Dogs everywhere even in the breakfast hall

Home Suite Hotel Rosebank is located centrally in Rosebank, next to Gautrain Station and the Rosebank mall. We felt very safe here. The staff was extraordinary friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super tasty and of high quality. Our room was much more spacious and comfortable than we expected and had a stylish interior design, like the rest of the place. We can highly recommend Home Suite Hotel Rosebank!

Home Suite Hotel Rosebank is one of these unique smaller hotels with a specific character that makes travelling special. The interior layout with its many textures and great colour combinations makes one want to stay just one more night. Cleanliness is second to none and - believe it or not - we have finally been able to replicate the standard of "an excellent mattress" by comparing with Home Suite Hotel Rosebank's perfect beds!

We experienced a couple of worrying mishaps with the room and kitchen staff and addressed them with the reception. Breakfast comes out slow, especially when the dining room fills up.

Breakfast yes, but was included by me in booking but staff warned us about having to pay each morning, saying afterwards, they will address it, but every morning someone checked if we prepared to pay the R250. Very annoying.

Room 212 aircon blows down into face when trying to sleep. We paid way too much extra just to get access to room with bath, even after discount Traffic noisy - did not get the room away from roads, as requested in booking, also had to upgrade to get bath after requesting it in booking.

Awesome and friendly staffs; excellent communication (fast responses via WhatsApp); best host (Maggie & Hazel); amazing breakfast in Rosebank area; best team/services at the breakfast; heavenly comfy mattress; best sleep; super clean room; best shower experience (super awesome water pressure, sustainable/non single-use toiletries; great shampoo..); modern & sleek room decor; great coffee and tea in room; the steak and food we had for dinner at the hotel is much better than The Grillhouse Rosebank (a 5 stars restaurant) ;

rooftop bar is currently closed but you can order drinks at the restaurant on the ground level and have drinks anywhere as you please;

What a fabulous hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We pre-booked a driver, Hugh, through the hotel for our party of four and he absolutely made our Johannesburg stay perfect and one to remember. We enjoyed trips to Lesedi cultural village, the Cradle of Humankind and Johannesburg and Soweto. When we heard that Maroon Five were playing at the stadium, Hugh even arranged at a moment's notice through the hotel travel service, to take and collect us from there! What an incredible service he provided and what an asset he is to Rosebank Home Suites!

Everything was great!

The food. Perfect steak and proper eggs Benedict. Not often you come across authentic eggs Benedict. Hollandaise sauce spot on. Hazel and her new companion, both rescue dogs. Some people may not like the dogs coming into the dining area, though. Professionalism and friendliness of all staff. They certainly go the extra mile. Staff are fantastic. From the security guard Trish and Sipho. The manager is very helpful. The staff were charming and helpful. It was my husband's birthday. They went the extra mile with special Birthday messages.

One waitron is not enough to deal with 16 people arriving for dinner at the same time, as the waitron concerned had to deal with delivering room service orders and deal with all the diners in the café. However, the quality of the food makes up for the wait. Dont be in a hurry. Breakfast is pretty speedy.

Home Suites Rosebank is a fantastic place to stay, the staff are friendly and helpful, the place itself is welcoming and very comfortable, the little restaurant/bar is lovely and the food is very good, no need to go out if you would rather stay in. The 2 gorgeous dogs, Hazel and Maggie are a treat and very loved. The area surrounding the hotel is lovely and we actually walked to the local mall which is only 1 km away, it was very safe, although I would not do it at night time. We would absolutely recommend this hotel as the place to stay. The hotel arranged for us to be collected from the airport by Mousa (spelling) and one of her drivers took us out for the day to local tourist intersts, we would also highly recommend you use this service.

There was nothing to dislike.

The accommodation was wonderfully decorated. Such lovely attention to detail, including a sleep menu where you could order your preferred pillow type. It was an absolute treat to come back to the property after being out the whole day. I would highly recommend the Home Suite Hotels. Very central, beautifully presented food, and exceptional service from the team.

If I had to be picky, our room faced the road, so additional sound proofing to mask the distant traffic noise would have made our stay 10 / 10 perfect. In retrospect, the white noise that could be ordered from the sleep menu would have resolved this challenge :)

We loved our stay at Home Suite Hotel. We decided between a large chain and this hotel and are very happy with our choice. Because it is medium-sized, it is very safe and we were able to leave our things there on the last day until our flight without any worries. But the best thing of all are the super nice people who are always there to help you. We met up with friends and the hotel ordered an Uber for us there and back and even sent a message to ask if everything went well. The breakfast is also great. If you eat less, they don't charge the full price, but only the individual dishes.
