Beautiful, conveniently located to town

Breakfast buffet choices for the price could have been better. I think for $20 a person we should have had more than eggs, sausage links, potatoes, bagels and fruit. I have honestly had a bigger selection that tasted a little better at other hotels and their buffets were free. I actually paid $64 for myself, my husband and daughter to eat here this morning and all I had was a bagel and coffee because I can’t eat eggs and I don’t like sausage and the coffee was free!! So I actually paid $21.50 for 1 bagel 😭 that was my only disappointment with your hotel.

It looks like a very nice place -- grand lobby, open garden with a large outdoor fireplace. It looks like a great hotel for conferences, conventions, weddings. Convenient for the river walk, and the Lyndhurst mansion is only about a mile down the road.

It's a grand place, but I felt as if I'd come during the off season. I only saw one other person in this huge hotel who wasn't staff. Pool closed, restaurant closed, no signal available on the TV -- no big deal for just one night's stay, but overall it felt weird. The WiFi did work, but was spotty.

room was not cleaned while we were there; linen, towels were not changed and floor was not vacuum cleaned at the end of the day; the trash was not picked up. We asked for trash to be picked up and linen to be changed and it was not; it seems staff were unavailable, not employed or the place to large to be maintained. When we asked for microwave, we were told it would be $15 each time it was used. Hotel staff were cold and not helpful.

Easy access to the main road, and it was still very quiet. Definitely liked the vintage aesthetic. Staff was friendly and check-in was easy. Hot water works wonderfully.

Bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better. Kept having issues with the tv, but they did send someone to help. Make sure to look at exact location, we knew before we booked that it was outside of sleepy hollow. But for others they might feel misled by the distance from sleepy hollow.

The registration clerk finally agreed that all five of our credit cards were accepted by the credit card machine and that the rejection was by the hotel's equipment. He had to check with his tech people who blamed the problem on Booking.com. It was nice to have an in-house restaurant for breakfast but it was not included in the cost.

It is a huge hotel and it was a long walk to the room from the lobby. It is difficult for handicaps.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! During check in they even offered a small plastic cup of wine while we waited in line.

The Internet and TV just didn't work. Using the guide on the TV would just take over a minute to "access" and then it would just say unavailable so we had to just search through channels one by one. And the Internet wouldn't even stay connected long and we couldn't cast our phones to the TV at all.

could walk into town for all the restaurants and shops. front lobby was huge with two large fireplaces. so inviting

don’t know if was just our room .. but wifi was awful. kept going in and out and TV. would change channel on its own was alot of road construction going on in front of the hotel. ground dug up etc. I don’t know if that was the problem. didn’t have chance to tell front desk at check out

I liked the clean rooms, the beautiful lobby, the ease of entry and exit, and the quality of the bar. The seating area in the lobby made waiting for our Uber rides comfortable and warm.

I didn't enjoy the cost to quality of the offered breakfast. Not to say it was bad food, but I felt for the $20 per adult, the quality might have been a bit higher.

Location was great and hotel was right at the end of the exit. Close to the attractions we wanted to see. Plenty of parking, room was clean, and all staff encountered were very helpful and friendly.

Weather was warm and took asking the front desk a few times to get the AC fixed. Mechanical engineer told us that the heat was on for our building and he turned it off but would take a few hours until they could flip to AC. Almost 24 hours later and it was finally working.

The location was great. Check-in was smooth, with no issues at all.

The rooms were ok. Some stains on the walls and the air filters need to be cleaned!! Every morning, I would wake up struggling to breathe and catch my breath, and my friend would have sneezing fits. Once we were outside we would feel well again.
