The location is ideal. The room large, comfortable, and kept warm by an AC during a very cold time in Johannesburg. The shower water temperature and pressure very good

The receptionist Alexa, who checked me in, was particularly unpleasant. My room wasn't ready when I got there, even though it was pass 14h00. She made some excuse about the laundry service not bringing the linen back on time. Then she switched to blaming me for getting there too early, saying check-in time is 15h00, not 14h00. She told me I should have checked other websites that show that check-in is 15h00 and not rely on the time given by Booking.com. Weird thing is the hotel's website shows it as 14h00. She was just being petty, which is a pity cause now I've rated 8/10 instead of 10.

Location, breakfast and confort. I felt secure in that area. A lot if nice restaurants, fast food restaurants, supermarket and a mall. Gautrain on the door, but don't fool yourself: despite it may be fast, few cars and one has to wait for it a long time.

I am still waintg for my more than ZAR2700 deposit refund. The lady on the front desk (which was very polite) asked to use the same card for the deposit and I did agree. When I was checking out in a hurry she didn't find that deposit in my reservation but my Wise card was debited! At first, i did agree to alocate that drposit to my future stay, since I will spend my last night there. But I changed my mind later on and sent them an email asking for the refund, so I could use the ramd in this trip. I got no response. I will never ever allow a hotel to take a deposit in my debit card again. Will they return my rands after I leave SA? Should I have to pay exchange rate twice because of them?

Excellent location (hotel opens into the Zone/Mall at Rosebank and the starting point of the hop-on/hop-off stop is right in front of hotel); included breakfast offers good value and variety and tasted great (special shoutout to the included omelet station); comfortable bed and pillows; modern updated hotel finishes/décor in bedrooms and throughout the hotel; excellent customer service.

Bathroom can get quite slippery due to the design of the shower screen in bathroom. It can be tricky to get the shower head to remain in place once you’ve set it (these do not detract from the overall excellent experience at this hotel). Comment: consider putting an ice machine in the gym, where it may be accessed by guests from all floors. Overall rating: 9.5/10

The main thing that stood out were how friendly and accomdating the staff were. They really made the stay a loverly experience. Thank you to reception staff!! The room was nice and big, comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice ! Compliments to the chef! The location is brilliant next to Rosebank Mall for shops and restaurants. Felt very safe. The hotel is opposite Rosebank Station for the Gautrain to the airport. Special shout-out to Lawrence the doorman. Like everyone else, always had a smile, took time to chat and give a friendly hug. He also loved my blue jeans, LOL!! I'll be back!

All was perfect for me !

A typical inner-city hotel, comfortable and convenient. Easy access to two Rosebank Malls is a plus. And the Hop-on-hop-off bus office and stop are just outside the hotel - great for getting an overview of Johannesburg. Our room was very quiet and clean. A problem with the air conditioning was fixed promptly. Staff were very professional, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is very good. Shuttle service to the airport worked well.

The shower was over the bath, which got very slippery as you showered, though there was a grab-rail to help. There was no rack to hang bath towels. Furnishings were adequate but a bit sparse.

The location is perfect for sightseeing because the hop-on-hop-off bus stops right outside the hotel, and also the train station (Rosebank) is across the road, for easy access to the airport. The hotel was elegant, clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and efficient with check in and check out. Having the mall attached to the hotel was convenient, with lots of food options and shops if that’s your thing. It felt very safe there, with security outside 24/7, although the area felt very safe and friendly anyway. The breakfast is really good, with heaps of hot and cold options as well as lots of drink choices. The room was spacious, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was large. This is a very good hotel choice in Johannesburg and I highly recommend staying here.

An amazing hotel – location, cleanliness, and comfort are all 10 out of 10! The staff deserve 100 out of 10! They are friendly, solution-oriented, and genuinely kind. Our flight arrived early (before check-in time) and they let us check into our room early. This was very important for us as our journey had taken 24 hours. I had also mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary, and they sent lovely treats to the room and decorated the bed. A hotel in a great location, with comfort and run by people with beautiful souls. I highly recommend it!

I am a solo female traveller and it was absolutely safe and I've enjoyed my stay. The staff was really helpful und always friendly. They have organised spontaneously a trip to Pretoria for me and it worked well. Also the hotel shuttle from the airport was organised by the hotel, and it was very good, the driver was very friendly. The breakfest was beyond my expectations. Shopping in the Rosebank Mall was also very safe, the mall is directly connected to the hotel.

I did like everything😁 the hospitality was super 👌🏼 the staff were great I mean very friendly, organised and the taxi driver Mr Abram was brilliant, super cool 👌🏼 professional, responsible, punctual I mean always on time and very polite 🙏 so, thank you very much for everything we are very happy 🤝😁

The thing I didn’t like is that we were there for a short period of time 🕰️ 😭🤷🏽‍♂️ we wish to be there at least for 3 weeks yeah 👍 respect I hope next time 🛬🤞🏽😁

The hotel is super well located: has a direct passage to a shopping mall adjacent from the back, where there are plenty options at a food court, besides from the shopping mall there are stairs coming down to a pedestrian street with excellent restaurants like Mama Samba. The breakfast is complete, the place is clean and the rooms were cozy. A very good value for money overall

Nothing to point out… Only thing would be to maybe try and offer a better hairdryer the one that is included is a bit low in potency (like 2 speeds) the rest is perfect
