Staff was great! From the start….the customer service was fantastic. Checking in was a breeze. Even got upgraded which was nice. House keeping was 100/10! Always kept the room clean and provided clean bed sheets and new towels everyday! Also big props to Kenneth during the night shift. We were unable to order food at the McDonald’s because our app was not recognizing the location. Kenneth helped us out by ordering with his phone and we were able to eat! He definitely deserves a raise with his great customer service and generosity! All in all….would recommended and stay here again!

I loved the hotel and the location and the Christmas decorations were lovely. Staff were friendly and the rooms very clean. Pool and sauna were great in the cold weather.

When I asked the concierge and reception to mail a small item to someone and charge back to my room they said the could not and could only mail post cards. In ANZ and Europe, Hyatt's do this and. It is a great help. I also went to the concierge asking for a small screw driver to assemble a Harmonica. Whilst standing at the concierge desk he told me to find a house phone and call the engineering team. This would not happen at a Hyatt in other parts of the world.

My daughter and I were in town for the Taylor Swift concert. The Hyatt Regency went above and beyond in welcoming guests who were there for the concert with many Taylor Swift activities offered as well as Taylor Swift themed surprises in our room. The staff were incredible. We would definitely stay there again. While we were there, the hotel had a beautiful gingerbread house display as a benefit for an organization. We loved checking out all the amazing creations!

I know the room rate was inflated because of the Taylor Swift concert. I completely understand the Taylor Swift effect on the area's economy when she is in town. Once we saw the hotel and our room, I was less upset about the inflated rate.

The hotel was perfectly located and even has some main tourist attractions using the hotel location as pick up and drop off points. there is no need for a car for the bulk of the stay there as all is walking distance. The car park pricing is great and easy to get in and out. The facilities and service was good and really had no issues at all.

Room service was limited but not a deal breaker as there was plenty of choices downstairs. With its location, i think it could have done with a good tourist service there to really use the site to enjoy the city. the best tourist information was down to the waterfront.

Location was good for our needs this time. Room was comfortable with a view of central city through the large window which gave you a feeling of watching the world go by. However, unless we had activities in the area we would stay elsewhere in a quiet part of the city. We ate in the bar since we had an early event across the street and it was good value.

Amenities like maps and activities were online and difficult to make any sense of except how to book tours which we don't use. For older customers like us we are not used to working easily in such an wired environment. While comfortable the room is also devoid of personal items that would improve the stay like cups, a machine you can easily understand to make tea and coffee, and a microwave. The only item was a bible which reminds me of the highway motels in the U.S. like Motel 8.

The touch screen elevators were amazing and a great idea to manage vast numbers of guests - we never had to wait more than a minute or so to get to our floor. the location was ideal and the room was huge and well stocked.

one night we heard our room neighbours quite clearly and it was disruptive to our sleep. not sure whether rooms are as sound proofed as they could be. however most people must have abided by the quiet hours as we didn’t hear anyone apart from that one noisy group.

We had a corner room which was perfect for our family of 4. We arrived straight from the airport due to a last minute flight cancellation and I made the booking through the app. Excellent service, great continental breakfast (EU standard) and very well serviced and maintained hotel. I particularly like the fact that you can rent a car there directly or have a Starbucks in the lobby. The gym, swimming pool and whirlpool were also great.

I’d expect to have real ceramic coffee mugs in a 5 star rating hotel instead of disposable ones.

The hotel front staff was very helpful when BOOKING.COM duplicated our reservation for some reason. We had reservation receipt email so it was no problem. He was friendly and fix the problem right away and gave us options for room types. We stayed the hotel comfortable.

Booking.com duplicated our reservation. We booked one room for 2 people. Hotel was informed our reservation as 2 rooms, 2 people. Good thing we had a reservation email. I hear from people complaining these third party booking websites make errors. Unfortunately it was true. I hope it resolves this type of technical error.

Its location is fantastic Loved the elevators how they informed you which one to take. The room attendants were very efficient yet not intrusive.

The coffee in rooms is terrible. And giving guests whitener is horrible. I don’t mind an instant coffee or tea in my room early morning or later in the day. You need to add more sachets of sugar and tea, normal tea, and get rid of those pods and machines. If there was real milk it might taste better. And the light on balcony is on way too late. Don’t even know why it needs to be on when no one is out there. It was difficult to go to tt. I like to leave curtains open a bit but impossible with that light shining in.

I think it is a bit outdated for a 5 star hotel, bath tub with no hand held shower head and with a shower curtain. Room amenities are a bit limited. A lot of TV channels but nothing interesting. Need some renovation, especially in the balcony; large cobweb in one corner, outdoor furniture is very old, some paintwork needed on one of the walls.
