city, yet they kindly granted me an extra hour for checkout, which I truly appreciated. On top of that, the breakfast was absolutely top-notch — fresh, delicious, and with a great variety of options. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Everything was good

Upon arrival we were greeted and helped by a friendly receptionist (Charlotte) who gave us some excellent dinner recommendations. Our room was clean, stylish and had a huge TV & tea and coffee facilities. The beds were comfortable and clean and the room was warm but not too hot thanks to the AC. On the whole very quiet and peaceful considering you are so close to other flats, shops and the tube. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options and tasted very fresh. The restaurant is immaculate and staff were on hand to help. Great location for exploring and the tube is less than a 10 min walk away. Couldn't recommend this hotel more and I am looking forward to booking again in the future.

All in all very pleasant stay. The location was great, just a few minutes walking from a station on the Circle tube line, and a bit further from several other lines. Walking distance to several areas of interest. Breakfast was very good, lots of hot and cold options. Room was quite comfortable: nice beds, good shower. Generally very quiet.

Room/bathroom was a bit small for comfort, and view out the window into a concrete courtyard was underwhelming. Seemed a bit expensive (though may be typical for London.) Otherwise no real complaints.

The location was excellent. Our room was an average size and quite nice. Housekeeping kept the rooms spotless. Water and snacks were replenished on a daily basis. The buffet breakfast was great and had excellent options including English breakfast. The host/hostess were always welcoming and the staff all very pleasant and accommodating. We had dinner one evening at the restaurant - food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The seating spaces in the lobby area and also by the dining room are very inviting and comfortable.

You were not able to use the hairdryer in the bathroom which had the best lighting. My wife had to dry her hair in the bedroom/desk/sitting area and the lighting was very dim and the space not ideal for that purpose.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We booked 2 rooms (My husband and I and another room for my 2 daughters). The front desk made sure the rooms were next to each other so it was easier for us. We had forgotten the keys of our luggages and they have a maintenance worker who is always there if you need assistance with anything. He was able to open our luggages for us. The hotel is located 15 -20 min walk to restaurants and many options to choose from. The rooms were clean, tidy and we were lucky to have complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend the hotel if you are looking for something more affordable but still worth the money. Big thank you to Estrella who helped us with our 10 luggage!! She is very kind.

Bathroom is a bit small.

I was looking for a hotel not far from St Pancras station and all what I could find was really disappointing. Moving away a little, I found the Holiday Inn Express and it really was a good choice : - the services of a grand hotel (large lobby, many employees at the reception - a special thanks to Charlotte, very efficient… ) - a very comfortable room, with a large desk, an armchair, a top clean bathroom (I asked to change to be on the inner courtyard, without the noise of the street, even if traffic is limited). - a rich and varied breakfast, also with numerous staff (what isn't often the case in France, especially in hotel groups).

Two regrets : - the windows of the room can’t be wide open. - the music everywhere in the common areas not particularly pleasant to listen to ; tiring.

On arrival the lobby looked really bright and inviting, which set the scene. Staff were super friendly and helpful, room was immaculate and warm. Great Portland St tube station was 2 mins on foot away and walking to Oxford Street/Soho was about 18 mins. Because of the location, we walked everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast was varied my niece, who I'd taken away loved it. It's not my normal type of beakfast but because of the variety, I was able to find something. The room had a coffe machine, which was a nice surprise. I'd definitely stay again. My first time in a Holiday Imn.
