The hotel is in an excellent location convenient for all public transport. Getting around is fairly easy from here. The bed was really comfortable and the room valeted each day. Good powerful shower.

While all the facilities were there, the room we had was cramped, especially the bathroom. I have included a picture of the gap between the loo and the sink with my uk size 8 in frame for scale.

I chose the hotel for the location - close to Regents University where I was attending a weekend course. It was not expensive for London. It was a small room but had everything I needed as I was only there to sleep really. The bed was really comfortable and spotless bed linen. Shower room spotless. Water very hot! It was pretty quiet except for someone who was a rather heavy footed in an adjoining room the first night. OK once they went to bed! It was warm even with the radiator off so I opened the window until I went to sleep and during the next day. Helpful staff.

I recently stayed at the Rate Regency Hotel Westend for one night during my trip to London, and I had an excellent experience. The hotel is located in a prime area, close to several attractions and well-connected by public transport, making it a great base for exploring the city. This is a really great place to stay. It is literally next door to Marylebone High Street. It is a brilliant price. It is not a 5 star stay but it doesn't claim that accolade so don't expect vast spacious rooms. The rooms are basic but they are clean and tidy with good amenities. My only concern was the window that didn't lock . It opened onto a shared balcony so I was a bit worried but it was fine in the end. Staff were nice especially the lovely lady in the adjacent sister hotel that cooked me poached eggs made perfectly. Thank you for a great stay, I hope to return.

- The location was central and was within walking distance of Oxford Circus and tube stations. - The room was compact, but in some ways it didn't matter because it had everything you could want in that room. - Reasonably quiet so good for sleeping. - Good breakfast and selection and reasonably priced. - The room had been cleaned well. - The staff were professional and polite.

- The only thing I can think of that's a true negative is the amount of stairs but you're always going to get that with these London townhouses.

The location of the hotel is very good. Just a few minutes from the Baker Street, beautiful quiet district with many attractions. The hotel room was very comfortable, all the necessities are provided, includes every-day cleaning.

The only one minus I can mention is shower( the hot water comes after a few minutes and the strength of showering became lower. Everything else was good.

The room was small, but just enough for one person. The bed was comfortable - I had good sleep there. Also it was very quiet. The window faced inner yard with wall few meters away, with basically 0 view, but it was OK for a few nights stay. Location was also good for me, with many coffees and restaurants around. Everything in the room was working, although many things were not new.

Location was excellent 20 minute walk from Euston station or 10 minutes away from the nearest tube. It's a family run hotel which is a bit run down but it was clean and cheap for a few days in London.

Shower could have been better, ended up with water everywhere. Didn't know that we had to go to another hotel for breakfast tilll the next morning when we were heading for breakfast!

My mother was in UCLH for surgery and we needed to be close by. 8 minutes away perfect. We had a twin room and had plenty of space we Had to go to recency park hotel for breakfast which we paid £10 each extra and it was worth every penny and more staff so happy and greeting polite professional. Every thing was spotless will definitely be back .

Location was excellent and staff were very helpful and welcoming. They even helped a fellow traveller with a suitcase up the stairs.

There was no lift for the upper floors, not a problem for me as I had a backpack but could be an issue with heavy luggage.
