Location of room, at back of hotel don't know if adjoined hotel or seperate property but our room window was directly with property, and you could here everything talking etc, which for how long was in room didn't matter,but last evening at about 1230am swearing and argument could be heard then again 3am but shouldn't of been in this hotel was booked for montcalmsuites had upgrade

It was an ideal location for the visit, Rooms are a good size with a large on suite bathroom with a bath (always a bonus these days). It was also surprisingly quite, although there is no lift just stairs. The reception staff couldn't be more helpful, especially when told we we would need to change hotel, after explaining our reasons for booking this location, the receptionist took about 10 minutes to sort out the problem

We had room 12 which meant a lot of stairs, not the best thing for anyone with mobility issues

Excellent location for Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Really clean, comfy beds and good quality toiletries provided. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Would be good to explain when booking that check-in is at a different address to the actual building the room was in. Not too far away but after a long journey woud have been easier if we had known in advance.

The staff was great. I ran into a few problems from my formal reservation; the guy at the desk was rude and I couldn’t make my way to the top of the building so paid him the one night and cancelled the rest and ran into other issues.So had to book another place at the last minute. My credit card got blocked because of travel and I had no way to call them. They made the call for me and everything was all settled. The guys went above and beyond for me in my moment of despair. I don’t know why their ratings are so low but I believe I also got a really good price through Booking.com

There are lots of reviews on how bad the hotel is, but for me it was excellent. I booked a deluxe double and there was plenty of room, the bathroom was clean, well stocked with towels and products and the shower was excellent. The air con didn't initially seem very cold, but I switched it off and back on and then it did get cold. The reception member of staff was really nice and honestly had no issues with the room. I am not sure if it would be the kind of hotel for a holiday week as a couple but as a solo traveller, staying for one night, it was spot on. I have stayed at a lot worse places. A bonus was that the room included a well stocked cooked and continental breakfast which was just a 30 second walk at their sister property. A special mention for the bed. It was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, hotel or not.

It does not have a lift, but there isn't a way I could see they could have one, so being on the top floor was a bit of huffing and puffing to get there. When I arrived though there was another member of staff that offered to take my bag up. I was very British and said I would be fine, but regretted saying that! As mentioned in other reviews there is a bit of tidying up in places, but unless you go round with a fine tooth comb then it really didn't bother me.

The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure I had an enjoyable birthday by decorating the room and leaving complimentary fizz and birthday cake! Really nice touch. They put us in a large room too.

Tiny bit of noise from upstairs room and bathroom very small.

I was travelling to see Guns n Roses in Hyde Park so just a one night stay. If that's what you're looking for, can't recommend enough. Great staff, small room but everything you need. Quiet hotel so not woken up by other people stomping around at 6 in the morning. 5 minute walk to Hyde Park and nearest tube. Can't complain at all 👍🏻

The mini-fridge in the room smelled a little funky and was barely cool, let alone cold, with no way to lower the temperature. I'm just being picky. For a one night stay I couldn't recommend enough. Great staff, great location, great price.

Great location and spacious clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a helpful microwave and water heater with a little sink for preparing a quick snack or a hot drink.

No elevator and narrow stairs. Furnishings were a little tired.

There was lots we liked about this hotel. It was a great price for a larger suite, great location, quiet, staff were very very welcoming and the room was clean and comfy.

If I had to think very hard about anything at all, there was no hand-wash in the bathroom
