The breakfast was outstanding. I have not stayed in many hotels, but I have stayed in a few, and the breakfast at the Hyatt was the best.

The only issue I had was that I didn't realize the room had a darkening shade, and each morning the sun would come in very early, waking me up. On the last day there, I realized there was an extra shade; however, one of the shades was broken. The only issue I encountered was that I didn't notice the darkening shade in the room. Each morning, sunlight would stream in very early, waking me up. On the last day of my stay, I discovered there was an additional shade, but unfortunately, one of the shades was broken.

Upon entering the hotel it was beautiful and very clean. The staff was very friendly. I like the use of my room key to access the elevator. It was very secure. My room was very clean and the temperature was just right. I picked my husband up from the airport. He was also very pleased with the room and first look at the hotel. We are considering a staycation there.

No microwave in the room. Being that there are tons of restaurants surrounding the hotel, the Hyatt should accommodate it's customers with a microwave in the room. The choice of soaps and toiletries were subpar. The hotel should invest in more high end and better quality toiletries.

One of the best hotel stays and experiences we have had! The staff was exceptional, everything was so clean and well maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable and there was no weird smell that seems to be with so many hotels! They were able to accommodate our family and the early check in when half of our our party flew in. The hot breakfast buffet had plenty of options for the kids, my wife and I! They keep it fully stocked and warm the entire time for breakfast! Overall amazing experience will definitely be our new go to in Chicago area when traveling or visiting museums! The city is only 15 minutes!

No complaints, nothing we didn’t love!!!

The room was clean, the beds were not as comfortable as they could have been, and the pillows were flimsy. I did not eat breakfast, and I did not use the pool. I would have like to have a hot tube on the property. I did use the workout room, and it was nice and clean and had good equipment for me to use.

It would have been nice to be offered a couple of bottles of complimentary water. People were pretty loud throughout the night, and I wish the bed had been slightly more comfortable. I saw the QR code for the restaurant but when I scanned it, it was not clear how to proceed with an order. That was inconvenient and I wound up spending more than I intended because I had to order from a surrounding restaurant.

I loved the flavored water in the lobby, it was a super hot day and the receptionist saw me sweating and offered a fan to cool me off in that moment. I loved the computer access, and the bed comfortability, the little marketplace downstairs. The room was nice and it gave us the the rest we needed from a long trip.

I didn't like having to pay for breakfast, but it wasn't so bad. The thermostat kept turning on and off so it made it hard for me to stay sleep due to a need for noise.

Big size room. Cleaning and breakfast. Perfect for family stay. Mosque and halal food nearby. Walmart and Aldi next door. Shower was great.

Nothing.

Location was good. It's a big city so traffic and people is just too much for me.

The room smelled. I believe the exhaust fan to bathroom might not be working correctly. Ac unit seems to not be cooling too much. First time using a dryer worked just fine. The second fine I used the she dryer it didn't dry my laundry. I ran out of laundry detergent. Went downstairs to purchase more but they're was none to buy.

The room was clean, as were all public areas. All channels on the TV worked. There were plenty of towels of all sizes.

I asked for an extra chair at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning, when my meeting ended at 5:50 p.m. the chair still had not arrived. The shampoo pump dispenser was broken and I was unable to wash my hair. Housekeeping did not come on Saturday. Sunday morning's breakfast service could be improved. A description of the hotel's amenities must be accessed by QR code, a printed copy or a TV channel listing would be helpful.

The breakfast was great, alot of different selection to choose from. The location was safe and COMFORTABLE.

Nothing was wrong

Keep your expectations reasonable - like I did - and it is alright. In a deprived area, but together with many hotels in campus like safe guarded area - I assume safe enough for the area. Breakfast is what you get in those hotels - all as expected, nothing extra, nothing less really. So, for the money paid, okay.

I travelled from Hyde Park area, and the drive is not the best. Similarly, nothing much for me outside. But, again all depends on your personal circumstances. Other than that, more or less in line with expectations.
