Breakfast was great, perfect location only a few mins from Rosebank shopping centre with lots of shops and endless restaurant absolutely love it. The hotel was amazing I loved every day and I would go back and stay again, one of the lady at reception was exceptional when we checked-in on Saturday 10th Dec in the afternoon, the waiters were superb, we gave a tip last day to share with everyone but most probably the waitress that took the bill took all the money too, that was not a nice move. Food was amazing, cant fault anything at all...oh and don't believe when people tell you Joburg is not safe, you just need to be sensible

the sealing in the shower needs replacing because every time we had a shower water would go everywhere but this is something that can be fixed easily. The receptionist on check out on Friday 16th Dec was trying to charge us extra money, she was not very clear, first of all she said these were taxes but when I told her the email from booking.com included all taxes and charges she changed saying the room we booked was charged cheaper but again that was the price the hotel gave to booking.com so cant change when feel like it, I did contact booking.com and they told me the bill was paid in full and I didn't have to give anything extra, so I would suggest to check always the bill on checking out to avoid unexpected charges. Also pity the pool was not heated, water was very cold

beautiful place and very friendly and staff always ready ti help. I recommend the place very special and romantic hotel with nice furniture. Big mall not far and have been escorted by security guard although for me it is save to walk 500 meters in safety.

was disappointed with dinner i guess depend of the chef. Not much chose on the menu. It is winter and had no heater in the room n not heater in the room although we asked.

Location is great for northern Jo'burg and especially Rosebank Mall. It feels safe and secure. The rooms are spacious and light with good-sized bathrooms and we had a nice little balcony overlooking the pool. We didn't eat there but we did have a drink at the bar before going out for dinner nearby. There is a lovely outdoor seating area.

There were no cocktails or rosé wine at the bar.

The premises was well maintained with a working back-up power system. The room was very clean. The Pool was a plus for the kids and we able to enjoy the facilities. Halal restaurant is a major plus.

Breakfast buffet tables could do with "shoo-away fly" fans. We ordered from the kitchen instead. There wasn't much more to not like, we definitely will be coming again.

This hotel is a greta option, nice spaces in teh room, good restaurant and services is very good. The location alos is super centric, and close to many things, a safe neigborthoood too.

at teh end they chaged us a "tour" tarif that they even coudnt expalin because it was a charge made after the paid rooms, so it wa snot a tax or related to the room, and as we were in a ruch to teh airport they didnt change it and we had to paid an extra charge taht we dont know what that was....

The location is good. The hotel is charming, a blend of oriental and countryside. The check-in process was good, and we appreciated the tour of the room from our lovely Porters. Having Netflix, albeit an Italian account, was amazing.

The bathroom shower heads could be improved. The keycards were a bit problematic, they failed to work on a couple of occasions. Breakfast was a little underwhelming.

They make the best short rib in the world! Be sure to try it out and you’ll thank me later😉

The phone service was bad and housekeeping was not promprompt in providing items requested

I love the setting, an oasis in Johannesburg, and rooms have nice feel and good beds, and the manager was prepared to negotiate because I didn't get the room I had booked.(Partly because previous trip we had no water for 3 days- due to a Municipal mess up)

but last visit Wi-fi in room was iffish, and we had constant problems with room access key card. And a bit more attention to the breakfast quality would be nice...

Loved the general ambience of the hotel. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff were always willing to help and very friendly. Room service was quick and efficient. Would definitely stay here again

Had minor problems with my aircon remote and would be helpful to have a full length mirror in the bedrooms

Yup, I came back again. This time with the whole family. This hotel does not have family rooms or interleading doors. They did however make a plan to book our kids in the room right next to ours. The kids had a great time. We were fortunate enough to get a room upgrade as the room we had booked before was already taken. The internet/WiFi this time was very good.

There is no lift so we had to go up a flight of stairs with luggage, but fortunately, the staff helps with hour luggage so this actually wasn't a big deal. If I was to be hyper-critical I would say the room service portions (curry) were quite small. So be sure to order starters too :-) But hardly anything is bad about this place. Love it!
