The location is literally at the heart of Seoul. I like the staff, they were polite and attentive. I liked the amenities provided each day, we had plenty of water each day! Also the hotel smelled nice. Lastly, it was very convenient to have the subway station very close by.

I didn’t like the smell of the body wash provided, it had a masculine scent. I didn’t like that the pool closed too early. I didn’t like that the sauna was an extra fee. We didn’t like that there were no direct elevator to the subway which made it hard to use public transportation when we had our heavy luggages. I didn’t like that the closet lights couldn’t be turned off all night.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and once again, it was a very pleasant experience. The room was big, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent, it is close to many sightseeing spots, which made exploring the area very convenient. I especially want to highlight the valet team they were outstanding. Always positive, helpful, and ready to assist, even when I had questions about nearby places to visit. Their attitude truly added a special touch to my stay. Highly recommended, and I look forward to coming back again!

Our stay could not have been better - the rooms and facilities were excellent. The gym and sauna were exceptional and a real highlight for our short stay. However the staff were the real differentiator - the reception and porter team (it seems unfair to call such professional and helpful people porters but I don’t have another word!) were so kind and did their absolute best to assist us. I also spoke with the concierge to assist with mailing a package and with customer service to arrange luggage storage during a day trip and I could not have had a better experience. The team were exceptional in every way!

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. We absolutely love the location, and it is next to the City Hall station. As soon as you enter the lobby, you are greeted with such a great ambience and friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. Myeongdong and Euljiro are walkable especially if you utilise the underground. Warning though, if you are a shopaholic, then get your money and shopping bags ready as there is a myriad of underground shops to see. Fancy visiting some of Seoul's gorgeous palaces, Deoksugung and Gyeongbokgung are both walking distance from the hotel. There are lots of restaurants and cafes to eat at, you won't be short of choices. We definitely recommend this hotel to stay at if you want to be centrally located in Seoul.

Staying at The Plaza Hotel in Seoul was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Perfectly located in the heart of the city, it offers a prime central position with breathtaking views directly overlooking Seoul Plaza. I've stayed at Plaza many times. If the room is bigger, it will be PERFECT! I like the location as I hang out at Myeongdong a lot. I know how to get around to the areas that I need. This time my stay coincided with Squid Games Season 3 event and I was able to view from my room! Great bonus! Having the airport limo (6701) available for this hotel is also a plus point for me. I will continue to stay at Plaza for security and value for money. So keep the rates competitive and reasonable!

Elegant place to stay, not perfect. Central location but with some limitations— see below. Bathrooms are nice and modern even if small and have no bathtubs.

1- Every weekend there are political demonstrations on the street of the hotel. They are loud and noisy. It is a hassle to navigate, especially if you’re coming by car from another part of town it can take you as much as 10 minutes to cover 1 mile. There are other hotel options nearby that avoid this inconvenience at a lesser cost 2- For the price, the hotel does not offer a true five star service. 3- Service is efficient but not very warm. 4- I expected a more cosmopolitan approach to the hotel (e.g. food, service) but during my stay 95% of the guests were locals 5- Small rooms in a trapezoidal shape with very odd decorative choices that encumber movement. The hotel location is simply amazing, the 6701 coach from incheon airport drops you off right at the hotel. Transportation links (metro) are literally on the doorstep. Rooms are spacious compared to most, above all the hotel staff was my favourite went above and beyond for me, all of them spoke VERY good english so any inquiry i had was easily understood.

Korea is know for its protests and with the location being at city hall, many of the huge gatherings take place near the hotel. luckily they are well organised and end at about 7pm. So if you like to sleep in during the day it might bother you

excellent hotel in perfect location for sightseeing. Comfortable generous sized rooms, good beds, great light blocking curtains, great bathrooms. they managed to put our two rooms close to each other and provided some amenities for our baby, though the cot was for a tiny infant, and our 11m old is big enough to climb out! Staff were great, helpful, and spoke english sufficiently well to be able to answer all our questions. Also the airport bus goes/drops off right by the hotel lobby.

It would have been good to know that children under 3 years are not allowed in the pool for some reason. Shame.
