The hotel which has a Cuban vibe is well located in a peaceful area with a host of good restaurants nearby. The room was spacious with all relevant amenities. The Pool area is relaxing and far away from the Miami hustle and bustle and a wonderful inner courtyard offers real tranquility. We would recommend the hotel to others and definitely return ourselves.

The decor is a little dated but the fact that you soon forget this is a testament to the build and design quality at the time. The lift system is frustrating and very slow but hey, not a real problem in the scheme of things

We had a mixed but overall delightful experience at Hôtel Mayfair. The place is spotless and our room was spacious — although, true to my French roots, let me start by saying there was no hot water! For three guests, we only got two tiny bottles of water, and not even every day. Breakfast was included, but just one dish, one hot drink, and one cold drink — you’ll have to pay extra if your inner gourmand gets ambitious. Also, the breakfast room is so small that on the morning we left, people were queueing outside like it was a trendy Parisian bakery. Ah, c’est la vie! But honestly, there’s so much to love here! The common spaces are genuinely gorgeous, the gym is massive and super well-equipped, and the restaurant is great (merci beaucoup for the warm welcome!). The advice at reception was much appreciated — thanks, Fernando! The rooftop pool and bar are a dream (Louis, those cocktails deserve a round of applause). So yes, I’m French and I enjoy a good complaint — but here, the little annoyances really pale in comparison with all the things that make this hotel wonderful. I definitely recommend it (and that’s not just the wine talking)!

Loved the style of the hotel - beautiful design throughout, and fantastic roof terrace. Resturant (Grill) for evening meal was EXCELLENT.

No one told us when we checked in that there was a private event happening in the evening, so when we went to the roof terrace for a swim, there was a debauched party of 20 somethings, drinking and smoking cigars in the pool. Not ideal for young kids! Also felt the breakfast offer was quite functional. Misleading menu re what was included (juice is NOT the juices on the menu!) and check presented about a minute after we ordered.

The place was absolutely stunning! The aesthetic is like staying in the jungle if the jungle was a high class resort. The style of the room was beautiful and the privatized outdoor patio with an outdoor shower felt incredibly lux. I felt like I was hanging out at Richard Brandon’s Virgin Islands house. Staff was very helpful and friendly really the entire experience was unforgettable. I saw some reviews mentioning thin walls and trouble with noise but I didn’t hear a thing. It was perfect.

I have absolutely ZERO negative things to say about this place.

The hotel has this beautiful signature scent when you walk in. And the indoor and outdoor architecture is iconic. The location is excellent, close to cafes and restaurants and you can walk to the marina. The service and staff were great. Check in was smooth. Room was huge and beautiful and the bathroom too. The bed was a little soft for my taste but I slept well. Nice walk-in shower. We also spent some time at the rooftop pool/bar which was great.

The courtyard can get a bit noisy in the morning and afternoon if there's an event being held, and there was some construction outside so we couldn't enjoy the huge beautiful balcony, but those are minor, minor things. I'm just being picky.

The room is fantastic it’s very spacious, and having Google Cast available is a great feature. The bathroom is also impressively large

I was expecting a breakfast buffet rather than a set menu. I believe offering a buffet would be a smarter option, as it allows everyone to choose what they like. I paid for breakfast, and I don’t think it’s fair to be charged extra for a latte or cappuccino or having eggs

Wonderful location in Coconut Grove, walking distance to amazing shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is vibrant and safe. Our room was large, clean and well appointed. Walking into this property is like stepping into a tucked away Oasis. This was my second visit at the Mayfair and the staff is so friendly and helpful. David at the front desk is exceptional. A truly wonderful hotel and experience.

Loved the Art Deco botanical vibe stunning building and rooms to die for perfect!! Breakfast in parts was good, staff super friendly and helpful loved the rooftop pool, and vibrant of the building. B bed super comfy and spacious room loved it.

The breakfast choice - appreciate breakfast included but I feel the allowance for 1 drink is a bit stingy and it was a very limited menu offer.

We absolutely loved the style of the restaurant, the front door, the refreshing smell and cool air as you walk in, the detailing in the decor, the lush greenery and the stylish room decor.

We were looking forward to a relaxing afternoon at the rooftop pool. Unfortunately, we hadn’t been given the heads up that a pool party would be taking place…it wasn’t the vibe we were looking for, too loud and no spare sunbeds, so we were a bit disappointed with that. Also loves that there was a kettle in the room but would recommend two of each type of teabag for a room with two guests.

This might be the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. It's like the hotel is alive, everything your eye sees is beautiful. there is detail everywhere, artistic elements on columns, elevator doors, walls, the ceramic tiles indicating your room number, it's all beautiful and you haven't even got to your room yet. The room was a double King room, colorful, large inviting, great beds, vintage elements on the desk and bar area and amazing secluded balcony with a screen of greenery so lush you can not see the building across the street. I don't know if all rooms are as big or if all the balconies make you feel like you're in a jungle but my room (459) was wonderful. I was sad to leave.

Minor issues, air evacuation after a hot shower takes a while (not a big deal) and if you sleep with the patio door open you may be woken early AM by garbage trucks removing waste from the adjacent Coco Walk, it's a non issue with the door closed.
