Fantastic location , walkable , plenty of restaurants near by . We recently stayed at this hotel during our visit from America, traveling with my older parents, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience — especially thanks to the exceptional care provided by the hotel manager, Andrew. From the moment we arrived, Andrew went above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were met. He was incredibly patient, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm and genuine smile. Traveling with elderly parents can sometimes come with extra challenges, but Andrew made sure everything went smoothly, taking the time to personally check in on us and assist with anything we required. His kindness and professionalism truly set him apart, and I sincerely hope the hotel recognizes what an asset they have in him — he is a shining example of outstanding customer service. We are a well-traveled family, having stayed in hotels all over the world, and I can confidently say that the individual care we received from Mr. Andrew was truly exceptional and rare to find. I would also like to commend the rest of the staff, from the front desk team to the breakfast crew, who were equally outstanding. They handled everything with patience, efficiency, and a smile, making us feel so welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Thank you to Andrew and the entire team for making our trip so memorable — I will most certainly return with my wife and kids and highly recommend this hotel to others!

a few staff really have difficulty understanding the basics of english communication when taking breakfast orders. We ask them to check on a latte we ordered previously, but they came back with 2 latte instead. But they were still courteous.

Housekeeping was a little sub par- tea box was empty on arrival , make up smudges from previous guest on the wall, cups overlooked , dust in some places and creased pillow cases despite room being made up. These oversights prevented it from being what could have been an exceptional stay.

The staff are amazing .. although i didnt get the twin bed room only on my last 4 days … location was great… the lobby and the photo both was a lovely add to our stay … and the welcoming smile from all staff 👍

The rooms were small .. the bed was a queen bed so also a bit small … The cleaning was not on point they had to be reminded about towels as they forget to put them and shampoo wasn’t refilled although i asked several times until the front desk came by himself and brought it to the room… some of the towels were a bit worn out need changing … the door leading to the elevator area can be designed better with a lovely decorative style

(location: Perfect/ Staff: friendly, helpful /Cleanliness: Great ) The receptionist (whose name I cannot remember) was helpful and friendly. He gave us the available room before check-in time at no charge. Very friendly, and the day after, he changed our room to a better option. They put a gift for us in our room. overally the staffs are very friendly and helpful( except the breakfast area manager :)) ) They are a very attentive staff. Care about your requirement. The room is clean. The bed is comfortable. Complimentary water every day in your room is a big bonus.

The room amenities are not charged every day; they put them in once, and that's it (such as shower caps and cotton buds). The breakfast is fresh, but limited options. The hot dish you should order is one dish from their menu. And you cannot modify it based on your requirements (but it has excellent quality). And I used to have my tea with a cookie after breakfast, but the manager over there doesn't let me bring my cup of tea and a cookie out of the breakfast area.(she told me ok in the first day but the next day she asked me to leave my cup of tea and a piece of cookie, then left! Very unprofessional behaviour!

The breakfast was excellent! And the breakfast staff was kind and welcoming. The room was comfortable and nicely renovated. Location is perfect!

The staff at front desk were grumpy and felt like they were avoiding us. The hotel bar service was very slow and bad. as if they don't want customers. And when we arrived we didn't have the baby bed in our room (although I emailed them before and said we will have a late check in and wish for the bed to be ready) and then they brought a bed with no sheets or mattress. The day after they fixed it (because I asked again) but didn't seem to care much.

Excellent location in a good area close to good restaurants and Oxford Street shopping. 5 minutes from Bond Street underground. Not a large hotel but comfortable rooms and amenities. The hotel and our room was very clean. The best part was the exceptional staff. Every staff member was friendly, helpful and genuinely seemed happy in their duties. Checking in was a breeze and the breakfast staff were so engaging and nothing was a problem. I wish I had taken names to mention staff who went above and beyond but the reception manager who booked us in and the restaurant manager just excelled at their jobs and were both assets to the company.

The only downside, for us personally, was the fact that the rooms only had showers and not bath tubs. To be fair, Booking.com advertised the rooms as having bath tubs but following the Welbeck having a complete renovation and showers replacing tubs, the fault was with Booking.com not updating their discription and not the Welbeck itself.

The hotel and rooms look great and are clean. While we were down, it was roasting hot, but the air-conditioning made the room cool and easier to sleep! Staff were always friendly and helpful, filling up our water bottles for us each morning and allowing us to store our baggage for a few hours after we checked out. The location is excellent, in my opinion, there are plenty of bus links nearby as well as underground stations. Lots of nice little shops and cafes about, and not far from Regents Park, which is beautiful. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so I can't comment on that.

No non-dairy milk offered in the fridge/tea caddy. We went and got some in a little jug from reception but would be nice to have the option already in the room.

The staff was super welcoming and helpful. They explain everything clearly and they were very attentive and always held the door open for me and other guests when they saw us. The room and bathroom were both very clean (they cleaned the room everyday), they provide slippers and there's also an air conditioner. They provide you with several cans of water everyday, also tea and coffee for no extra cost! When I had problems sleeping in the first room because I was next to the fire door which closed really loudly, upon request I was immediately given another room with no extra costs! I was really grateful for that.

There is soundproofing, but you can still hear through the walls. It is an old building after all. But this also depends on your neighbours. Mine were super quiet except for the last night, where I had people in the room next to mine talking until 3am. But since it was my last night anyway, it was no big deal. There was some limescale buildup in the kettle and I wasn't fully drawn to using it after seeing that.
