Beautiful hotel located in Rosebank, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze.

- Pillows were too soft for my liking, made sleeping uncomfortable. - They don’t have sunlight blockers/curtains so when the sun rises it feels up the room and I don’t like being forced to wake up because of the sunlight. - We had dinner at the hotel on our first night and the food was absolutely terrible, overcooked steaks and not enough seasoning, we gave the waitress feedback. - My room didn’t have amenities that my friends rooms seemed to have e.g. an iron and hair dryer - The TV in the room kept ‘freezing’ and the casting option did not work at all. - I did not like that you have to pay for parking as a guest. That should be free for hotel guests to be honest.

Reception staff were brilliant, looked after me and helped with all enquiries/requirements.

Raddison Red is an imaginative hotel in a pleasant area of Jo'burg. Decor - red of course - is an artwork in itself! All facilities expected from a first class hotel. Breakfast superb. Rooftop bar and eatery - with swimming pool - has view over the city and is delightful during the day. In the evening it has loud, thumping music to accompany the smoke from multiple shishas. Walking distance to a great, but expensive, shopping centre. Staff very helpful and professional.

The lighting in my room did not work on two occasions and I needed a maintenance person to come to my room and flick the right switch on a control panel to restore the lights. I was unable to use the bar and restaurant facilities of the hotel on two days (out of five) because of (extremely loud) private functions. I was not advised of this inconvenience beforehand.

No true suite with separate lounge despite calling it a suite. No interleaving rooms especially for families with children They had a singles night event on Friday in the main restaurant , and shoved hotels guests in corners away from the music and DJ. ( which is for hotel guests not just this event’s guests! ) This was not a private event and made hotel guests feel isolated and uncomfortable. This was not appropriate for the paying hotel guests.

Great Stay at Radisson RED Rosebank I recently stayed in a Superior Guest Room at the Radisson RED Rosebank, and we had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the vibrant and modern atmosphere of the hotel was evident. The lobby is stylish, with a great energy, and the staff were welcoming and professional. Our room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a contemporary touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we really appreciated the high-quality linens and amenities. The large window provided a great view of the city, and the room had all the tech features we needed, including a smart TV and excellent Wi-Fi. One of the highlights was the hotel’s restaurant and bar area, where we enjoyed some delicious meals and drinks. The location of the hotel is also perfect – it's right in the heart of Rosebank, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance. The easy access to public transport, including the Gautrain station, made getting around Johannesburg a breeze. Overall, our stay at Radisson RED Rosebank was top-notch. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel offers great value, modern comfort, and an excellent location. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay in Johannesburg. Rosebank mall with tons of shops, stores, markets, and things to do is right next door an easy walk. The hotel has a great bar and restaurant in the lobby and the food is great. Staff are super helpful and the rooms were comfortable.

Not much to critique. The stay was great and overall comfortable. Be prepared to pay in advance when you arrive. Issues with customers not paying has led the hotel to make sure everything is paid in advance. Also had some issues with my door not locking properly but maintenance was able to handle it very quickly.

Lovely hotel in a great location and very secure. It's very apparent that there are good security guards on the front door. Reception staff were excellent and accommodating. The staff and the restaurant seemed a bit grumpy and uninterested so that was a little bit disappointing. No matter, I had a great stay. My room was fabulous. The roof terrace is brilliant with a lovely bar that very loud music, which was a shame

The staff in the restaurant area seemed slightly grumpy and uninterested stark comparison to the reception and main entrance where they were so polite. The music on the rooftop terrace was ridiculously loud and when I went up for a drink I quickly turned around. The place was empty so perhaps that was why. The windows in the room don't open

Great location for Rosebank Mall and the Red Bus Tour, and the restaurants in the complex below. It felt safe and it was comfortable. Parking is only R90 overnight and there's a lift straight up from the parking garage, and a car guard on duty. We were able to leave our luggage at reception and then they moved it up to our room when it became available.

We were given a double room (for my 2 sons) when I had asked for twin beds - I phoned reception and asked them to convert to twins while we were out at dinner but it didn't happen. The bar on the top (7th) floor was VERY noisy, even at 6.30pm when we wanted a pre-dinner drink. We could hear it when we got back to our room on the 6th floor but luckily it stopped before we went to sleep.

The hotel at first glance was a dream... We arrived in the evening so all lights were on outside and wow so much beauty... The staff was so friendly and welcoming... Our room was comfortable, we were able to keep warm with the A/C, bed was so soft, the city view was great and the breakfast buffet, top notch! We are definitely coming back for a longer stay this time around

Honestly, there was nothing to not like...

Nice view from rooftop bar with friendly staff. Comfortable bed and room, nice art everywhere. Food was tasty. Late checkout means no rushing in the morning.

Bathroom cramped. Junior staff at check in didn't tell us about parking cost, R90 a day. Aircon in room did not work properly, does not actually cool to temperature set.
