Very nice hotel.

I have booked the Doubletree at Seatac on 4 previous trips and have always ended up at the one across from Jack in the Box and the Smokehouse. We love this location because we can walk across the street to eat dinner and breakfast in the morning. We are used to paying more than the other hotels because of this feature. However, when we showed up with our confirmation they said we had booked at another Doubletree about 3 miles away. I have booked every time the same hotel name The Doubletree at Seatac. We had to call the other hotel ourselves and wait for another 30 minutes for them to pick us up. We can't prove it but we think they just overbooked and pawned us off to another hotel.

The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed how quiet the hotel was, the proximity to the airport, and we could walk to restaurants.

There are 2 Double Trees in Seattle and it is not clear at the airport that there are 2 different shuttles to the hotels. When we arrived at the wrong one, we were told "happens almost every day". Seems like that is something that should be rectified. Also the shuttle for this location is a minivan that only holds 5 people, so you have to reserve your time slot a day ahead in order to be able to use it.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the doubletree suites. The convenience of having a free shuttle to take you to and from the airport was great. The fact that it's very close to the airport, a mall, restaurants, and the main highway is perfect. The staff was awesome, and I have to give special attention and praise to Gen'nea at the front desk, who was extremely helpful in assisting me with directions for finding my way around town via light rail. She truly went above and beyond by taking the time to SHOW me my options of how to reach my destinations of choice. She informed me of my options and challenges I may face if I took an Uber (I-5 is a nightmare I hear), public transit, or if I rented a car. I chose public transit and was very satisfied with this option. Considering I'm an out of towner, I maneuvered around town pretty easily. Thank you for your patience Gen'nea it's greatly appreciated! Ok, next is the hotel is was decent for the price, clean, had a nice little restaurant inside . I visited the bar one night, and the bartender was my waiter, which was cool because despite dual positions, he was very friendly and my drinks were great. My room was large, cozy, and clean. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I will absolutely stay here again. Thank you for showing me your best Seatle hospitality 🙂!

Everything was perfect!

We have stayed at this hotel before and we really like the location close to the freeway, major shopping, restaurants and family. We will stay there again.

We did not like the paid parking at $16 per night. Bar prices were a bit high. Breakfast from the menu was average. We had a noisy room with what appeared to be a noisy fan coming from another location. We mentioned it to the staff at the counter and they said they would have someone look into it. Did not know if that happened as we had no further communication. The noise was still there the second night. Our room was large but it does need an update.

I appreciate that a well prepared vegetarian option was available on the breakfast menu. Many vegetarians do not eat eggs. It would be good to have more options without eggs. I was surprised at the price of the bill for the room. It was higher than what I read online.

I didn’t realize there are two Double Tree Inns in the SeaTac area. I was very tired and spent an extra hour going to the wrong location after a very long day of travel. I was told the is a regular occurrence. Could they have different distinct names?

The room with the living area was spacious and very comfortable for 2 adults and 3 kids. The location was perfect, like 8 minutes away from the airport, a convenient store, a 2 minute walk, and surrounded by places to eat, including an Outback steakhouse in same lot. Will be staying here for future trips

The toilet was a bit small and low to the ground. Hard for one with bad knees. But otherwise, a minor inconvenience.

I liked the room and the location close to the mall.

Did not like that I selected breakfast with my reservation but did not have it when I went down to eat the first morning. Also was disappointed with the bar tender who was always other places than behind the bar and could not pour a beer from the draft with salt on the rim for fear of it foaming up and over flowing the class!

I liked the cookies and buffet breakfast but $25 breakfast was a little too steep if you don't eat much.

Paid parking. The parking was not even monitored or secured by a gate and yet, I had to pay. This is the same parking area from few years ago when I stayed here but I didn't have to pay. Also, at the time of booking it was not mentioned.

I read through the reviews. Of course you get a couple bad ones but I noticed that it's a high star place and I was desperate. I looked to.see if it had a swiming pool and if it was open and it was and everything exceeded my expectations. The room was so nice for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable the room was big n nice. I would recommend and definitely visit again. It was so cool it had a racquet ball court, basket ball court, jacuzzi, pool, gym , and they had a restaurant/ bar amd also a Starbucks! It was an awesome location close to everything the mall and food and stores. I wish I could've went and did more but it was just for a night with the kids.

Close to the southcenter mall, walking distance and also had restaurants around within the area so could go out easily

The noise, people should not be shouting across the hallway trying to talk to their friends after 12, but there were several nights around 1am where people were still outside shouting and screaming at their friends or family. Just unacceptable when some people need to rest or are busy with work or other things.
