Comfortable , fantastic staff, great location. Easy to check in and easy access 24/7 with a key code. Rooms are air conditioned , with plenty of towels and toiletries. Kettle and tea and coffee provided, no decaf options or water. Fabulous artisan market on a Sunday in the street.

Needed an iron in the room, fridge, decaf coffee and tea. There are no lifts so bear this in mind, lots of stairs. If you're booking at a weekend be mindful it is only the bar staff on hand to assist. We needed a plumber and an electrician and had to move rooms as no one available to sort the faults. The staff were excellent however.

Much bigger room than expected, lovely big comfy, firm bed. Amazing water pressure so the shower was amazing. Soooooo quiet!! I stayed in the Turin room, top floor at the back of the property so didn't hear a single bit of street noise.

Ok so before the following...these will not stop me from visiting again...they're just some tweaks that the hotel needs to fix. The air con didn't work which wouldn't be an issue normally but it was a warm one when I stayed. I would have opened a window for some fresh air but that was stuck shut so no air con of fresh air! The TV didn't work either. The lady who showed me mentioned about someone fitting an aerial but didn't see the point as I only really chuck the TV on in the morning with a cuppa! Temperature tap was stuck, took some slight man handling to get it to move as initially all I could was scolding hot water! So...tweaks/updates needed, nothing major!

Lovely room above a pub in a great area close to both Baker street and Bond Street stations and wonderful Marylebone area. Staff were responsive and helpful when I had any questions face to face.

Because there is no breakfast available, it would have been nice to have a proper coffee machine to make a good coffee first thing in the morning. Tried repeatedly to ring the contact number and email beforehand to see if I could drop my luggage earlier in the day. No response whatsoever, even booking.com could not reach them at all. In the end I just turned up and it was okay.

Location is top. On sunday there is a farmers' market in the street. The room was the penthouse room and very modern spacious for London standarts with coffee maker, coffee, waterboiler, microwave. Also a desk and a full bed.

The room I got was the room on the highest level. There are a lot of stairs and no elevator. First impression: hotel rooms above a popular english pub but that turned out to be no problem at all. As Europeans, we are not used to have hotel accomodation above a pub.

The room was very clean and very quiet. The bathroom was bright, and hot water was immediate. There was a good sized closet with plenty of room to hang things. Coffee/tea set up with cookies too. Nicely decorated, and a very comfortable bed.

It was fine for me, but there is no elevator, so this could be an issue for some folks. The only place to leave luggage after check-out was at the bottom of the stairs. Would be nice if there was a room to store them so they wouldn’t be in the way of folks trying to go up and down the stairs. But these are both minor issues. We were very pleased with our stay and would happily return.

Very clean, wonderfully comfortable bed, extremely quiet even though the room was located only 2 floors above the busy bar and the noisy patrons enjoying themselves on the street below. Very nicely appointed room, including the bathroom except I could not get a signal on the TV during the 3 night stay.

The room was serviced after the first night but not after the second night. This would have been nice as there were used teacups, and it would have been good to have had the teas etc replenished. Not a biggie

Great location , clean room handy for Marylebone registry office . Everything was to our liking . Shown to our room by a pleasant staff member but other than that didn’t see anyone .

The price was expensive for a pub room . We were there for 2 nights and it would have been nice to have the tea facilities topped up mid stay for that price . There was nasty damp smell in the bathroom .

perfect location in the middle of Marylebone. A stone throw away from shops,cafes and restaurants. Room size really great for London. Room was super quiet and park facing. Value for price was excellent. Would absolutely reconsider booking Gunmakers. Check-out was super easy...just had to drop the key in the key-box.

although it was stated on the front door that as of 11am the luggage can be stored we could not get hold of anyone. We tried to call several times until we finally were successful and could leave our suitcases.

We love this place! It’s the second time my daughter and I stay here. We came back for the perfect Marylebone location and the pretty and clean rooms. This time we met the new manager Blair and the lovely Jonathan who work in the bar and who both are just the sweetest hosts to all the people living at the hotel and to the locals popping in! 10/10 for a hotel experience with a lovely vibe! Also: the guy that met us at reception when we arrived carried all our heavy luggage (my daughter’s moving into a student house stuff) up to the room and the sweet cleaning personnel carried it all back down again when we were leaving! Very grateful for that.

Nothing to fault

Really enjoyed our stay, the staff were lovely and friendly, gave us all the information we needed. Could see we were in town for a concert and made sure to wish us a good time, room was good size, comfortable, nice smelling products to use in the bathroom. We were also given a discount to use at nearby spots for a bit of breakfast.

Only thing that would have made it 10/10 would be the ability to have breakfast at the hotel, but understand they only did lunchtime and evening food, I believe. But it was definitely a nice touch to give us a discount to get breakfast elsewhere. So not really much to dislike here!
