Very cosy hotel in fantastic location. Great and helping stuff. I was surprised by multiple choices of food at breakfast and the taste of it. Really, I've beed in a lot of places in even better/more expensive hotels and breakfasts were worse than in Scandic. Huge plus for that. We arrived 1h before check in and it was no problem to receive keys to the room as it was ready. The same with checking out, after it we left luggage at the reception to sightsee Stockholm and came back to pick them up couple hours later. Hotel is situated next to the subway, bus stop, taxi stop... surrounded by a lot of restaurants, coffee places, shops. It's also very close to Gammla Stan (Stockholm's old town) - around 3 min. by subway or 14 min walk. Next time I will be in Stockholm, I will definitely check the availability there. Recommemd 100%.

The only thing I didn't like were scrambled eggs, that were made from egg powder and not the real eggs. However, the breakfast choice was so rich, that I forgive that small mistake from Scandic ;)

Breakfast was very good, location very good.

Had to ask for the room to be cleand a day before. I did so but yet it was not cleaned when we came home after a long day. I may have gotten the room nr. wrong or something because others in the same group that asked on the same time had their rooms cleaned. Anyway. Was a little disapointed with that although I can't say it necessarily was the hotels fault. The staff was friendly and offered to clean or give new towels. It was very late so I accepted the towels. Not that big of a deal. But reccomend asking for the cleaning at check in. If the stay is longer then 2 days -if you want the room cleaned at some point so you wont forget to ask later on. 😊

Breakfast buffet was more than expected. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

We rented 2 rooms and our second room 2237 was much smaller than our other room 2236(tight for 2 adults with suitcases), stuffy and we could hear the subway. I was rather disappointed. I also got locked in the second breakfast hall and was lucky a construction worker walked through as I could not be heard knocking to get out.

Fantastic Location, so well connected and within walking distance of everything. Friendly staff, clean and comfy.

It was really hot when we visited Stockholm and the AC in our room wasn’t working and the windows are designed so that they can’t be opened. As we were out often it didn’t bother us, but if it gets even warmer it could be a real issue. The telephone to call reception also didn’t work, nor did the main light in the room. These things were minimal, but maintenance of the electrics in the room needs to be looked into.

The location was perfect and the staff were nice

I stayed twice in 2 weeks. First the 1 person beds were too close. They were less than 20cm apart and there were nightstands attached to the walls prevent them from being moved further apart. The second one was just two beds pushed together(the 20cm gap was closed) but they were not attached.

Great location, super staff, very comfy beds ( suggest earplugs for the weekend), fab shower, amazing selection for breakfast....all in the context of being a mid range/price hotel.

It's not a looker! Nothing, just be aware that breakfast is very busy (not a problem for us). Given its location recommend earplugs. Not a criticism, just advice!

Scandic Malmen went above and beyond our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the hotel was inviting, the staff were extremely friendly and our room was of a good standard and extremely comfortable and clean. We were pleasantly surprised with Scandic Malmen and would definitely stay here again or recommend it to friends and family. Thanks so much for such an enjoyable stay during the Swiftholm weekend! Bonus was the constant Taylor Swift music playing in the lobby and at breakfast.

Perfect location right at the very heart of Stockholm. Moreover, the hotel is right on top of the metro station, so it's always easy to navigate around the city if you're a traveler and even though we lived on the first floor, there were practically no sound from the metro itself. The breakfasts were superb! Amazing and very tasty. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Exceeded my expectations. Had the standard room. It had an iron and ironing board, but there is no keetle, so keep in mind.

Although you barely hear the noise from the metro, at some nights, you could clearly hear all the noise and partying from neighbors on the opposite sides of the wall, so would recommend getting earplugs if youre sensitive to noise during sleep like me.

Absolutely fantastic location. Right beside bus and metro stops that will take you anywhere you need to go. Great bars and restaurants close by. Friendly and helpful staff.

I didn't like being in a basement room with no window and this was not made clear when booking. Room fairly expensive to not have a window and not include breakfast.

The breakfast was simply superb - a huge selection of food (including vegan, gluten-free and others) that was all delicious. The room where the breakfast buffet was laid out was huge which gave loads of space to get food without it feeling crowded. The bedroom was large and comfortable. The location was extremely convenient, with a metro station right next door.

Being in a busy location, the room was a bit noisy at night but it wasn't too problematic. The hotel bar was very busy in the evenings (Friday and Saturday night) and there was a lot of security at the door, checking our room keys and such before we could enter which was a little uncomfortable.
