The location was perfect for us. Reasonable price and we were upgraded to a larger room at the back. The hotel was like a stately home owned by a lord who had fallen on hard times. It certainly had character.

No breakfast. The air con unit was rubbish it was free standing, pushed out cold air at the front and hot air from the back, equalling no change in temperature, just noise. The hot air is meant to be ducted outside.

I chose this hotel because it was very near where I needed to be. It was comfortable, quiet and pleasant. Unbeatable for the price...

We had a nice stay which is near to the Oxford street and Baker street. The personel was very friendly and they made our stay easy. The rooms were clean.

The hotel is a bit old, but not dirty. Baths are small and no lift is available for higher floors.

Very lovely staff and great for location as wasn’t a far walk from station! I had a lovely double bed too!

There was no bath mat when I got out the shower so nearly slipped on the tiles! Other than that was a gorgeous stay!

It’s kind of basic when you walk in but I stayed in Room 1 top floor on my own. It was really clean and lovely big window with sunshine .

we were in a room at the top of the house which was nice but not if you had mobility issues- we were fine but not suitable for those who can’t walk up many stairs

Excellent location. Near tube station. Near to everything! I read bad reviews but it was actually a really great hotel. The only bad thing was that my room was up MANY flights of stairs, and no lift!

I would have liked a bar.
