The location. Not far from the mall and the beach. Its quite and has a beautiful sea view. The restaurant also served nice food. The stuff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast has quite a variety of things to eat. Loved the heated pool. The late checkout is great for getting some sleep in. We will be definitely be back.

The Tv has limited channels. It has no Netflix and YouTube option. Dinner thought was going to be a buffet but chose from the menu. The food from the menu was good though.

I loved how clean the room was, the staff were very friendly and the hotel is right next to legacy yard which is fantastic!

The TV needs to have streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, Showmax etc. guests can simply log into their accounts if the hotel doesn’t want to purchase the streaming services.

Exceptional Comfort, slept well. Otherwise, Reception Staff and Cleaning Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a lovely stay and will return.

Check-in was a very delayed process with 1 Reception Staff only and a queue including for Hilton Honours GOLD customers. DAY 1- There was a small dead cockroach sited in the drawer,Cleaners missed this and there was a live one in the toilet that evening on return of which was rid of, it appeared as if may this may have been brought in by Guests as none sited elsewhere within the hotel.No time to complain as I was visiting for a week due to Serious Personal Circumstances and in and out of my Hotel room daily. None sited since.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities were immaculate, and the warm welcome from the security team and the front desk staff were not only efficient but also incredibly courteous, making check-in seamless and stress-free. We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service provided by Nosihle Ntuli, she went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, thank you very much to her. Zama Ngwane housekeeping 5 star rating she was kind the room smelt clean and fresh. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hilton Garrn Inn Umhlanga Arch and I must say the level of service exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism. The front desk staff were not only efficient but also incredibly courteous, making check-in seamless and stress-free. Throughout my stay, every team member I encountered—from housekeeping to concierge—went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of. The attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction was truly impressive. It’s clear that the staff take great pride in their work and genuinely care about creating a positive experience for their guests. I highly recommend Hilton Garen Inn to anyone seeking top-notch service, comfort, and hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit!

The location is good and the amenities are nice.

On our second day at the hotel we went for breakfast in the morning then we headed out and came back around 15:30 pm and still our room was not cleaned. The next morning we went down for breakfast and we didn’t know that they only do vegetable dishes omelettes only in that station so we ask the Indian young male chef to add bacon and he said he needs to do the omelette in the other station where it will take 15 minutes , very dismissive and when I left the station I heard him telling him colleagues that he can’t just leave and make that omelette then they laughed the chefs name starts with J. The waiters takes long to clear the tables even in the evening where there are not a lot of people

The location was great, comfort, cleanliness, staff great, awesome matress, yes i enjoyed my stay.

The breakfast item selection seemed very little. The layout / set up wasnt condusive to flow and at times people were cluttering while trying to dish up and waiting for others to be done. Definately more fresh fruit needed. We could not find the bacon - its far from the other breakfast foods and unless one askes you dont know where it is. Rather odd.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were treated like a part of the family the moment we came in and left. The rooms were clean, and the food was good, especially the breakfast and items prepared from the set menu. The playroom for the children and outside pool were lovely. We especially loved the children's check-in. Guest experience was great! The breakfast chef at the egg stahostesour hostesses at both breakfast and supper were superb!

Small touches like preparing the sofa bed before guests arrive and having enough towels and bedding provided. Buffet needs innovation, and so do your desserts. Lack of variety of mocktails for a family establishment is a disappointment. Beds and sofa beds were hard. The 24-hour store had beetroot juice that went off no matter how many we exchanged. The dining area needs more seating arrangements or a better system.

The facilities, location and ambience were great. Special mention must go to the catering manager Mr. Thoko who was magnanimous and considerate in accommodating me as a vegetarian given that such menus are generally limited. Thank you for your respect and sensitivity and making me a satisfied diner. Also, a lady called Mbali was a pleasure to deal with as she was eloquent and warm in following through to ascertain our satisfaction. Honestly, she is misplaced. Should be in Marketing and allied. If you wanted ice in your room, you had to pay for that You had to pay additional for parking which is normally and generally included "free". Should be added to the quoted prices online without mention. Its not the money but the principle on both of the above.
