Swimming pool, breakfast, staff were very helpful.

I don’t know if you are aware of this but access to the fire stairs easily is one of the first things we check. We were located on the pool level floor and to get to the fire stairs you need a staff pass card as it’s locked on the inside. The only way you can get to the fire stairs is via the pool deck and it’s closed at night. Very dangerous situation. The entrance to the fire stairs appears to be used for staff equipment. I think that could be illegal so I would put it No1 on your priority list.

Size of room . The description said garden view. This was an interior room with no view just artificial grass and a few flooded plants.

It was in a good location, close to public transport and walking distance to Kampong Glam and Little India. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The buffet breakfast was delicious and changed daily. The rooms were a good size for two people.

The bathrooms in the rooms are extremely small and the gym is tiny. But they are minor spacial complaints because honestly everything else was great.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, having had a very pleasant stay before. A very nice hotel in an authentic neighborhood of Singapore. Hawker centers nearby, as well as some more posh cafes and restaurants. Two metro stops (different lines) nearly equidistant from the Hotel, easily accessible by foot. The staff were very attentive and very friendly. The room was big enough to not feel crowded with two people and two suitcases. Nice pool on the roof.

The air conditioning was a little difficult to get just right. The difference between too cold and too warm was often one degree. Also, on two of the nights, there was a dripping inside the shower drain (not from the shower itself) that made a very distracting drip drip drip sound when we were trying to sleep.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure everything was taken care of. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. I also appreciated the overall quality of service throughout my stay. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and well-serviced accommodation!

I was disappointed that the hotel did not inform us about the buffet breakfast beforehand. I had to find out about it myself and pay extra, as it was not included in our stay. Clear communication about meal options would have been appreciated. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay!

Good public transportation. Nice area and clean property.

Weirdly rude staff. One day, my husband had breakfast early, and I came down to eat an hour later. When I sat down, we told the lady that he wanted to sit with me and that he had already eaten. The whole space was empty. The lady stared at my husband the entire time he was sitting, as though he were a stranger trying to get a free breakfast. They were oddly cautious about breakfast and had someone standing there the whole time to monitor who was going in and out of the dining area. We’ve never seen anything like that before.

Service was very good, location excellent as it was close to 2 metro stations (bendemeer for the Downtown line and Lavender for the East-West line). Rooms were very clean and housekeeping did a good job everyday. The rooms were a bit small but that's expected when in Singapore. The terrace was a nice touch.

The only thing bringing this hotel down was the breakfast. It was average at best and certainly not worth the price I paid in the booking. There is a really nice pie shop down the road and a decent (mall-esque) food court 10 mins walk towards Lavender metro station (there's a burger king there).

Nice and reasonable priced hotel, located not far from city central. There are 2 MRT stations nearby, Lavender (EW line) and Bendemeer (DT line), each max 10 mins walking distance. A few 24-hour eating places located right next to the hotel. Regarding room facilities, I like that there is a BIDET (!!!) and a dedicated filtered drinking water section in the room. Also, room size is 15 m2 but felt bigger than that. People are the receptionist were very kind. When I was checking in, it was visible that I was having difficulties in getting my passport from my bag, and this particular staff (didn't get the name) asked me to take my time. First time ever this happened to me, in hotels of this price range in Singapore. As member of Booking.com's Genius loyalty programme, I received a free room upgrade (the one with garden view) and free snacks and drinks. Definitely worth coming back here again.

- Despite room size being just right, bathroom size is tiny - The upgraded room has a garden view, but not exactly necessary for me (I like to keep my blinds closed most of the time) - Amenities were limited, but at least the most necessary one is available (toothbrush and paste)

We had a great stay at Mercure Singapore Tyrwhitt. The hotel is well-connected and located close to an MRT station, making it easy to explore the city. It is also surrounded by plenty of local eateries serving delicious Asian cuisine. The staff was very helpful and professional, always ensuring a smooth experience. One of the highlights was the beautiful rooftop pool, which was both stylish and relaxing. A great addition to the room was the filtered water tap and air purifier, which made our stay even more comfortable. The very good idea is lemon grass ice tea was available for hotel guests in the reception area.

The only downside was the crowded breakfast area. Although the staff managed seating efficiently, the sheer number of guests made the dining experience feel a bit rushed and less enjoyable.

Location. Hotel is located just 3kms from the Marina Bay sands/Merlion park/Orchard road. 500m from both Lavendar MRT station and Bendemeer MRT station. Within 300m, there are two bus stops - where the buses to CBD/Marina Bay area comes at a frequency of 5-7mins Lots of affordable restaurants within 200m radius (thai, chinese, korean, indian, japanese, continental) Two 7-11 within 300m radius Breakfast buffet WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE. Buffet had close to 18-20 different dishes. We stayed there for 5 days and every days there was a new menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet spread.

Room was very small. There are NOOO WARDROBE/CUPBOARD to unpack your clothes. Literally we had to pack/unpack the suitcase every time when we had to get dressed. Hotel staffs didn’t provide us with cutleries and plates for dinner, since we got it from outside. We went with a 2 year old kid. Warm milk was not provided even after asking multiple times, I had to rely on 7-11 for warm milk every night.
