Location was excellent... could walk to all the major shopping areas... the street that the hotel was on was quiet at night for a peaceful sleep

Basement room that they checked us in on the 1st night was not good. The room were too small & the window was tiny as well. But they manged to move us to a room on level 3 the next day that looks like the photos advertised on their website.

Location: Quiet street,Ideal for Hyde park (purpose of our visit).5 mins walk to Marble Arch and Oxford St.A few good pubs and restaurants nearby.

Room was small and a little noisy,mentioned this to the staff on reception and we were moved to a much bigger and quieter room.Excellent,prompt action by all concerned

I was a bit concerned about the hotel after reading a lot of bad reviews however you can't always rely on these and as I found out it's not a bad place to stay. Close to Oxford Street and Hyde Park so if attending a concert it's a great spot. OK it's probably not 5 star rating and my room in the basement was small but it was clean and had all the necessary amenities and if you're just using it as a place to sleep, it's perfect. The hotel staff very friendly and helpful

Air con was on when I arrived so room was already quite chilly but was easy to turn off once I located the control panel. Curtains need attention as don't pull Al the way across but that's my only bad comment

Very helpful staff especially Maxim Sourab. Very attentive and polite. The parking that we booked was literally around the corner and a 2 minute walk. It was our honeymoon and they decorated the room lovely and gave us complimentary processo, fruit and chocolate cake which was a lovely surprise when we entered the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the blackout curtains were great!

The room seemed a little outdated and a couple of things could have been improved, such as bath room seals, a few dips in the flooring and the lighting in the bathroom. The associated bar and restaurant was in a different building across the road.

We got upgraded to The Montcalm.. The location is absolutely brilliant and walking distance to alot of places. We had two connecting rooms so were very comfortable in there. The toilets had a hose for washing so that was a bonus!

The rooms and facilities could have been cleaner. The kettle, teacups, and teaspoons didn't look very clean so we did not use them. Many things were quiet dusty and housekeeping wasn't consistent, for example, one day they would leave a water bottle and other days they would forget, or they would remove 4 of our towels and only return 3. Tissue box wasn't provided and then suddenly one day it was added to our room.

We decided to indulge ourselves with a break and planned a nice night out just for the two os us... and couldn't say anything but what a great idea. Hotel staff was really kind and friendly, and when talking about our stay there, we were gifted with an upgrade from our room to the WOW Suite... the name is fairly accurate indeed. Our weekend has been memorable, we cannot find enough words to say thanks, it is sure we have found our place for any future break. Thanks so much, you have made our weekend really special.

The location was good. The reception and dining room staff were cooperative and helpful. Breakfast was good. We were given complementary fruit basket and a bottle of bubbly on arrival. Which was a nice gesture. We will Will stay at the hotel again when we return to UK.

I would like to point out 4 things. 1. It is not a 5 star hotel, maybe 4 stars would be more appropriate. 2. The housekeeping staff used our used towels to clean the toilet seat, floor and shower cabinet in the bathroom, which was absolutely disgusting. When asked, they responded that it was standard practice in the hotel. 3. At breakfast the milk for the cereals always had to be requested. I wonder why it was not kept with the other breakfast items. 4. On our third (and final) day the elevator went out of service at about 7.00 pm. It was still not fixed at 11.00 pm when we returned to our room on the fourth floor.

My partner and myself stayed for valentines. The room was set up beautifully with rose petals, towel swans, chocolate covered strawberries and Prosecco. My partner had requested this as a surprise for me and they made it perfect. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The room was lovely and clean. Very cosy. Perfect size room for two people. Toiletries were provided and plenty of clean towels etc. We would 100% stay here again! It was wonderful.

The location of the hotel for attending a gig in Hyde Park couldn’t have been better and the staff at the hotel were lovely too and very helpful. The rooms were a good size and beds very comfy too.

It seemed we ended up in the sister hotel to the one we actually booked and although I think this was technically an ‘upgrade’ it was rather confusing. Our booking had two rooms and only one was transferred to the sister hotel which meant there was quite some delay in getting the second room moved over too although the staff were were attentive in getting this resolved, it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. One other minor point is that the quality of cleaning could be improved and standardised. In one our our rooms, more attention to details like cleaning of the shower screens and vacuuming would give this hotel 10 out of 10.

The Marble Arch Staff is amazing and we'd like to thank them endlessly for their extreme care and attention which made our stay unforgettable experience! At first we were in a room at the 4th floor which was quite tiny for our 1 week stay (eventhough comfortable for a short stay), but after asking at the reception to change it for a bigger room, we were offered a nice, very spacious room on the 1st/ground floor, facing the street with tall windows - very romatic and comfortable. Both rooms had very very comfy beds, clean and spacious bathrooms with a great shower pressure and all necessary bathroom amentitities. In the rooms there were also a small minibar, wardrobe, chairs and table - everything needed for comfortable and relaxing short or longer stay, The daily cleaning service was also very, very good. But the true gem of the hotel is undoubtly the hotel STAFF! Everyone from the staff was always very kind and helpful, very attentive, smiling, and they made us feel at home! I even had my birthtday during our stay, and the staff prepared for us an amazing surprise with a bed of roses, balloons, sparkling wine and small cakes for the occasion, which was so heart-welming! Thank you dear all! You really made my day so special! The breakfast is one of the best in London - don't think to opt it out - it is very ample, with many fresh ingredients, and again very nice staff serving you! The location of the hotel is No1 - right at the edge of the Oxford Street and Marble Arch, 1 min from the Marble Arch underground station and the many bus stations around. The hotel is surrounded by a very quiet and romantic residential area with cute caffes and small restaurants, and 5 min away starts the Paddington area with great Lebanese and Asian kitchen restaurants, overall a great base for London exploration - at the same time being at the heart of the city and in a quiet and safe area, for an unbeatable price!

Everything was amazing! Don't trust bad reviews in Google, better contact the hotel managers directly if you have special requests! The staff will try to help you and make your stay amazing! Thank you once again, Marble Arch Hotel!
