We love the furniture fixtures and that it hasnt been gutted and “modernized “ it looks and feels like a nice hotel used to look and feel before the era of making hotels modern white and cold. this is our go to hotel when we visit family in San Antonio. It’s very centrally located to everything we want to do and the price is wonderful and the staff is great shout out to our bellhop!

The check-in process didnt feel warm and friendly this time.  we were the only people approaching the counter and yet the lady acted like we were bothering her.  when I requested a certain room, she basically said well go try this one and if you don’t like it, come back. She may have been well meaning but her professionalism was off.

The staff made the stay great, when checking in we felt welcomed instantly. Amie was checking us in and she had asked the reason for stay and it was a birthday. After completing check in and making it into our room we had a knock at the door. It was the staff with a birthday desert and hand written card. It made our stay so much better. I just want to thank the staff that was there that day, I believe we have stayed 2 other nights there and have all been great.

bed and pillows are super comfortable - we love the fact that this hotel is classy like hotels USED to be, and has not been remodeled into something with a boring white modern decor. the room layout is perfect and the bathroom feels private. hotel is convenient and does not price gouge.

nothing - we stay regularly when in town for various holidays to see my family

Nothing everything was at its best

We have always love this hotel, but have noticed recently the constant upgrades I notice they keep making. I immediately noticed the wonderful scent in the hotel, the beds felt new, fresh and super comfortable, the pool was heated even the outdoor one, that was a huge bonus! We love this hotel.

I loved everything.

Pool was wonderful and Sauna hot! Atmosphere was welcoming as was the entire team at the hotel.

Not that the hotel had any control however construction was a bit out of control on I-10 / 1604.

The Westin Heavenly Bed! The bell porter is also wonderful. Parking is easy.

Towels are wonderful but could use some fabric softener. :)

What can I say my stay was unbelievable the staff was amazing and so polite and welcoming with such a family environment our kids had a blast especially the outdoor movie set up (projector) the outdoor/indoor bar was sincerely on point! Bedrooms/Restrooms met our expectations of “Cleanliness” ,the location was great and comforting where I didn’t need to check my vehicle every so often. Will be returning soon!

Location and room price.

The pool area needs attention(power washing the area maybe). The rooms have areas that contained rust. Free complimentary coffee in the morning would definitely be a good addition.

Nice building - Not as fancy as the high rises at the Riverwalk but very nice nonetheless. We were looking for something closer to Six Flags - about a 10 min drive. Downtown is about a 10-15 min drive from here. Plenty of restaurants close by. Free water bottles at the front desk.

Shower curtain was brown and was displeasing to shower with. Indoor Pool is heated and they have a Sauna. Elevators are a bit slow and outdated. My keycards stopped working on the last night of my stay and I had to get replacements, small inconvenience. No microwave in the room, couldn’t heat up my leftovers. Hot tub steam made eyes burn.
